These threads provide useful evidence of what the ministry's attitude has been up until recently. And many of the friends as well. What a shame that our resident NZ Worker couldn't be reasoned with 12 years ago. Wiser and more courageous workers are now working towards justice for the many victims. |

And I believe he still can't be reasoned with, it's just that he's not on TMB.
I think there are some wiser workers left, but they are getting fewer, not more.
In the US/Canada there seems to be some evidence of working towards justice for victims, but it is hard to know who is driving this: the workers or some influential friends?
We need to be wary of those 'talking a good game' but in fact doing very little, like politicians, knowing that people today have short memories and a short attention span.
Today's news is very quickly tomorrow's Fish and Chip wrapping, and they know it.

Something I read today reminds me of what we endured from our resident worker... Oh, too true and exactly what we experienced. He also mocked and scoffed at anyone's positive experience outside of the 2X2 church's circle.
I heard a sermon on 1Cor 13 from a C4 Church Pastor recently that put's to shame anything I have ever heard from a Worker on the same Bible passage.

Will it be called by a new Name? “Secret Sex” When the Secret Sect came out in the early 80's, a lady we know in her Liverpudlian accent went into the store and asked for "The Secret Sex" and then, being daft, actually spelled it out, "S-E-X".
I guess the activities of some in Australia I have head about recently, redefines the term, "Handmaidens"!
