Today I am just wondering, is the reason there are no shepherds ( or shepherdesses) coming to offer comfort to you there, simply because they havent got the answers themselves,and they are wandering in the fog too?



You ask where we are, Daphne. Too far away to know much about the circs where you are, but feel close to the anguish somehow.The universality of the human condition. Just feel so helpless to help.



Am chewing over one little thought. I will chew on it a bit longer, and then will either spit it out like a weed through the murky fog onto pasture to be left to wilt, or come back here

That report appears to be true. Also heard from another source that brother workers are being shipped north to Scotland from England to fill the shortfall. No names mentioned as yet.

Still only able to ascertain from one source of our own I consider reliable that a certain one has left the work. Reason "Unable to continue in the work" with no more elaboration. Someone else when pressed said "xxxxx wouldn't be like that" and dismissed it as rumour mongering.

After much thought and anguish, we find ourselves giving up hope that there would be even ONE overseer in the part of the world that we know about, who would be prepared to communicate on a frank open and compassionate level with the flock under his staff. We have sat here counting up over 40 such. This is a sad inditement on the state of a kingdom purporting to be linked to the offspring of David. As for the USA - it sounds like there may be one or two there, but we simply do not know enough about that.
Anyway, one thought sparked some hope. Instead of concentrating on the BROTHER workers, we wonder if there would be even ONE sister worker who possesses a gigantic heart of care for all, who would be prepared to be activated by conscience, and speak with others ? It would not be the first time in the history of God's family on earth, that the timid Baraks have had to have courage injected into them by some intrepid Deborah . And then the tide turned.
The management of such an operation ? We don’t know about Scotland, but we do know that in some countries, the workers have up to 2 weeks , sometimes more, free, to catch up on strength before going to their allotted convention preparation, after the rigours of the mission year. Would any sister workers in Scotland, or England, be prepared to use that time, and visit, visit, VISIT families,and spread some confidence, hope and security ? it would be a sacrifice , no doubt: much more strenuous than doing the shops, or chilling out. But it would be a sacrifice that would bring rewards, surely.
One thing that worries me. Maybe your sister workers there have no idea of the state of things ? Could that be the case ? For example, I understand that that there is one country where the overseer very magnanimously acceded to the request to acquaint his staff with ways to deal with CSA. So - a meeting of his staff was called. 2 things happened: the first was that a subordinate brother worker did the talking, the overseer effectively divorcing himself from directly being involved. ( But, maybe this act was due to infirmity of age, mind, or tiredness or some other mitigating factor, so we must be fair here). This is not the point at issue though. The second( which maybe does relate to this topic) was that the sister workers were asked to leave at that point. Maybe it was felt that they wouldn’t be able to understand the issue ? !
So - maybe your sister workers there are in the dark ? If so, they will be helplessly meandering in the fog too. If that is the case, then, we can only pray that the sheep and the shepherdesses can link their woolly limbs together,and holding to each other, find strength to stumble together, out of the morass.

So - if there ARE any sister workers reading this, please question yourselves, are you prepared to be a Deborah ? if you don’t really believe that the friends are hurting, as "seems" the case here, then Go and ask some of your sisters, nieces, friends and their husbands, those with children. ask them ! Find out how they really feel, not just the words they may feel they have to say to you
One thing for sure. Do not fear to talk to some trusted friends! You will not be fired for that, surely ! Yes, you may find yourself relegated to cleaning toilets at convention preparations for a year or two, but ! You may find, that your inner strength will increase, as a result of acting on your inner voice!

The sister workers are the ones most likely IMHO to be in denial that any wrong doing can be attributed to another worker in God's perfect way. They will do all they can to defend the ministry.

I am caused to wonder if some of the female workers who have quit recently, are the ones who are most troubled about things they have found out and are not senior enough to have a voice that gets heard.

Look back over the lists of any country for the last ten years and you'll find it is predominantly the younger not the older ones who do go back to ordinary life!

