Yes I remember the days that the workers got around on bikes and buses............. but so did 90% of the population!!! Get with the times I say Can you quote a source for your statistic?

No I can't give a source, I just stupidly plucked 90% out of the air; but what I really meant was that MANY people, not only workers, chose that mode of transport a generation or so ago!! They were the lucky ones though because my family had to walk mostly everywhere we needed to go. Hell no!!! i just remembered that sometimes even the workers walked with us. But if you want to be argumentative about all this then I would appreciate it if you could produce the exact percentage of public transport clients a generation or so ago.

This thread is getting a little boring. Would you respect the workers more if they lived under bridges and in alleyways and walked everywhere?? I think not. Lets keep it real. As long as they don't expect me to be impressed with the show they put on for others, and flaunt their humblness and sacrifices all over me and others, lets keep it real !! God takes care of all his servants........ I just see the friends taking care of the workers. Nothing like a little guilt trip, making their sacrifice the greatest. Wow are they ever pretentiousness personified.

Only a generation or so ago, the western workers got around on bicycles and public transport. Yes, the friends had to chauffeur them or lend them their vehicles occasionally, but this was the exception rather than the rule. There were no dedicated worker-mobiles then. Again to show the hypocrisy of the situation : the workers do not OWN the cars. The cars are owned by friends and the workers borrow them on a permanent basis. Of course if the cars were owned by the workers, they would have to declare their revenues and be taxed. Again a pure exploitation of the simple-minded cult-controlled 2x2 believers ... WAKE UP, WAKE UP !!!

Young North-West sister worker, Donna Benjamin, is keeping the friends back home posted as to her experiences in South Africa. Her e-mails are full of enthusiastic, & typical tourist type observations, regarding things like wildlife, customs, cities & towns & weather, etc. She also goes on to relate up-lifting stories of the South African friends & workers as they associate with one-another, as they prepare meals, batch together, visit, and attend meetings. Her e-mails are short on sermonizing and are more like letters home from vacation. Very innoccuous really.

Ever heard about Doctors without frontiers (even got the Nobel price), Doctors of the World, Amnesty International, Mother Teresa, etc. etc. What does a sister worker - who does what she does to proselytize people - has to do with our subject here ?

"Just as the chirping sparrow expounds its song, so too the chorus of proselytiser transcends all matter !" Gene Nelson (2003 - to a gas station attendant) How did the gas station attendant respond? Who the heck is Gene Nelson and why does he say all those strange things?

The gas station attendant went away joyful at having been privy to such a treasure of wisdom. No doubt he soon shared it with others.
"Strange things inhabit only the unenlightened eye !"

Gene Nelson - a mythical figure to whom are attributed supernatural powers and nice provocative or thoughtful phrases. Serves as a paradigm by a group of social scientists who want to prove that Christ was a similar mythical figure who became a legend for the purposes of establishing a powe control structure. It is estimated that in about 50 to 100 years some intelligent people will establish the Gospel of Gene, the Acts of the Apostles of Gene and his first miracle in a wedding at Des Moines, Iowa where he reportedly changed a barrel of 7Up into a delicious Budweiser beer.

Sorry ghost, you're way behind the times. Gene has already done all that !
By the way, Gene aint no mythical figure, nor is he blessed with supernatural powers. He's just a good, intelligent guy, who possesses good thought processes.

I support worker travel as much as possible. We ALL benefit from it! And when they do travel; espeically overseas, I want to know that they are safe and cared for; because we ALL benefit...it's all connected and the more we realise that the better we are....God sees the condition of the HEART{S}; doesn't matter whether you are in first clase of last class.. And I think we all know that, don't we....{?}

The problem is you cannot travel first class trans continental flights once and a while then pretend being homeless. You cannot travel first class and not declare any revenue, or preach that we need to be humble and we need to follow the narrow way, and that is the only way people will be saved and all the others are going to hell. This is the point and I am sorry that intelligent people do not see it !

This is the point and I am sorry that intelligent people do not see it ! I normally don't choose to rebuttal with "ghosts", but I feel something needs clarification if here, IF you would be soooo kind..... 1.} Are you implying that "'I"" do not C your point and therefore am NOT intelligent?!? 2.} How does one PRETEND to be homeless? What hhmm.... What.,,,do ya go get a shopping cart and a few bags; dress up like a bag person and walk around town all day in begging for spare change? hmmm 3.} What exactly is wrong with first class travel? hhmm. Don't get it. If one is able to travel first class, great. So be it. If not; that's okay too. I know people who are actually more proud to be traveling regular class because they are proud of how well they are managing their money;; so not sure it makes you PROUD just because you have first class ticket....as long as it's NOT a FIRST CLASS TICKET TO NOWHERE;...... I think it'll all WORK out, ;;;;somehow...flying on angels' wings up in the air to spread the Gospel...... ;D ;D 4.} Lastly, I feel I MUST touch a little on this issue of humility and the airlines:: there is nothing to it. All ya gotta do is offer your seat to some elderly person or a young mom with a baby in exchange for the seat in the back by the raucous teenagers. There. That should do it. Oh, and which class, I wonder, do GHOSTS prefer???!!??

How do you call somebody who, when shown the moon, he looks at the finger?
