2.1 million Palestinians live in Gaza, so killing 21,672 of them hardly constitutes genocide, that's only 1.25% of the population. S. Africa won't accept Palestinian refugee's either, so refusing to provide safe harbor reflects a true lack of concern for anyone stuck in Gaza.

That's correct. Israel "defends itself" by bombing women and children in Gaza into oblivion.
They are committing war crimes. Period. They are clearly violating the Principle of Proportionality.
"The principle of proportionality (Article 51(5) (b) API) states that even if there is a clear military target it is not possible to attack it if the expected harm to civilians, or civilian property, is excessive in relation to the expected military advantage. This is one of the most difficult rules of international humanitarian law (IHL) to apply as it requires a balance between two factors with little relevance to each other."
as well as the using starvation as a weapon.
But don't worry - nothing to see here according to the USA. No evidence of War Crimes. Nope.
I guess Israel isn't Russia, Russia, Russia, so we don't have to pretend we care about their victims. We had to put on such a show of pretending like we cared about the people of Ukraine just to try (and fail) to accomplish our agenda or weakening Russia. We don't have to put on that show of caring about the people in Gaza to get us into a conflict with Iran. Thank goodness.

I agree, Israel has gone way too far. They are making the Israeli situation much worse for generations to come. They are making more, not less enemies. Many younger Americans now do not support sending any more foreign aid or arms to Israel. |
