~~ Jesus The Great " I AM " God (From The Dead Sea Scrolls found in caves 1947) I, the Lord God of creation, who was and who is and who shall always be the one true God, the mind, the very center of the Universe, speaks to your own heart. The words that I have spoken to my prophets Moses and others were that he should recognize that the great “I Am.” filled his being with the power and the authority to open his mouth in my name and to proclaim his words as a living words that I placed deeply within him. I have in times past spoken through the mouths of my prophets and then through the mouths of my apostles. Now the times and seasons are approaching, as are the reasons, when my words shall again be spoken by my obedient prophets and apostles. Their words shall be my words and their deeds that shall be my deeds, because I have spoken this thing before the World was ever formed. Those words that I now speak shall be hidden for a season and then shall be revealed in the last times
I shall cause the Earth to quake and the sunlight, which represents the new dawning, shall shine brightly upon those who are appointed to carry my words from the darkness of the caves to the bright sunlight of my new revelation to all mankind ... and mankind shall read and they shall study those words and they shall find that they are the words that will cause an awakening to occur in the minds of mankind. It has been said in times past that I am in the wind and I am in the fire and I am into the waters. These words are not true. The truth of this matter is that I am the wind. I am the fire. I am the water. I am in everything and in everything that exists. When you touch the mountain, you touch me. When you are touching the water, you are touching me. When you touch the fire, you are touching me. I am the Lord of the Universe and there is not one place that I am not. I am not in the flowers, the plants, the fruit of the land, but I am the flowers. I am the plants. I am the fruit of the land. Mankind will climb into the heavens. I am not in the heavenly, but I am the heavenly. When I created man from the dust of the Earth, I was the dust of the Earth and I was and am the breath of life that causes mankind to live.
Say not that the Lord your God is in the heavens or on the Earth. I am the heavens and I am the Earth. Now you have received the true revelation of my word, which was spoken to you in times past. The word said that I am everywhere present. I am omnipresent. I am not part of myself, but rather I am the whole of the Universe. Wherever you look, wherever you come or go, whatever you do or say, I am there in the midst of you because I am not only in, but rather I am you! It shall be written in the future that man is the universe. I say to you that I do not dwell in the universe of mankind, but I am that Universe of Mankind, and there is no separation whatsoever. These words that I have spoken to you at this time and in this place are that you might believe the truth of the message that as my Father is one with me so is the Spirit one with me. Now I am likewise in you and you are in me and that means I am one and you are with me. Have I not spoken these words in the past that I am in you and you are in me? (John 17:21) Jesus said, " That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me." Let this testimony be with you forever and forever, as we together traverse the streets of that sojourn from dawn to night. Be at peace and look deeply within yourself and you will find me. Again I have spoken the words in the past that you are indeed gods. I am your God. This revelation is of utmost importance and you must believe the whole truth as I have spoken it in your pure hearing. I say to you, allow the vibrations of your spirit, your inner ear, be unstopped and hear what the Spirit says to you at this hour. I am the center of your universe, because I am the whole of your universe. Know this, for this is the word of the living God, the Creator of all things which are. In time and seasons to come this word will be revealed to you and you shall behold the brightness of this truth, and you shall say, “This is the light for which I have long awaited. This is the revelation that will hold and maintain me through every experience of life.” Beware, there are those who would destroy this truth, but they shall not be able to destroy this truth because the truth abides in you and you abide in the truth. I have spoken in times past. And I have said that the truth shall cause many to walk in freedom, out of darkness and satanic bondage. And they shall have no further influence or rule over you. I have spoken these truths by the words of my lips and these words are true. Accept them and you shall live in peace, in joy and in victory over all things. Amen!

I wasn't trying to provide proof, which is why I wrote; "There is no absolute proof of God"... Proof and faith are contradictory, you don't need faith to accept what's been proven. Everyone freely chooses to believe or not believe, that's how God set it up. Faith requires acceptance, proof requires nothing.
So what point can you argue with an agnostic -- assuming you approve of free will?
Absolutely none.... Its hard to believe in anything these days, so I actually empathize with agnostics. To be honest, everyone has a degree of agnostisim in them, because no one knows anything for certain.
We were all given free will to decide what we trust to be true, we believe in what we hope is true, we have faith in what should to be true, and we love what must be true. We are called by faith because there's no other way to demonstrate trust, love, and obedience, its how Enoch pleased God. Proof omits the necessity of trust, love, and obedience, Satan demonstrated that proof of God is no guarantee of obedience.