Here in Tassie many of the friends still think EB is a great guy and "wouldn't be like that". If it hadn't been a court case where he got convicted and 6 months, we're guessing he'd be reinstated and worshipped from the platform again by now. You in Scotland better get a court case up and running quickly, or this worker will be back in the fold.

Dale Gardner's Letter "To The Church"
August 31, 1988 Dale Gardner 12680 Herring Rd. Colorado Springs, CO 80908 To the Church, "A time to keep silence and a time to speak" (Ecclesiastes 3:7) These words have vital meaning for today! We are thankful that there are among God's workers of today those that moved to speak out about grave problems among us. Because of what has happened in our family, we feel that we must also sound the alarm. To come quickly to the point, workers have been sexually immoral to members of my family. I believe that the scriptures teach that God expects me to warn His people of what is happening, and if I do not He will hold me accountable. (Proverbs 24:10-12) After trying for over a year to show our head overseers what is happening so that it will not happen to other children and women in the church, I feel there is no other choice left, than to warn the church. Then fathers and mothers can protect their children and husbands can protect their wives and some of the older children can even protect themselves from this evil. We have had workers tell us that some of these men have been sexually immoral for as many as 30 years! We do not understand why the overseers do not remove them from the shelter and place of the ministry! These problems have always been among the church but God’s word teaches that we are not to hide it, but to expose and move to keep it from corrupting the church. Please read I Corinthians 5 for Paul’s direction on how to take care of such matters. The man involved was probably not a worker, but how much more important that it be properly handled when it is a worker! They cause so much havoc in the church and in lives from their position of trust when they are immoral men! Paul taught (I Corinthians 5) that sexual immorality must be dealt with quickly and properly to preserve sincerity and truth. How could it be any different today? Harry Brownlee told several of us of how painful it was to him when he heard Roy Dietzel confess to sexual immorality at his trial after previously lying and pleading not guilty. Then, it was our turn to feel pain when Harry expressed that he felt the mistake made was that Roy was not sent far away to a place where he was not known, to continue in the ministry! George Gittins told us that he had warned the sister workers about what Roy had been doing to females when Roy was sent to Colorado. George said he did not feel it necessary to warn the saints about the problem, even though Roy has been involved in such things for over a decade! We must be a part of the congregation of the dead! (Proverbs 21.16) Many may feel, like I did at first, that this cannot happen among us. Please read I Corinthians 5, Acts 15.20, Romans 1.21-32, Jude, Ephesians 5.3-12, I Peter 2, II John 9-1l, etc. for confirmation that it can and has happened and that God and his apostles (Jude 17,18) warned us and told us what to do. Sexual immorality is a grave problem (Acts 15.20) that needs to be taken care of but of even greater concern is a senior ministry that tries to hide these things (II John 11) and allow them to continue for decades and will not call the victims, accused and witnesses to find the truth and deal with it by God’s word! We have talked in person to Taylor Wood,Murray Keene, Gilbert Reese and others about these matters and have become keenly aware that they want to hide this from the church. Hiding these problems will not help the church, the past or future victims or the men that have proven themselves lustful and corrupt! God did not hide these matters in the Bible so why should Taylor, Murray or any other man? However, we have talked to other workers who have told us that those who do such things should be put out of the work. Please read Jude to find what God has done in the past about such corruption. Do we want to wait for similar action or will we take care of these problems ourselves as God’s word teaches to those who have hearts to care. Paul withstood Peter before the face before others when Peter was so wrong and later Peter wrote of Paul as “Our beloved Brother Paul" Those were both true men who wanted truth held up! We have talked to victims, parents, relatives and witnesses about the sexual immorality of Ira Hobbs, Kenny Wahlin, Roy Dietzel, and Horace Burgess. How can anyone feel that we should hide these men instead of taking care