Common sense is often what is just “common to man”. Gods wisdom is always above it! Someone listening to the true gospel which contains a very serious warning along with a means to escape the coming wrath of God, should even by common sense alone, seek to follow the advice given. Very simple. Follow me is often the first words heard. We can go onto perfection, as we continue to follow. |

...And we have been given a brain to think with. I don’t think it was part of the plan, not to use it. Yes, please use the brain that God has given. For knowledge of the holy- we all need to be wise enough to ask him! My last comment on ‘common sense’ to Maryhig was not in relation to holy knowledge. |

I think you would be there stoning him as well Nathan. ** You don't what the Heck you are talking about, I believe Christ is God like unto the Father and God is His Father! I agree with Jesus. How am I going to stone Jesus? It's you like the Phariees and the unbelieving Jews who don't believe Jesus is God the Christ. You probably throw the first stone at Jesus according to many of your anti-Christ/God. |

So because they say they only worship the father, are they blaspheming? By condemning me, you are also condemning many on your own church! Because you've just said I'm blaspheming and I believe as they do. And none of the friends that I have spoken to believe in the trinity, only really you and Wally. Most I have spoken to believe as I do and you said I am committing blasphemy! Do you tell your own workers and the friends in the meetings that too? Growing up in the cult, I remember my parents preaching to us that the trinity idea was wrong. The cult teaches false teachings if Nathan is to be believed. |

We, or at least I, do not believe someone who does not believe in the Trinity is blaspheming. I think that is the difference between you and the others who believe in the Trinity, Nathan. I am open to both schools of thought but for now go with the Trinity but there is an argument for either thought. *** Jesus told the Jews and the Pharisees in His days God is my Father! ~~ I have read and heard of the 2x2s workers and friend have been classified by the Protestants as a Cult NOT Jesus TRUTH and WAY as they claim but they are classified on same group as JW, Mormons and a few anti-Trinity Protestants groups, which denied Jesus is NOT God or part of the Godhead.
Pastor Dave Legge on the Cooneyties/2x2 are anti-Trinity and Jesus is NOT God believers. They are a Cult and NOT Christians for denying Jesus is NOT part of the Godhead.

Pastor Dave Legge on the Cooneyties/2x2 are anti-Trinity and Jesus is NOT God believers. They are a Cult and NOT Christians for denying Jesus is NOT part of the Godhead.

What do think when Jesus said he is the SON of God? It means Jesus said He has the SAME NATURE as God, who he called His Father. Here are verses where Jesus said He is God that He has the SAME nature as His heavenly Father. Christ/God Jesus was telling the Jews, the Pharisees the TRUTH that is He is God or the Almighty God Himself! but because of their Unbelief they wanted to stone him as a Blasphemer! a man claimed to be God by calling God His heavenly Father.
There are 3 that bear records in heaven God the Father, Christ the Word and Holy Spirit. (I John 5:7)
~~ Jesus Christ the I AM that I AM Almighty God.
1) John the apostle wrote it so clearly in John 1:1-3 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word WAS God. He was in the World, and the World was MADE by Him, and the world knew him NOT. And the Word was made flesh and dwell among us. The Word was WITH God, and the Word WAS God. Who do you SAY the Word is? Jesus! 3) Paul wrote in I Timothy 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the Flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, PREACHED to the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up in glory.
4) The apostle Thomas said to Jesus after the resurrection, "My Lord and My God" in John 20:24-29. Jesus did NOT say don't call me Lord and God but accepted the title which Thomas called Him.
5) Mary the mother of Jesus said about the unborn Son in Luke 1:46-47 “My soul magnifies the Lord, And my spirit has rejoiced in God my Savior."

So if your understanding is that God manifest in flesh means Jesus is God, then you must also believe that Jesus is the father too! John 10 Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him. Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me? The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God. Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods? If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken; Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God? If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not.
We humans were Immortals before the FALL, In the Garden of Eden, God said "Let us create man in OUR image and in OUR Likeness." because of sins the humans became mortal beings! Christ/God came down from heaven to RESTORE our God's image/nature back to us= IMMORTALITY! Jesus said Ye MUST BE BORN AGAIN to ENTER the kingdom of God... and that is to believe and accept Him as our GOD/Creator and Redeemer/Savior who died for our sins. |