That is not true that "proof requires nothing!"
Proof requires "acceptance!" A lot of "acceptance!"
Proof requires that we "accept" the "truth" -that which is in accordance with fact or reality!
...and if you you have always believed something by 'faith,' (as I and many others have in the past) -the stark truth of reality is a lot harder to accept than just relying on your old comfortable beliefs!
Once one realizes that and admit it to themselves, -it requires being honest with yourself first of all because if you can't be honest with yourself you can't be honest with others.
I don't think that something proven requires acceptance, e.g; gravity is evident and it works whether one accepts it or not.
A belief is only a belief until its proven. Having faith is accepting a Truth before tangible proof substantiates it.
Christians are honest with themselves, they are just convinced of something that you are not. And there is some proof, just a couple samples is Jesus saying that the Temple would be destroyed, and it was, that as you say, is in accordance with fact and reality. Jesus also said things like; 'The poor will always be with you'. Can you name me one time in history when there weren't any poor people? Another truth substantiated by fact. The best way to recognize a truth is to discover that it cannot lie, it is void and undefiled by falsehood, which coincidentally is the definition of Christ.

I’m not sure what point you are making here other than telling us what you believe. You’re certainly not providing irrefutable proof of the Christian God. Or any proof for that matter. Matt10 I wasn't trying to provide proof, which is why I wrote; "There is no absolute proof of God"... Proof and faith are contradictory, you don't need faith to accept what's been proven. Everyone freely chooses to believe or not believe, that's how God set it up. Faith requires acceptance, proof requires nothing.
My VOM reports there is 110 volts present at the outlet but until I stick my finger in the mix I can't really have faith in it can I?

Electricity like gravity is invisible, but it can be felt (experienced). But just as you don't need to jump off a cliff to prove gravity, simply turning on a light switch might be an easier way to prove electricity works .

Your finger might not cause you to believe there is 110 volts there if your body resistance is 5 milliamperes , and you don’t feel it . You might have faith in it when you plug your toaster in and “ something happens to the bread in it - ah I can’t just go by my feelings but I choose now to believe my vom and put my faith in it - until the battery dies hmmmmmm. Oops don’t need battery check 110 ac - well we’re not checking ohms anyhow Alvin

Between the ears, for example, the internal resistance (less the skin resistance) is only 100 ohms, while from hand to foot is closer to 500 ohms. The skin resistance may vary from 1000 ohms for wet skin to over 500,000 ohms for dry skin.

Cool I’m no scientist either but is it fair to conclude then that our faith would be the absolute strongest during baptism then - wet skin and all ? Alvin
But ......but ......officer , Please don’t institutionalize me again .....I was just zapping them ......

Years ago I was making a milkshake and unbeknown to me the earth wire had become detached from the fuse board so everything was live. I had one hand on the milkshake machine and then put one hand on the ice scream freezer which was stainless steel and felt 240 volts go through me. It took all my puny strength to drag my hands off to break the circuit. I think that's when my hair started to fall out. (NZ uses 240 volts)

So, You don't think that when someone who has believed in Christianity all their lives that it just easy to accept that Christianity is no more true than any other religion even when the proof stares you in the face?
It is not true that "Christians are honest with themselves!" I was a Christian & I was just as convinced as you are that I was being honest with myself!
Also your examples of "proof" concerning the validity of Jesus is not as in accordance with fact and reality as you might think.
1) The gospel of Mark where Jesus foretold the destruction of the Temple was not even written until sometime during the war between Rome and the Jews during 66-74 and the temple was destroyed during that time, so there really didn't need any "foretelling" by Jesus at all, did there?
2) Do you really think that it needed Jesus to say things like; 'The poor will always be with you?'
Hardly. Don't you think that all of us would already know that?
So, - both examples can be said to have been "truths substantiated by fact," -but, they are not "proof" that they had anything to do with Jesus!