of the problem by the word of God? Ira Hobbs and Kenny Wahlin have both confessed before witnesses that they have done these things repeatedly. Kenny even had the strange attitude of stating that in all cases it was only with eligible girls and women! When they and others do this over and over for years from area to area, how does anyone think they have repented? Are we more concerned in hiding these things than in protecting innocent children and women? If taken care of properly it will limit the lives contaminated and also give the corrupt men a chance at true repentance and salvation! I Corinthians 5:5 Some feel these matters should not be known by children or strangers. God’s word teaches different. His word is open to all, young or old, saint or stranger. Many people respond to this kind of problem more in line with God’s word than we do! Also, children need to know if the workers will not do what God said to do about these things. Strangers among us may be able to help us see how sick and sleepy God’s people have become. The word of God teaches about these things happening, but we His people seem to not understand! When we talked to Murray about Ira Hobbs and Kenny Wahlin, he said they have repented and are doing better and God has forgiven them! He said he would not warn the church about what they had been doing! How does this make sense when both men have confessed to doing these things for years in different states? When we talked to Taylor and told him what Ira Hobbs had done to our daughter he said, "Is that the worst thing he did?" Garrett refused to talk to us about the matter. One of Kenny Wahlin’s victims told us that when she talked to Garrett about what Kenny had done to her, Garrett told her to "not tell anyone!" We have concluded that we must sound the alarm so that others will not face the agony that these men have brought to many lives. Also we need to use God’s way to deal with them so that these corrupt men can truly repent and have eternal life! We feel the only answer left is to warn the whole church so that fathers, mothers, husbands, grandparents, children and strangers can pray to God for His help so that we can become of age (Hebrews 5.12-14) as God’s people and follow His way instead of man’s strange, ungodly, distorted method that can only result in corruption of God’s people. Murray told us that we are out of place in these matters. We are in a place we would rather not be, however we feel that we cannot be silent. Some of God’s people have come to us and told us that they have known for years what Ira Hobbs has been doing to females in the church. We can only weep that they did not warn us in time so that we could protect our daughter from his lust. Now, we must warn others so they will not face what she faced. We feel we must send this information all over the world to workers, elders and friends, We hope that if many know that many know, then true believers among God’s people will work to learn His will and do it in these things. These are very serious accusations and the accused should be tried before the church to be found either guilty or innocent. If the victims, witnesses and accusers are making false accusations, this needs to be made known so that the names and reputations of the accused will be cleared. I plead for the opportunity to present the evidence before the workers, elders and friends, following the order of God’s word in the matter. If any feel that these things should be examined by the word and order of God, please make it known. We can, like some, try to calm ourselves and others by saying, "God allows it," or we can stand fast for truth and not be fearful and afraid. What will God think of those who are afraid to stand for Him and "earnestly contend for the faith once delivered"! Do we understand what David knew concerning' reproach on Israel'? Colorado Springs, CO 80908 Mr. and Mrs. Ira Hobbs - Married December 2, 2009 Ira Hobbs Happy Convention - 1976 Ira, I have read a copy of the May 30, 2008 letter, written by Ray Hoffmann. I am very glad that you are out of the work, where it is not so easy to prey on girls and women. Ray’s statement, “There are too many allegations to be dismissed or disbelieved” should be very important to you, Ira. It appears to me that you have spent several decades in denial, not allowing yourself to admit to the damage you have done to so many. Ray mentioned that “ you are being urged to seek psychiatric help so that you can come to recognize what took place so often and hurt so many, whom for the most part are still hurting because of your lack of admission of guilt”. I think that is valuable advice, and it might save you from Satan’s hold on you. If you ever want