How did you come up with that number? Yes, you were different when you first came on the board. Maybe working helped you for a while. These days you spend all day on the board arguing and calling people names. Your negativity comes through loud and clear. I lost count how many people both in and out of the fellowshop have contacted me over the years expressing concerns over the fellowship and more recently the board. *fellowship Contacts, how else? My first post here I was greeted by Archie with "Why do I vomit scripture". So no despite your attempt at a narrative I've always been the same since the beginning. Tough love... Let me correct one thing Nathan. In no way was Dorothy Irvine involved with any Protestant Reformers or their beliefs and certainly did not believe in a 'Once saved, always saved' doctrine. To link this fine woman with these beliefs and people is both wrong and atrocious. How Dorothy Irvine could be blamed for leading a person astray on these matters is beyond me. As you are aware, Dorothy Irvine is linked with continuing house conventicles, something you reject and keenly try to portray as being false! |

Under fundamentalism yes, that's why yourself and wally suffer from cognitive dissonance......you have to chop and change between conflicting concepts to make your religion work.....anything that's conflicting is either not literal, "doesn't apply to you" or you find a explanation outside of 1st century context to make it work.....but when it comes to yourselves heading to heaven and living forever or excusing your bad behaviour and your enemies burning it becomes very literal indeed.....it's called convenient interpretation...... Maybe 8 years ago or longer? around 10 years... Jason L. was doing OK when Ram/mountain posted his hoax letter on Dorothy William Irvine... After that he came back with different tones on the Protestant Reformers believing in Once saved always saved doctrine, Predestination and so on. He and I went a few rounds on that...

As you are aware, Dorothy Irvine is linked with continuing house conventicles, something you reject and keenly try to portray as being false! ~~ Basically, the Doctrine of Once Saved, Always Saved began with the teachings of John Calvin, (1509-64) who was a pastor, church reformer, author and teacher. For the first 1,500 years of church history, Once Saved, Always Saved was pretty much foreign within church beliefs and teachings. No well known church theologians ever taught this doctrine of unconditional eternal security prior to Calvin. There is some Scripture that may appear on the surface to support this belief, while there is much more Scripture to refute OSAS. By taking the entirety of the Bible, from Genesis through Revelation, it becomes quite clear that this teaching is false. Today, this belief is held by most Baptist denominations and Presbyterians and perhaps some other denominations.

The unbelievers and atheists close their ears and eyes don't want to hear and from the watch men words of warnings.
