What happened with the poster waynedean64? Was that maybe an Internationalstudies alias account that he was playing a little game with? With regard to the workers talking about these issues, it can be done in an all inclusive environment. All it needs is some education of whoever is doing the speaking or training. It is even probably best that way. Kids these days know an awful lot at a young age. Internationalstudies' latest comment seemed a little out of character, so the plot thickens

I suspected you couldn't sell all that you had....... Clearly disolving the Ministry would instantly solve many things....what is also clear is some people just cannot do without it.....Idolatry 101. What isn't helpful or logical is supporting something that has been flawed from the start and thinking if you just try again the result will be different this time...... You could keep going to meetings in the home so whats the problem?. Rom 10:14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? Rom 10:15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! When parts of the body are missing the body won't function right or even at all, has absolutely nothing to do with idol worship. I'm sure you would be happy with that though Chuckite... 2 false premises lead you to these conclusions. You dont understand their concepts of preaching and preaching without words....the ministry is nothing without words as you have just confirmed. What you and they have done is appropriated something in another culture that you dont understand and applied it to what you are doing in the present. The "ministry" is not a member of the body......you have been brainwashed by them wally. The mere fact you are convinced that you or others cannot do without these minister's is idolatry.

Not to mention the elephant in the room specifically about preaching with words...a vast majority of the population couldn't read in Paul's day and the printing press hasn't been invented. Of course they wouldn't know if someone didn't tell them verbally. Times have changed. How many times has someone in modern times asked "did you hear about X?" And the reply is "yeah, I saw it on Facebook!". The written word is no less powerful than the human voice. I'm not sure I follow what you are saying about preaching with respect to the culture in Jesus' day, can you elaborate?

You probably shouldn't use words you don't understand...

We really only understand one concept of preaching. But Paul on more than one occasion says it is something without words.......and then when you consider Hebrew people think function not form it changes everything you thought you ever knew about preaching and spreading the gospel. Basically men and women practising the self discipline of celibacy whilst running around "telling" people to believe xzy in their mind is not actually preaching the gospel.....

Read it like a Hebrew would and not like a worker would.

Thank you to Wally ! Dear elders, Please share this by email with those in your mtg. according to your wisdom. Your brother, Wayne Dear WA/N ID/AK workers, elders and friends, Recently, John Mastin confessed to sexually abusive behavior involving a minor during his time on Pohnpei. We have recently received other similar allegations from victims and their families which indicates a troubling pattern. We are in touch with some who have connections with Pohnpei, and are offering our support to those involved. None of the allegations involve people who are currently minors. We are very sorry for the pain this has caused, and we want any other victims or people with concerns to feel free to come forward and be heard. During our visit with John, we all agreed to the following conditions: · He is stepping down from the work. · He will not be attending any meetings until further notice. · He will immediately seek professional therapy. Early this week, we plan to send an email with educational documents that will direct each of us to practices and awareness that will help keep us safer. Your brothers, Brian, Wayne, Darryl For those who would like resources, please see: RAINN - the nation’s largest anti-sexual violence organization 1-800-656-HOPE (4673) www.rainn.orgNATIONAL SEXUAL VIOLENCE RESOURCE CENTER: www.nsvrc.orgWASHINGTON COALITION OF SEXUAL ASSAULT PROGRAMS: www.wcsap.org Damn it! The OT won't save you, Hebrew culture won't save you, Hebrew language won't save you, function won't save you. Christ and what he did in the NT will. Some of the NT is referenced in the NT. Might want to check it out. Nope Christianity started with Christ and him dying on the cross, the name arrived about 4 or 5 years later. A Hebraic scholar would know that.

Read the scriptures....The Holy Spirit Yes, The word Holy in KJV comes from a concept of justice, mercy, compassion, or the absence of bondage and oppression. And Spirit, has a concept of breath, or wind, in our understanding it means an unseen influence. Therefore when I read the word “Spirit” in KJV, it’s always meaning a unseen influence that is without bondage. If someone claims to have the “Holy Spirit”, and acts contrary to that towards others, especially others who aren’t like them, you can safely believe that they are charlatans and idolaters.

Luke 8:43-47 [43]And a woman having an issue of blood twelve years, which had spent all her living upon physicians, neither could be healed of any, [44]Came behind him, and touched the border of his garment: and immediately her issue of blood stanched. [45]And Jesus said, Who touched me? When all denied, Peter and they that were with him said, Master, the multitude throng thee and press thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me? [46]And Jesus said, Somebody hath touched me: for I perceive that virtue is gone out of me. [47]And when the woman saw that she was not hid, she came trembling, and falling down before him, she declared unto him before all the people for what cause she had touched him, and how she was healed immediately.

It's metaphor and literal. It shows the power and healing of God/Christ/HS both spiritually and materially. It also demonstrates Christ is not limited to material acts. It demonstrates Faith and patience of a believer even though we may have little or none. It ties into John 11:25-27.

Rom 10:14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? Read on and you'll see an answer to this question. The footnote to verse 18 is... Psalm 19:1 The heavens are telling the glory of God; and the firmament proclaims his handiwork. 2 Day to day pours forth speech, and night to night declares knowledge. 3 There is no speech, nor are there words; their voice is not heard; 4 yet their voice goes out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world.