to get right with God, you need to acknowledge your sin, repent, and apologize. If you do not, I very much believe you face an eternity with Satan, the one who has controlled you for so many years. He has successfully used you to damage many lives. When we confronted you several times, about your immorality with Jenny, all you would say is “My conscience is clear”. All that has happened with you recently, has made it very obvious that Satan was speaking through you. Your conscience is dry, hard, and dead. Satan controls you. You have rejected the power of God to help you out of the mess you have made. You have been the wolf in sheep’s clothing for many decades, from your overseer protected position in the work. Now that you have been exposed, and put out of the work, I hope it will be the wake up call, and that you will decide to change, and ask God to forgive you. I feel confident that He will, if you repent and confess. I would ask that you write to us, and to Jenny, and admit and apologize for your sin with her. It would be a good beginning in your effort to return to God. I sincerely hope that Satan’s control of you is not so great that you do not want to return to God’s grace. God has given man a great ability to forgive, and I think many would forgive you, if you would acknowledge your sin and apologize. Colorado Springs, CO 80908 [e-mail] To all who know of my past letters and concerns about the workers and practices of the group, called by them, The Truth and The Way… In past years, I put great amounts of time and effort into trying to expose Ira Hobbs, and his immorality with my daughter, in our home, in the 1980’s. Being raised in “The Truth”, I knew that there were sexually immoral workers in the group. However, when it happened to my own daughter, in our home, it struck me like never before. I was very naive. I thought that with support from the Word of God, and by contacting the overseers, and exposing Ira, they would remove Ira from the work, so that he would not have such easy access to the girls of professing families in the “Truth”. After contacting/meeting with the overseers, including the highest degree overseer, then in the British Isles (whose name I have forgotten), and the highest degree USA overseers, Murray Keene, Taylor Wood, Garrett Hughes, and lower degree overseers including Leslie White, as well as numerous workers of various degrees, I realized how wrong I was. They quickly removed me from fellowship. Their power is great, within the group, and has been, since their beginning days, when William Irvine, the Freemason member of at least 50 years, instituted among them, the hidden and controlling methods of Masonry. He called his group and endeavor, “The Great Experiment.” I very much suspect that he, and his chosen, high degree members, kept the Masonic influence well hidden from the low degree followers. Like-minded men, some whom were also tools of Satan, perpetuated his methods, through the years. Many of them loved control, money, and easy sexual access to the vulnerable women and children of the following, as known to be the same traits as the upper degree Masons. I would say his Great Experiment was exceedingly successful in laying the groundwork for a group of controlling men, many of them tools of Satan, who carried on his methods to the present day. At the present time, Ira has been “sent home to rest”, with some explaining that he had contracted parasites from his out of country trips. I hope, that as others are saying, he is truly out of the work, for good. He has damaged many lives, for around 50 years, by his evil and inordinate lasciviousness, and concupiscence. He is fully under the control of Satan, and has been for around 50 years. Satan is the master of deception, and uses ungodly men like tools, to achieve his purposes. Ira Hobbs is an ideal and willing tool of Satan. He so loves to call himself “Your Humble Servant”, but acquaintance reveals to those with seeing eyes and hearing ears, that he is a lying hypocrite, who is filled with tremendous pride and evil. The lives he has damaged and destroyed are numerous and the accounts heart breaking. When we confronted him, numerous times, he would only say, “my conscience is clear”, and “I thought we were friends”. His conscience is obviously dry, hard and dead. He liked to preach in Texas, as head worker, that the Internet is a cesspool. How revealing of an animal that knew he was in a trap, the trap of truth revealed to the entire world, on the Internet. The cesspool was in reality, the heart, mind, soul, spirit, and life, of Ira Hobbs. The salvation of many girls, young women, and sister workers of the group, is the fact that one of his victims, of decades