You keep moving the goal posts Nathan. The yoke of Jesus was his interpretation of TORAH, TORAH believe it or not contained the Law. Jesus taught his interpretation of TORAH. Paul also taught from TORAH. The Gospel Jesus preached come from TORAH. I don't think you have come to terms with what that actually means. Your previous comment about the wineskins/Old Testament laws of Moses is evident of that.

I’ve always said the way to take our country down is through the electrical grid. Businesses shut down because cash registers don’t work. No access to groceries, gas, hospitals, banking, internet. It’s coming. I would presume that there are systems in place to stop that happening for any length of time. Businessss have to make a dollar to stay afloat. Banks are kept happy by having money flowing through accounts. Recently an anti vaxxer in NZ who tried to take out the national electrical grid was charged with sabotage and given three years free board and food for his troubles. The hubby and I both worked in the electrical supply industry. He says it most certainly can be done if have the know how. (Now the FBI will tracking on me.) |

That's true. Can't rent a car or do much without plastic these days. I have one that I use on line and I like to keep it at a low credit amount and they keep trying to give me more credit and I don't want it on that card. I hear there are differences in how people pay for stuff in the USA. In NZ people pay for their purchases with an EFTPOS card, or swipe their phone. I have not used or seen a cheque for years. Last year I bought a new car and even that was paid for by EFTPOS. Some older people still trot off to the bank to get cash out to pay for crust of bread and soul and it does not hurt to have a stash of cash in case of power outages. But even that may not be necessary as I have seen supermarkets close their doors if they cannot keep the place lit. I’ve always said the way to take our country down is through the electrical grid. Do they use wine in meetings for the emblems in the USA? I have not heard of them using wine anywhere in the US, but I have heard of a meeting where they used grape soda. Maybe someone should try grape Kool-ade. I know of a meeting in Quebec where they do/did use real wine. Sunday meeting was at my grandma’s house. She had a grape arbor and made her own grape juice. Her juice was seriously sour. My sister and I would watch everyone closely to see if they would make a face or not. They sure struggled not to. It was that bad. 🤣 |

Actually, I have a card that upped my credit limit. I don't have to pay interest charges because I use it and pay every bill as I receive it just to keep it viable. It could come in handy if I ran into an emergency and needed some time to pay it off. Also, it's hard to travel anywhere anymore without a credit card. That's true. Can't rent a car or do much without plastic these days. They rarely traveled, but when they did, they paid cash at hotels and didn’t make reservations. Those were, as we now say, the olden days. Till recently, the hubby and I always used bank cards. You can’t spend more than your bank balance. We’ve had our card info stolen a few times. Credit cards are safer in that they often don’t charge if your info is stolen. |

That struck a cord. I'm always in trouble for saying MY bedroom. The hubby says he sleeps there too. I never thought of how it came across. When we bought our vehicles a few years ago, we got loans for both of them. We had no debt, so we had no credit rating. (You work hard to pay your bills and that's how you get rewarded?) So, both vehicles were in the hubby's name. I got upset about that and recently paid the vehicles off and had my vehicle put in my name. Made me feel better. I don't know why, but it did. The house is OURS. That I know. Ironically, one doesn't have a "credit rating" if one doesn't establish a credit record. I guess part of your credit rating is a record of how reliable you are at managing your debt. Makes some sense, I guess, with borrowers like chronic bankruptcers working the economy. Exactly. We have a friend with a catering business who goes bankrupt at every opportunity. How he gets anyone to extend him credit is beyond me. |
