they say bikers are the last cowboys so yippee ki yay.... Lots of bikes out yesterday doing there thing. I seen a cop too but he didn’t bother me.. You are probably fine if you are riding alone. If there's more than one, or you stop to loiter, things might get interesting. We did have the police checking on a neighbour, at their house though, because someone else has complained they were seen coming and going too much! So you never know.

Where I live there seems to be a good spirit of co operation with the law. Other places not so good, with clandestine parties and other nonsense going on. Those are the places that could see a spike in cases. This is true. When I’m out, I’ve decided to basically just ride and only stop for fuel if need be.

It was another bike that gave me the “cop” signal as he went past in a group of three lol. And around the next corner there was the cop, pulled over with his lights flashing. Not sure if those guys got a talking to not lol..

If there are two people in a car and they from different addresses they are fined 1,200 dollars for their first offence.

I started riding mini-bikes in about 1970. Graduated to a 1974 Honda 450 (I think) in about 1975. It was a dog - never ran right and a bear to get started. So I traded that for a red 1976 (I think) Suzuki 380, three cylinder, which I loved. Wish I still had it. I also rode my dad's bikes - a big old Harley road bike, and later, a Honda Goldwing 1,000. First time I got on it, I rode it through town and back to our house, up on the front lawn, tried to park it, but instead, promptly laid it over on its side in the grass. My dad had to help me get it back up. I was probably 16 years old. There was a dead spot in the grass for a few years after that from the petrol that leaked out while it was resting on its side in the grass.

Oh yes - for several years. Even after I was in the work, one place where we stayed quite a lot out in west Texas had over 2,500 acres of ranch land, two dirt bikes, and two road bikes. I spent a lot of time on those! Haven't ridden for several years now.

I love the 70's bikes. I had a chance to buy a Honda CB-something classic fifteen years ago but I was fatally, glommed on to a Suzuki GS 500 at the time.
In an older photo, my ex is colorfully pictured with our (then) blue '75 CB 125, in the back of our orange '73 Datsun.

Another biker idiot tale ...
I bought a Honda orange and blue XL 600 in 1989. I had top end oil flow issues until I resolved them, two camshafts later. Then I went into a bike-life coma for a spell and sold it for peanuts.
Had a lot of fun while I owned it, on and off road.

Nice bikes! My Vstar is a beast but its ok. I prefer bicycles anyway for most of my transpo. I need to take a ride to see my sons family in VA. Maybe after the corona malaise.

Sad day ! Time to put my bike away . Drain and clean add a good shine cover it in garage . Our weather is getting ready to change in YYC . However if that border does open , I might sneak in while wearing a full hazardous suit , Gloves , full 😷 masks Tyvec suit and the blue booties . So glad I worked in hazardous removal . I can gear up , attach the battery to my mask 😷 , turn it on so I am not breathing the air around me . That would totally freak out others on the plane . Jus sayin . Time to rock that idea , which could end up in psych ward . Bahaha ! I have a 🏍 down in Texas .

One of the friendlies in NZ had one of those. I had an RD 350 at the time and then an H2b. Lots of happy memories of riding the twisty roads.

That wheelie at the beginning must make Mamola the king of wheelies.