ago, through her bravery, purpose, and need, has successfully exposed him to the whole world. Because of Jean Trotter Austin’s long struggle, heartaches and tears, Ray Hoffmann, new overseer of Texas, has had the meetings, and wrote the letters that are now available to the world. (Read Jean's Account Here:) My Shattered Life Ira is an evil, Satan controlled, pedophile, and it can no longer be denied by any reasonable mind that reads the statements that Ray has made. I wish to take this opportunity to thank Jean for accomplishing what I could not, with all of my effort and time. As I read her recent letters and accounts, my anguish for her helps me understand a little of what she has been through, for decades, because of the evil of Ira Hobbs. I feel very confident that God has loving provision for those, like Jean, who have suffered so greatly by the hands of evil men like Ira Hobbs, men who call themselves the servants of God. I also greatly believe, that unless Ira Hobbs repents, confesses, and apologizes to all of his victims, God will let Ira Hobbs continue to walk the path with his god, Satan, to the depths of Hell for eternity. There, he will then burn with like-minded beings, for that eternity. That is the Biblical taught justice of the only true and living God, for beings like Ira Hobbs. Brave Jean has been instrumental in forcing the overseers to spread the word that molestation should be reported to the law of the land. I am very thankful for that, and thank Jean with all of my heart. If she had not accomplished what she has, all would still be covered, allowed, and perpetuated. They have also been aware, from the beginning of their group, that it was among them. They chose to hide it, enable it, and partake of it themselves. The overseers have known for many years that sexual abuse, by law, is to be immediately reported to the law. They have not done that, even though they knew it was a requirement. Now they understand that they have no choice, with what Jean has forced. They were told about that law, by a brave sister worker, many years ago, and it is documented and available on the Internet, for the whole world to see, including the courts. Hopefully, the days may be near when many of them will be tried for hiding the molesters. The overseers are extremely crafty, from decades of past practice with the methods and teachings of the Masonic leader of The Great Experiment. Much will continue to be hidden and allowed. Only when they have to, will they expose molesters of the past. They now understand that molesters of the present and future must be exposed. Ray and Lyle’s letters have instituted and validated that. The law of the land is becoming more and more involved with them. The law has contacted me, by WINGS timely request, asking for my input about Ira Hobbs. The group is exceedingly aware that as the victims continue to expose events of the past, it will implicate many of the overseers who concealed, enabled, and perpetuated the molestations. They are simply between a rock and a hard spot, and that is exactly where they belong. On June 13, 2008, I mailed Ira a letter, asking him to repent and apologize for molesting my daughter. Till the present time, he has not responded. If any that read this have interest in helping continue the effort to expose these men, so that there can be justice for the molested, healing for the hurting, and protection for the children, then please contact me at the above email address. There is much that can yet be changed by people like Jean, who are not afraid to stand up for children, and expose these evil, hell bound, child molesting workers and overseers, and the overseers who allow, enable, and perpetuate it. Please Write To Us, Taylor Woods! - 1988
August 31, 1988 Taylor Wood Dale Gardner 12680 Herring Rd. Colorado Springs, CO 80908 To Taylor Wood and the Church: We have sought the counsel of many friends and workers, and over and over we are advised to write to you, Taylor. We know that you are aware of how disappointed we are with the outcome of our meeting with you at Elizabeth convention in Colorado this year. We were so glad when the workers called us and asked us to come and tell you how Ira Hobbs lasciviously (Mark 7:22, Galatians 5:19, Ephesians 4:19, I Peter 4: 3, Jude 4) treated our young daughter several years ago. The three of us who talked to you together all felt great disappointment in your reaction to our despair. We still do not understand why you would not gather the other witnesses who had agreed to testify of similar problems concerning Ira and his concupiscence (Colossians 3:5, I Thessalonians 4:5). Some of the scriptural guidelines that we have found include the following:

