It's facts Natie. You like facts. Psalms, Job, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, Song of Songs, and Lamentations are all poetry. Well over half of Isaiah, over one third in Jeremiah, and around one fifth of Ezekiel, as well as more than half of the Minor Prophets (Hosea to Malachi) and other poetic sections in the narrative books. I wouldn't classify any of those books as poetry, the Song of Solomon may be the exception, but even it is an analogy or metaphoric for Christ’s love for His bride the church, and the Fathers love/hate relationship with Jerusalem.
Fixit was right.

Any creative work that reveals the good of creation is scripture. ‘Sacred’ scripture is an arbitrary term we use to describe the arbitrary aspect of canonization. I mean, were the 66 selected books as exhaustive account of Jesus? I doubt it.
There’s nothing wrong per se, in being arbitrary. I could make this post take thirty seconds to read, or ten minutes, and arrive at something of literary value.
Look out for the liars though, who would have you pick up the atheistic canards they’re carrying.

Sure, that God of mine was quite the poet .. When people don't understand something, they often chalk it off as poetic license.

And you don’t have the Old Testament Hebrews minds to understand the Old and New Test. Scriptures. Then why we need to read and study the Bible for because none of us today have the Old or new Test. Hebrews minds to understand it. Just toss the Bible away. Most of the Old and New Test. Children had the Hebrews minds and they didn’t know or understand Jesus Christ is Yahweh God is Israel! There hoes your Hebrews mind for you. Good for nothing. What happens to the Holy Spirit as our great teacher sent by Jesus to help us to understand the words of God? Is He taken a long Vacation and He can’t help us in understanding the Bible.

If God inspired it, then its His handy work. Prophets wrote of things to come and not things they saw, that's your evidence of it being God inspired. Penned by man, but composed & formulated by the Holy Spirit. This is self-evident to believers but imaginary to nonbelievers

Yes, yes, I know and read those places! But you don’t want to MIX UP the reality events by explain as poetic section then you get your interpretation out of context, fixit. Fixit is correct.

God inspiring scripture is just people who brought about profound movements forward in humanity. The concept is the idea had life breathed into it. Like all cases of "God speaking", it was just people doing things...... Prophets extrapolated out existing trends. They did not know the future. The Holy Spirit is just an influence absent bondage. Fixit is correct about the poetry.

Fixit is correct about the poetry. Exactly. In OT kingdoms, the "prophet" was the equivalent of the modern day secretary of state, an advisor wise in matters he could be consulted on for advice.

That's a good attitude to take... Most of the comments are designed to antagonize, and then turn into personal attacks. For some reason people feel a necessity to ridicule what they don't or can't believe.
