Wally you keep being your eristic self, it reveals your true character. likewise to you, this thread has revealed a number of true characters you might want to adjust that independent agnostic christian label to strictly atheist...you are not really fooling anyone

Pity for you that some of the so-called atheistic humanists exhibit more of the Fruits of the Sprit claimed by your religion than do you. all smoke and mirrors, and how could an atheist exhibit fruits of the spirit when they don't even believe in the spirit? that is nonsensical... Atheists can exhibit your so-called 'Fruits of the Spirit' because they are human traits that sometimes develop with age and maturity and wisdom and not dependent AT ALL on the professed god of ANY theist.

Based on how you present yourself here, it is not clear to me how you would even know such a thing if it was even something to know. IMO your attitude is condescending and arrogant, two human traits NOT among your so-called 'Fruit of the Spirit'.

When you don't listen you show a blatant lack of respect. Turning a deaf ear sends the message that you think you know more than they do, that you see no value in what they may have to share, and that you don't have enough respect for them to try to understand their point of view. Your opinion may not always be the right one, we need to be humble and honest enough to concede when we are wrong.

There is no shortage of arrogance and condescension among human beings. I would expect to see some of the positive traits attributed to Jesus if there was any power in following his words. With you, I do not see any. I do see the positive in other people here on TMB, both religious (2x2 and other) as well as atheistic.

I have come to the conclusion that we are wasting our time trying to talk sense to Wally, it's all in vain. There's no Christ displayed in him, that's for sure. He is only fooling himself, nobody else. It's never good to be narrow minded, it's the same as being prejudiced and it can create terrible problems in your life and the lives of those around you. rejection of atheistic humanism is Christ like and its something every real christian should do. if the rejection and calling out of atheistic humanism is being called narrow minded and prejudiced, Happy camper i am... Well if you are an example of a Christian (which thankfully you are not) why would any one want to be one @wally ? What did Jesus say about the Pharisees? Be careful you don't trip on your self righteous "confidence" @wally !

I suspect the workers may quote Isaiah 64:6 regarding humanism.
But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; ...
And therein lies the problem with all the Abrahamic religions. It's our way, or the highway. You can never be good with out our god.

Are you in the place to judge others ? You come across as an arrogant self righteous person, NOT a Christian ! Stop trying to "play God" and clean up your own backyard !

Not you. i believe that is your biased atheistic viewpoint speaking and you seeing what you want to see...Christians should be pushing back against the darkness not making friends with it which will create "disturbances" such as we see here on TMB and this thread....

Regardless of belief or no belief in the existence of the supernatural, IMO, we all remain fully human and simply human...nothing more, nothing less.