• Matthew 18:15-17;
• Acts 15:4,12,22;
• I Corinthians 5:2,5,6,13;

We plead with you to make it known to Ira and the church that the accusers, the accused and the witnesses need to gather and proceed with handling this problem by the directions and instructions in the word of God. We also know that Horace Burgess has been involved in concupiscence and lasciviousness and uncleanness (Romans 1:24; Ephesians 5:3; I Thessalonians 4:7) with young girls for several decades. We know those who are willing to testify before the church about him. Again, we ask that you make it known to the church that his problem needs to be openly examined by the victims, accusers and witnesses. Horace was in our home about 12 years ago, and we wish to tell what happened there. I want to mention a situation that should help us to understand why these things need to be handled openly before the church as in Acts 15:4,12,22,23. It has been known by some of our ministry for a number of years that Roy Dietzel, who until recently was head worker of Nebraska, was involved in lascivious behavior. This knowledge was kept hidden in direct disobedience to the word of God, I Timothy 5: 20,21. Because a number of Nebraska elders were godly, wise, and brave enough to stand against those who had hidden this evil, the case was tried. When accused, he denied guilt, but when tried before the church, workers, elders, elders wives, and the sister workers whom he had fondled, he confessed his lie and admitted guilt. He was then removed as overseer of Nebraska, but for some reason that no one seems to understand, he was sent to Colorado to be in the work. The truth of the situation became known to some and a wise young couple expressed that Roy and his companion, Gilbert Reese, could not spend the night in their home, and it evidently became clear that something would have to be done. It was reported that Roy had been put out of the work. We now understand that he was sent to Missouri to continue in the work. Many friends and workers shake their heads in disbelief when they hear these things, and we wonder what we are doing to ourselves. If this case had been handled properly years ago, several sister workers would not have had their precious lives blighted by this man of flesh and pleasure. Jude 11. Another situation that is of grave concern to many in this area involves a Colorado worker, Kenny Wahlin. He has been accused, by Frank Caler of Colorado Springs, of lasciviousness towards his daughter. Because Frank’s daughter and my daughter have both been advanced on by men who represent themselves as servants of God, we have become convinced that God's word teaches that we must earnestly contend for the faith once delivered (Jude 3), and there are certain men crept in unawares...Jude 4. Together, Frank and I went to Kenny and talked with him. Frank visited with Kenny first in private for several hours. Then in the presence of Frank, a Colorado elder, Ed Atkinson, and myself, Kenny confessed that he repeatedly, through the years, had involvements with many girls, women and sister workers that were lascivious and wrong. He expressed to us that he would write a letter confessing his actions to Frank, myself, George Gittens, and Gilbert Reese. Our meeting was on a Sunday, and he said he would write the letters on the following Tuesday. We waited for a week, the letter did not come, so Frank called him on the phone. Kenny expressed that he had decided that he would not make known what he had lasciviously done in the past with females. We understand that he has been reprimanded by the workers and that he is to continue in the work. How can it be that he should be allowed to continue in the work, going into the homes of unsuspecting parents of girls and young women? It seems very clear to us that he needs to be rebuked before all that others may fear (I Timothy 5:20,2l), and then be removed from the ministry. If he lives pure as a friend and gains a good testimony wherever he decides to work and make a living, then, after a period of time, he might be fit for the ministry. We wonder if the verse in Proverbs 21:16 does not apply to our family today. The way we are handling these problems would make it appear that we are of the congregation of the dead. Again, I plead with you Taylor, that you will make it known to the church that we must seek Gods help and guidance to remove ourselves from this horrible condition that we are in, and openly investigate cases like these before the whole church. If we do not follow His direction and word, how can we ever become pure people for Him? Why do we not seem to understand that mercy is the twin of truth, and if we do not place mercy at one end of the balance beam of Gods judgment, and truth at the other end, then we will never arrive at true mercy or truth in our fellowship? It would seem to us that the key to this problem is simply for our ministry to openly acknowledge that there is a major problem, and that the ministry would openly invite any testimony and witnesses that would help us to follow Gods guidelines in these matters. We pray that those who read this letter will become very concerned, and earnestly search these matters out and encourage our ministry to be open about these problems as God was when he revealed like matters to his people in His written word. We will be glad to explain in more detail to any who may wish to question us about what is happening here in Colorado. We would also very much appreciate help from others in regards to witnesses and testimony as to what these men have been involved in other states. We are finding witnesses both in Colorado and other states, and wish to present the evidence openly to the church that we would follow Gods established procedure in His Word. We hope that all would earnestly pray for Gods mercy and help for His people. It appears that our condition is very similar to the condition of Gods people in the time of Nehemiah. Let us show God that we care and want His direction and help before he finds it necessary to separate us from Himself, (Jeremiah 3.8; Hosea 2.2; Revelations 3.16). Please write to us Taylor. CAUTION AND BEWARE! Profile of an Ex–Overseer of the 2x2's
