Israel didn't break the peace, they've been systematically attacked for decades, and then came the massive Oct 7th terrorist attack. Its become overwhelmingly obvious that no 2 state peaceful solution will work. Netanyahu has got to be resolute and not relent until he's killed every Hamas terrorist in Gaza, no matter the cost. Failing to do so is what will eventually get every Israeli killed. There's a time for peace, but its not now, its when the enemy has been utterly destroyed.
Your statement is tantamount to saying that right after Pearl Harbor, " The U.S. needs to get rid of Roosevelt, he and his far left cronies will get them all killed because they don't care about peace"
I agree, leaving Hamas in place would continue to pose an existential threat to Israel. An alternative would be for the Gazan militants to lay down their arms in exchange for free passage to a third country. The trouble is, it seems no country wants them.

Israel has a law called the "Law of Return", which grants Jews the right to immigrate to Israel and gain Israeli citizenship. This law applies to Jews from anywhere in the world. But here's the catch; Most Jews don't want to live in Israel. The Jews who live in Israel tend to be zionists and religious zealots. Any society based on a religion is doomed for continual conflict with neighbors who don't have that same religion. Wars about religion is never ending. Most if not all countries used to have an official religion. All of Israel's neighbours still do. I read approximately 70-80% of countries now have some form of secular government or incorporate secular principles into their governance systems. This is the best practice going forward vs the old system of mixing religion and government.

Israel killing 33k + Palestinians in an effort to get rid of their enemies, reminds me of fishermen who cut up star fish. Instead of eliminating their enemies they are multiplying their enemies, not only in the region, but worldwide.

The jews should never have been given any land and the UN resolution granting them that should never have been made. Stealing land from legitimate owners is the root of todays troubles. Send the jews back to Europe.
No one gave the Jews any land (except God), they took it back in 1948. The UN may have gone along, but only because they couldn't stop what had already transpired. Israel occupied the land in 1209 BC, the Palestinians were never the legitimate owners, in fact Islam didn't even exist until 700 AD.. Prophecy proclaims that the Jews aren't going anywhere now, so those wanting to eradicate them have a fight on their hands that they can never win.

You base your claims on mythology. That is not a good way to run a country let alone take land from others. I hope you are looking forward to many more years of fighting with each other in the Middle East. There will never be a peaceful solution until all the religious crazies, including the American christofascists drop their stupid claims based on mythology.

Your probably right, but people believe what they believe, so mythology or not, there won't be any peace.

I doubt Netanyahu would settle for that, mainly because Hamas would likely just reorganize and return. The only good terrorist is a dead terrorist, Israel has got to follow through and kill every one of them.

Which is exactly what Netanyahu doesn't want. He is currently taking even more land from the West Bank. It's not in his best interests to give Palestine a sovereign state. I doubt he will go for it. Israel pulled all the Jews out of Gaza and within a short time it's government was sworn to the destruction of Israel. How would you prevent that happening with your "sovereign state" of Palestine? How will you ever know if they don't grant Palestine a sovereign state? What is wrong with giving them self rule? Why does Israel think they have the right to rule land that isn't their land?

Israel needs to get rid of Netanyahu. He will get them all killed. He and his cronies are far right and don't care about peace. Israel has been taking land from them for decades, land that is not theirs to take. They have dictated to them at every turn. It's this that has created the terrorist group Hamas in the first place. Your solution is to kill them all. That is a good way of creating even more terrorists. I recognize that this is a situation that is very complex, but killing them all is not a good solution imo. They are surrounded by the Arab world and they can take this too far and create even more enemies than they already have. Pearl Harbor ended with a nuclear solution.

The Hebrew people were small tribal groups. They were surrounded and lived with what are now mostly Muslim. So to say that a non existent God gave them the land is just part of the whole problem. That land was never just their land. Never. But Christian nations believe that Israel needs to exist for the second coming to happen, so therefore Israel must be protected at all costs. Such a recipe for disaster. Kind of like what's happening right now.

Trouble is they are not viewed as terrorists when they are fighting for the return of their lands and the right to self rule. Only those who support Israel see them as terrorists. And, yes they are. But reality is they are not terrorists in their mind but rather someone fighting for the right to self rule and exist apart from Israel.

76 years fighting an unwinnable war should do it. They have nothing to loose and martyrdom to gain. Both think god is on their side. Exactly. And the only reason Israel has been able to keep hold of that land is because they have the support of Christians that believe Hebrews have to be in the 'promised land' for the second coming to happen. Living out the mythology of religion is a no win situation.

Israel took by force; the Golan Heights, the West Bank, the Gaza Strip, and the Sinai Peninsula during the Six-Day War in 1967. Israel did this by first attacking simultaneously Egypt, Jordan, and Syria. Israel then gave the Sinai Peninsula back to Egypt, but kept the rest.
After this six day war the United Nations Security Council passed Resolution 242 in 1967, which called for Israel's withdrawal from territories captured during the Six-Day War, including the West Bank, Gaza Strip, Sinai Peninsula, and Golan

Interestingly, many who insist on Israeli withdrawal from land they acquired in warfare are OK with Russia annexing Crimea and four other Ukrainian oblasts.

Using that logic it would be justifiable for North Korea to start bombing South Korea as there are troops on their boarder. Same for many other countries. The UN resolution 242 was the remedy for their aggression.

If Israel wasn't blocking them from their land, the Golan Heights and the West Bank then it wouldn't be a problem to support themselves. It is a problem now only because the Israelis are occupying the Golan Heights and the West Bank and keep them locked up in the Gaza while starving and bombing them.
