Have you openly acknowledged that past response to CSA in the church has generally been appalling? If you have, I missed it. Absolutely agree there have been instances in the past where the response to CSA in the church has been appalling. There have also been instances in the past where enlightened workers and Overseers have dealt with CSA in the correct manner. (of course those with loaded agendas struggle to acknowledge that). I am also confident that recent events will help ensure that, where necessary measures, policies, code of conduct have not already been implemented. Then that is happening now or will be happening within a very short time frame. Of course this will still be unsatisfactory to a certain type of TMB poster. I don't lose any sleep over them and their agendas  I do think one thing that might be helpful going forward is random checks of laptops and phones. It might just make whoever is doing this delete their histories, but it might also catch some? I don't know. Just trying to think of ways to help the workers catch these people before they get too many victims. |

In criminal matters the correct authorities to report to are the police, not workers. The impression must not be given that the workers are to be the first point of reporting, especially on account of their adverse approach to organisation and responsibility. At least in the UK there are evidential factors regarding who a female first reports or makes a statement to, after she has been sexually assaulted. Until the workers fully join the 21st century in these and other matters, they should have as little involvement as possible in the early stages of an investigation. They will on hinder.
I agree that reporting any crime to the police should be step one. But any investigation would require pertinent information from the group (Workers). If they are left unaware and kept in the dark, then any help relevant to an investigation would be limited.
I wouldn't hold your breath on the church joining the 21st century, they will remain unnamed because Jesus didn't name his church or start a new denomination, and you can't suck money out of an unpaid rogue preacher that's gone bad If they have a hierarchy then they can be sued and the victim survivors compensated, so they will never admit they are an organisation. I would say the 200 is the tip of the iceberg within the whole group.
I agree, with no head honcho or official church board, who do you sue? Victims could sue the individual offender, but a Worker has no income or wages to garnish. I suppose they could sue the group (Workers) for a lack of oversight which contributed to the abuse, but who would you serve with a lawsuit? I reckon they could track DB's credit card and attach a lean against any money left in the associated bank account? But I highly doubt anything like that is probable.
Here is the problem with the 2x2 legal setup. They either get the protections of the law or they don’t. If they aren’t a church then they need to pay taxes. If they are a church then the paid ministers (aka hirelings) need to report self employment taxes. One would think in theology that avoids grace and embraces suffering that paying taxes would be the right and difficult thing to do. Here’s the point. The elders who hold the church money in order for workers to say they don’t get paid and thereby commit “justified” tax fraud, hold all the civil liability. In fact, they are setup more like a Mafia structure than a church structure when you look at it from a law perspective. The best way to stop the tax fraud, and possible human trafficking coverup, for a way that refuses a legal church structure with enforced checks and balances is to use the Federal RICO laws to bring down the whole organization. The elders who launder the worker money, the leaders of the organization who commit tax fraud and allow sex crimes to continue regardless of intent or reason and hold people hostage using “only way” as a weapon to keep people in fear of losing their eternal salvation. Again, do they want to be considered a church and be protected by the law or don’t they? Who IS the author of confusion?? |

This is a possibility that my mind keeps turning to. But, mostly within the 2X2 organization itself, not outside of it. A quid pro quo situation. 1chinesewhispers has referred to a female predator a few times on here the last week or so. If she is referring to the same situation that I have heard of, this female was actually more of a procurer, than a predator. Shades of human trafficking. Totally repugnant, and extremely poorly handled by management. So it's not unheard of. And, yes, I am stirring the pot. I’ve heard through the grapevine about female predator(s), but not in a procurer type capacity. Not dismissing the idea, it’s entirely possible and potentially fits with some of the other bombs that were dropped this week (outside of these boards). But what’s the payoff? Money? Status? Gratification? Power? The payoff is protecting victims…. And ….cleansing, and hopefully the possibility of embracing grace and joy and discarding the only way doctrine so that the friends can have fellow ship with people from other churches instead of calling them heathens and making fun of funeral sermons from false preachers. |