The following is an account of some details of the life, teaching, and actions of an ex-overseer of the fellowship often known as the 2-by-2’s. He spent an extended period of time preaching in our field, in the 1980’s. He had a friendly, engaging smile. A tall man, of proper weight, he was considered by some to be a handsome man.
• However, as he became better known, we discovered that he thought very highly of himself.
• It soon became apparent that he was critical of almost everyone, other than himself.
One of his favorite subjects, in gospel meetings, was a comparison of people in the fellowship, to logs burning in the fireplace. The focus of this comparison was that we in the fellowship needed to be close enough to one another to burn brightly, but not so close that we would put the fire out. Another of his gospel meeting topics was correcting the young people of the fellowship. He was highly disturbed that the young people liked to get together occasionally, and go swimming at a local community pool. He expressed that this was a very bad practice, because when the boys and girls saw each other, at gospel meeting, all they would be thinking about is what they looked like without their clothes on! He had become increasingly critical of his older, and sickly companion, Lowell Klebb, both in front of, and behind his back. So when it was decided that he would have a new companion, he heralded the arrival of the fine young worker, Kenny Wahlin, whom many friends knew was a sexual pervert. Both in and out of gospel meetings, he went to repeated and excessively great lengths to tell everyone, how wonderful this young worker was. He was often seen, at convention preps, sitting with young sister workers in the dinning area, at break and meal times. It was very obvious that his hand, on the side between him and the women, was always under the table, even while eating. One friend, who was seated at a nearby table, at exactly the strategic position, clearly saw him holding hands with one young sister worker, whose name we will not presently expose, and it was obvious that they both were enjoying it. It was suspected by many, that more than holding hands was often happening under the table. He often chose to go to a widow woman’s home, Buelah Gilliland, for lunch or dinner. In discussions with us, about the workers, she told us that she had been repeatedly molested by an old worker, as a child. She also expressed great concern about what was happening in her home. She said that this worker, when he came for lunch, would frequently schedule appointments with young professing girls of the area. She told us the names of the girls, and expressed great concern for them, as this worker would take the girls into a bedroom, saying that he needed to talk to them in private. She expressed to us that she did not know what to do, as the girls often came out very upset, and because she had seen many examples, through the years, of how the overseers would put out of the church any who exposed such matters. Steve Miller, an elder of the church in our community, told us that this worker had made an appointment for dinner, and to spend the night in their home. He told Steve that he was bringing a young professing woman with him, who would also be spending the night. They arrived, had dinner, and then spent time visiting. Steve later told us, that as bedtime approached, the worker caught Steve in private, and told him that he wanted Steve to put them in bedrooms in the basement. Steve, much to his credit, was highly incensed, and put one of them in a first floor bedroom, and the other in a basement bedroom. He very much believed that the worker was planning sexual relations with the woman, but didn’t know of anything to do, other than to put them on separate floors. He also, for many years, had seen what happened to anyone who exposed such matters, and was not willing for that cost. This worker was later moved to southern states, by his overseers, and eventually became the overseer of Texas. He spoke in a Texas special meeting, of how the Internet is a cesspool. If only he had examined his own heart, long decades ago, recognized that his soul was the cesspool, and had repented of his evil. So many lives have been so seriously damaged by this man of evil, ex-headworker Ira Hobbs. Check out this website: "What to do if a child discloses sexual abuse to you" A letter by overseer Ray Hoffman, posted here on "VOT", clearly acknowledges that Hobbs is a pedophile. Overseer Lyle Schober has made it known that the overseers knew Hobbs was a pedophile for 50 years, before exposing him to the world. Instead of exposing him 50 years ago, and saving countless girls and women from this predator, the overseers continued to hide, protect, and enable him, crowning