That can go under the bad side of the ledger. Not sure why some people play with semantics on this forum. However your God ordered his tribe to do simialar stuff. Killing, stealing and so on. Was that good or bad? OK, you admit that it comes under the side of the bad ledger. The remainder of your comment is irrelevant to a believer. What God does is well done, He knows best and He is the almighty author and finisher of all things. This god chap you keep banging on about sounds a lot like Donald Trump. Do they belong to the same mutual admiration society?

Can we expect Satan to treat anyone better than he treated Job? That's more than horrible that we have an enemy that Would stoop that low‼️ You choose who to believe, the evolutionist-Satan or Creator God. God was in on the game just as much as Satan. They actually had a bet about how faithful poor old Job would be and God allowed the devil to do all kinds of things to him. That's just nasty. I have no respect for the Christian God. I have researched the history of many religions and many different Gods and beliefs and the Christian God is one of the worst out there. btw choosing to believe in God is a choice to disregard the facts that science has discovered. Cognitive dissonance is the only outcome I found trying to have faith that religions require. Forwhat itsworth. Please leave Job alone, it's bad enough that he dealt with an enemy That stooped so low, who also dealt with unfaithful friends and a wife from whomhe got poor advise

Yes, I have heard of the "patience of Job" !
We don't fight the battle that Satan put out for Job, but in the end the victory was rewarded 10 fold, and gives us an extreme pattern for faith and patience.

So. Is there a cognitive dissonance?
why do atheists "hate" a creator that is the sole product of their imaginations?
I have never heard anyone imagine anything but Good toward our Creator why waste your time on the futility of imagining a God that does not fit with reality?? JMT

And it's too late to join in with the discouraging comments that Jobs unfaithful friends gave him, by now they have apologized! 👍

And who said you could eat things ? You have no problem eating things that have "life" in them.. As we consider justice for all living things, how can anyone escape Unscathed , except the One that promised that we would all have an eternity to ponder our conscience, and consciousness/(aka)our reasonings.... but as for the material world, it will disappear/..... Just my thoughts, you are entitled to disagree of course. Of course. I eat but I don't order men women children and animals all killed on a whim. God does not do whims , as His experience is eternal...imo

Why would atheists hate something they don't even believe exists? It would be as useless as hating unicorns or elves. I would have to ask, do Christians hate unicorns? If not, why? Do you hate Zeus? If not why?

Who could ever trust a God like that. Truly?

All throughout history we find peoples that are trying to stamp out the beliefs of others , so they can usher in Beliefs that are 7-fold more evil. People will always believe something! Pray that what they believe will be the truth!!

The god you believe in, as recorded in the text you believe in, killed Job's family and the slaves he owned to prove a point. There is no situation where this is not a display of immorality.

Pray that what they believe will be the truth!! ‼️ This is why it is a good idea to hold beliefs that are supported by independently verifiable facts. When you are pointing out beliefs that are evil it is the beliefs that are founded on faith which does not have either logical nor mayerial support. Beliefs founded on facts/data cannot be evil.

More problems with the Job, if you really read story .... 1:6 "... when the sons of God...." I thought Jesus was the ONLY begotten son? 1:7 "'... LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou....." God didn't KNOW where satan was??? 2:3 "... a perfect and an upright man.... " I thought Jesus was the only perfect man??? 9:6 ".... the pillars thereof tremble ...." Earth is on pillars? 37:18 " .... spread out the sky, which is strong, and as a molten looking glass...." The sky is strong & molten??? 39:9 "Will the unicorn be willing to serve thee...." Unicorns? 42:2 "I know that thou canst do every thing..." Not all powerful???

More problems with the Job if you really read story .... 1:7 ".. god asks satan where he's been lately and satan" God didn't KNOW where satan was??? 1:6 "sons of god" came before him??? What about jesus? I thought he was the ONLY begotten son? 2:3 "... Job was perfect and upright.: I thought jesus was the only perfect man??? 9:6 ".... pillars the earth rests upon." Earth is held up by pillar? 37:18 " .... god spread out the sky and it is hard like a mirror." The sky is hard??? 39:9 ".... unicorns" Got to love those unicorns 42:2 "....job tells god that he knows god can't do everything..." +1 on that one. 1:7 rhetorical question 1:6 if you'll notice throughout the NT Gods calls us his sons and daughters... 2:3 he was perfect and upright according to probably noahide laws which couldn't save him BTW only Jesus could... 9:6 a figure of speech 37:18 don't know 39:9 when they say unicorn they don't say it was a horse with wings... 42:2 thats probably a typo...

Matthew and Luke give two different genealogies of Jesus! They both can't be right. one is marys and one is jospehs we've been over this before... From wiki "Traditional Christian scholars (starting with the historian Eusebius[1]) have put forward various theories that seek to explain why the lineages are so different" --------------------------------------------------- A simple question: Who was the grandfather of Jesus, was it Jacob or Heli? (Matthew 1:16) And Jacob begat Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ. (Luke 3:23) And Jesus himself began to be about thirty years of age, being (as was supposed) the son of Joseph, which was the son of Heli
