Same words, same beliefs, Same methods... Just as everyone could tell of review005's double accounts so did I concerning redback and olea...not too hard if you are paying attention... I don't get why people change their usernames. Probably to create the narrative that what they say is quite popular and that they are well liked by everyone...

As far as I understand redback left, deleted his account, because of personal issues. If this is redback I doubt he would be able to use the same name if he wishes to pop in again. Is this a problem for you Wally?

Why did you think help is the old redback? Same words, same beliefs, Same methods... Just as everyone could tell of review005's double accounts so did I concerning redback and olea...not too hard if you are paying attention... Stop writing mistruths about me or else I will advise Admin re the matter. I have not ever had a double account.I left and deleted my account because I'd had enough of predominately you and Nathan. It was the right thing for me to do. I later, needed to contact a member, I did not have their email. I found out I could not without being a member and just having a guest status, so I rejoined at that point and added 8 to guest. That way it stayed. For months after that, I never participated on the board. People do not have to answer to one called Wally. Its not your board. Grow up. If Redback decides to rejoin and use another name that is his prerogative. To date, have not asked him.

Go ahead, there is no rule on TMB about calling out double accounts and double accounts don't have to necessarily be tandem to be considered double.

Yes xna I agree. She has the right to whose story she shares but it will be an incomplete story. I have observed that atheists on this board can be adamant, sure of themselves and sometimes, may I say, disrespectful of those who “believe”. In that respect she has my sympathy. But it is what it is. A complete representation must include those who choose atheism. Otherwise it is just more of the same IMO. She hope she will explain. IMO, all Cherie needs to do is be transparent about her methodology (bias). The practice of this kind of exclusion is one reason I remain connected to TMB, and why I think it is important for TMB to survive. OP edited to include word "Pro-Christian"

In quick perusal of some of the exit letters - the thought in my head is - have we learned nothing from being conned as 2x2’s? Just my thoughts.

I personally believe, it was the early workers, who conned. The incorrect story then passed down through the workers from then on. That and the 2x2 minister concept was part of the promotion/ sales talk to win people to the church with a difference. I don't believe the young worker I professed through knew the truth. The elderly one I'm not so sure of. I am learning that some of the older generation in NZ knew re the beginnings but that info never was conveyed to my mother or family. We were the recipients of the original 'beginning' dishonesty in the gospel message. I can remember as a teenager, questioning the logic of an continuous ' so called' right way, down through 2,000 years.

My grand dad was an early convert in Ireland. Dad told me lots of stuff about Irvine, most of which I have forgotten as I was young and not that interested. Dad did not seem that bothered about Irvine and from what I can gather, that is a reasonably common attitude in Ireland.

So one wonders, how such older generation folk, who actually knew re William Irvine being the founder....felt when they heard in many a mtg over the years that the church had no founder but went back to the shores of Galilee. It poses the question in my mind, did they confront the workers who preached this?

He said it was never a secret and no need for it to be. It's when they traveled overseas that they learned the narrative had changed. I was speaking to a senior worker in 1979 and she said she knew it started in Ireland but preached in meetings several times that it was from the beginning.

But maybe I’m just in a bad mood - exacerbated by the website to help people which strains out people who don’t follow the rules. Makes me a little furious. We actually sought out family overseas . 1 cuz went in Ireland to chase family history It was the farm , still had the Ross name . So he drove in and introduced himself to Adrian and DNA tests were done .. Absolutely a perfect match . Adrian is the grandson of my great uncle, Charlie Ross (was a worker) a early worker that came to Canada 🇨🇦 More history to chase . He was a worker until the uprising over leadership and he chose to leave . He married and had a family . We were told his story and after he spoke about the Truth . He spoke once and only once . Silent after . So as we were growing up we heard about the infighting . So our parents told us his story , when we were old enough . Now we have no family in the Truth and we didn’t hear Trinity from the Truth ever !

I was speaking to a senior worker in 1979 and she said she knew it started in Ireland but preached in meetings several times that it was from the beginning. I recall talking with a sister worker who was on the first-ever workers list. I asked her where the workers had come from when they first came to the British Isles, and she said, "Germany". OF course I believed her -- I was 13 years old and had heard it preached from the time I was born that this "denomination" was the only one from the beginning. You can imagine my shock when, in my 20's, a young ex worker from Ireland told me that the reason all the old workers were from the British Isles was because that's where the "Truth" began. So much for the "truth" of the matter. I have often perceived that it's common enough to maintain a factual lie to convince someone of an "eternal truth". How interesting is that???

Ah yes, the tricks of serial liars. We were just making bad assumptions, and if properly asked the workers would have clarified that "we are the only preachers who go back to the shores of Galilee " actually referred to their beach vacation plans.