their evilness by making him an overseer! Please read the account, written by Jean Trotter Austin and posted here on "VOT", of how Hobbs repeatedly abused her, as a child, and weep with all others who care about children. It is an account that exposes the corruption of cesspool Ira Hobbs. She describes how he laughed as she cried in pain when he inserted his sharp nailed finger into her vagina, and how he sighed in pleasure as he made her hold his organ. Obviously, being that close to her made the fire in his evil, Satan filled heart, burn brighter. He liked to tell others to not get too close, to keep the fire burning. Jean’s account makes it clear what an evil, lying hypocrite, ex-overseer pedophile Hobbs really is! Members of the fellowship, if that overseer acknowledged account does not make you weep, and then work to put the evil overseers out of your fellowship, you are as dead as your leaders. I have written this account for several reasons.
• (1.) To further expose this man of evil, Ira Hobbs, in the hopes that in the near future, justice will be done, and he will be put in prison.
• (2.) To warn parents of children, in the fellowship, of how some of the workers and overseers of their fellowship operate, in fulfilling their sexual perversions.
• (3.) To expose the evil leaders of the fellowship to the friends, in the hope that they will come to understand that they can rise up and put these men out of the fellowship, by simply not allowing them in their homes and by not giving them financial support. By law, they must also report the child molesters, and the overseers hiding child molesters, to the law, and have them put in prison to prevent more child molestation.
I ask you members of the fellowship, “How long will you allow your children to be molested by your preachers and leaders?” It has been going on for well over 100 years, from the time William Irvine started his “Great Experiment”. God is watching you. You are responsible for the safety of the children, both in your own families, as well as in your fellowship. I so hope that some of you will wake up, and restore to your children their God given right to not be molested by pedophiles like ex-overseer, Ira Hobbs, and many other workers and overseers! Have you ever applied Jude’s words to your self? He said, “earnestly contend for the faith which was once handed down to the saints.” What will you do? Will you continue to say, “whatever the workers say”, or will you protect your children? Please know that God is watching you. Do you want to pay the price, for eternity, for doing nothing? If you think there is no price for not protecting them, then please read in Ezekiel 33, about the watchman. God is the same, yesterday, today, and forever. The USA is greatly blessed that Taylor Woods is dead and gone. He was so corrupt that he promoted a 50 year know pedophile, Ira Hobbs, as overseer of Texas! Hi Tiger and all that have written about this very serious matter.
The sad truth is that not one single worker male or female have come near and spoken to us concerning this worker in Tas/Vic. and they know how much time he spent in our home while I was growing up and also since we married and had children of our own. he was around our children and other children that were visiting.
It just makes us sick to think about it.
They seem determined not to say a thing about it hoping it will go away somehow.
The thing that hurts as we think of the many friends including us and our family that were reprimanded about such trivals things and have had to endure needless suffering inflicted by the very workers we were supposed to trust and yet now they can't do the right thing and take responsibiliy for what terrible pain they have caused.
They don't mind tarnishing peoples reputations so long as they keep a clean slate themselves. and at other peoples expense.
All we seem to hear is the friends making allowances for them, saying that God will deal with him at the end, strange that the workers can't make the same allowances for innocent people that have been cast out in the cold.

You seem to have good links with workers. I wish I had opportunities to talk as freely with them as you do. I admit to some envy and longing on that point. Are you fairly local? – i.e. one of the jurisdictions of the UK and potentially a person who could get us the help we desperately need?

The perpetrator has been removed which is good news….. But the sheep……. They’ve been left totally alone. They are in that fog you talk about bleating continually out of fear as they seek protection particularly for their young. Look back over the lists of any country for the last ten years and you'll find it is predominantly the younger not the older ones who do go back to ordinary life!

The sister workers pretty much have to do what their overseers tell them and even when they're not told anything they will not venture out on their own for they know full well that they could be put into a spot where they couldn't help anyone......also sometimes the sister workers ARE victims of oppression and exploitation as well......they may as well need some kind of support. So we can see where a non-educated ministry flounders within their own borders and their members beneath them literally fall away!

Actually considering that the fellowship is so much percentage-wise smaller then the Catholic denomination, I would wonder that there is a "higher percentage-rate" of these perpetarators and other sexual activities.