Not really sure what will satisfy your answer without saying specifically what i did. I honestly don't know why my old profession is of such importance.
I think it is only fair that anyone who makes claims of special knowledge etc., has to give a satisfactory explanation if asked, for the sake of validating their claims. This is only fair and right. Your position is very suspect in view of your apparent reluctance to disclose any supporting details. As for the other information you post, this should be able to stand in its own right and not beefed up by personal claims which you refuse to divulge details of. As others have alluded to (I will be kind), there appears to be more than a hint of an egotistical element injected into your posts? It's quite common for people to use apparently true information to boost their own standing in the community. Knowledge is after all....power!
Basically I am trying to validate a person whom I don't know, who is furtive about some of the personal claims he makes. It's a bit like trying to add characteristics to a shadow. It's nothing personal. However I have little to go on and if I am curious about something or someone I like to probe until my curiosity is satisfied.
The info I gave was accurate and panned out. The longer things go on the more you will see how accurate I am. This case is huge involves hundreds of victims and hundreds of millions of dollars. And before you ask about that do your research it is ![]() out there. Of course this is speculation and we are not privy to the scope or depth of the investigation. What I "can" say is that the investigation is massive across multiple states and is growing. Also that it involves far more than the heinous crimes of rape and child sexual abuse. There are vast amounts of money floating around and most of it is illegal in its use because it comes from ill gotten gains. Money obtained from ill gotten gains cannot be used as legal tender and if it is thats money laundering. There will be many agencies involved in this in the U.S. for other countries it is not my concern. Do I know more? Yes a little but it s only small specifics that if made public could undermine the investigation. I will not divulge anything too specific, I will speak in general terms and give general info as to what has happened, will happen and so on.
This has been related/speculated/supposed by many people now. Time will tell the truth of the matter. I am not doubting it. I keep an open mind. That means I am careful about accepting information until it is validated. However, it is not this information that I am asking about. I know how the system works. It takes time and time requires patience. What I was turning the spotlight on was your personal claims. Nothing in the above paragraph goes anywhere near validating that.
I like you Mountain you are one of the few that are respectful. doubt me all you want thats your choice. However being patient will pay off as things are progressing quickly. There is still a long road ahead though.
I'm glad you like me. I like everyone who participates on this board. I do not like to get personal by disliking anyone. I believe in having a fair, balanced approach to matters, without bias, fear, favour or ill will towards anyone. I try to keep an open mind. In my opinion it serves me well. I am just as likely to criticise someone or something as much as I am to defend it. I try to stand for truth.
Use all the salt you need, kinda sounds like you have a sodium deficiency. Might want to increase tour daily intake of sodium or use a supplement. Personally I use garlic salt on occasion and sometimes Johnny's which is good on most things.
Please keep in mind any sodium deficiency that I suffer from is down to personal claims made by people who show extreme reluctance to support their claims, yet expect myself and others to blindly accept what they say without question. I too occasionally use garlic salt (to ward away evil spirits). Never heard of Johnny's over here though?

I was repsonding to this post. "I also think back to a certain overseers two brothers being incredibly wealthy. With the benifit of age I see these two guys were in average paying industries, and the wealth is unexplained" It would not surprise me, after all it's an organisation like any other underneath. And now it has a money trail to further the corruption of power.... Appreciate you stating the basis of/substance to your allegation! Sounds like a certain and red hot trail you are on to. It wasn't my allegation. I was commenting on someone elses observation and it did not surprise me. |

Fact 2 At least two of your overseers (one deceased) are proven pedophiles, and so is the 2x2 elder I reported, with over 200 more complaints pending. Why are you choking on the facts? The worse part of all of this is this 2x2 church doesn’t want to be a church. So regardless of website it’s designed to be setup like the mafia to keep the government free of identifying a paper trail that points to guilty leaders in the church. The website is only useful if people use the website.
Who will monitor the website?
Who will document feedback from reports on the website?
Who will document actions taken by whom as a result is the report?
How will meeting notes between leadership discussing the issue be recorded and reported?
How will doctrine be changed to ensure that the friends are clearly told they are not the original apostles of Christ and that the workers do not have the authority that even Paul had over the church. And that the man William Irvine started the church and that he was not a prophet like the gap between the OT and the NT. And that Jesus is the true way and that other churches also follow Jesus so it’s ok to have fellowship with them.
These would be good first steps.

You need to appoint yourself as the consultant to the workers and their website project. So that they take these salient points on board. They are hopeless incapable dishonest lot and they'll botch it up except you appoint yourself to this role. |