Mary - we can all deny ourselves every day but it won't get us past the Judgement Day. We can't remove our own sin or make ourselves right before a Holy God. If we think we can we obviously don't understand either the holiness of God or sin. That's why redemption from sin is vital - the Bible is crystal clear it comes through Christ's sacrifice in giving his life for mankind at Calvary. We can choose to either accept or deny the gift of redemption that Christ's death in our place provides. It was there that He took the penalty for sin - the sinless for the sinner. On that day he became a curse for us - to redeem us from the curse of the law (Gal 3:13). On Judgement Day, we will rely completely on the redemption he provides. There is no other way of escaping the penalty we deserve. Read Romans (particularly Chapter 3), Galatians, Ephesians etc. That's why Paul says (1 Cor 15:3) that what is of first importance is "that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures. No you're right, we can't remove our own sin. The only way our sin can be removed is by God showing us our sins through the Spirit and Jesus showed us the way. Our heart is cleansed by the blood of Christ if we are willing to obey the word of God, and that blood is his life within our hearts helping us to overcome sin daily. Without God, we can't do it and the way is through Jesus. His way is the way to follow. And Jesus said, deny yourself, take up your cross and follow me, and he also said, those not willing to pick up their cross aren't worthy of him. So when we truly pick up our cross, we deny ourselves turn from sin, and turn from the world and the ways of it and in doing so we truly follow Jesus. The Bible is clear that we are justified (made right with God) through faith in what Christ has done for us in His death and resurrection. We gain access by faith - Romans 6. There is no other way. Christ's death in our place on Calvary is the heart or the centre of the Christian faith. Without it there is no gospel and no hope. He alone is righteous and it is His righteousness, alone, that can and will save us. No matter how good we are, no matter how much we deny ourselves, we will never be righteous enough to enter in. Our best will always be as a filthy rag before a Holy God. That is why we need to completely rely on His righteousness which became complete when He died for us on Calvary. In that moment, he fulfilled all righteousness and became our righteousness. Our sin has been dealt with - the question for us is simply do we trust that he has dealt with our sin and do we trust in His righteousness completely.

Our sin has been dealt with - the question for us is simply do we trust that he has dealt with our sin and do we trust in His righteousness completely. The Bible is clear that God's children are controlled by his spirit living within them. Acts 5:29 But Peter and the apostles replied, “We must obey God rather than any human authority. 30 The God of our ancestors raised Jesus from the dead after you killed him by hanging him on a cross. 31 Then God put him in the place of honor at his right hand as Prince and Savior. He did this so the people of Israel would repent of their sins and be forgiven. 32 We are witnesses of these things and so is the Holy Spirit, who is given by God to those who obey him.” Romans 8:5 Those who are dominated by the sinful nature think about sinful things, but those who are controlled by the Holy Spirit think about things that please the Spirit. 6 So letting your sinful nature control your mind leads to death. But letting the Spirit control your mind leads to life and peace. 7 For the sinful nature is always hostile to God. It never did obey God’s laws, and it never will. 8 That’s why those who are still under the control of their sinful nature can never please God. 9 But you are not controlled by your sinful nature. You are controlled by the Spirit if you have the Spirit of God living in you. (And remember that those who do not have the Spirit of Christ living in them do not belong to him at all.) 10 And Christ lives within you, so even though your body will die because of sin, the Spirit gives you life because you have been made right with God. 11 The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you.

Once we are born of God we should have the righteousness of Christ in us and we should be turning from sin, and to turn from sin is to deny ourselves. It's not just his righteousness and we are ok, if we are being justified (made just) then we should be being guided by the Spirit and the Spirit should be helping us to overcome sin daily, that's if we are willing to obey the word of God, and the life of Christ should be seen in and through us. Our flesh is filthy rags before the living God but the life of Christ living through those belonging to God isn't! We shouldn't just carry on living life as we please saying Jesus has done it all for us and there's nothing we can do, that's not the truth. Once we are doers of the word we are to walk the walk of Christ Jesus, deny ourselves, take up our cross and follow him. the gospel is a doing gospel, We are to be doers of the word and not hearers only. And that means live by the will of God, obey his word, deny ourselves and love one another, and truly bare witness to the truth walking as Jesus walked. And in doing so, we follow the true way of Christ, and follow the true gospel. 1 John 2:3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. 1 John 2:4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 2:5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. 2:6 HE THAT SAITH HE ABIDETH IN HIM OUGHT TO WALK, EVEN AS HE WALKED. 1 John 2:29 If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is born of him 1 John 3:3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure. 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. 3:5 And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin. 3:6 Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him. 3:7 Little children, let no man deceive you: HE THAT DOETH RIGHTEOUSNESS IS RIGHTEOUS, EVEN AS HE IS RIGHTEOUS. 3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. 3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. 3:10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.

Btw, Ross.Bowden This is in Romans 6 Romans 6:1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? 6:2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? And there's this, (and the following verses also speak of death to self.) Romans 6:11 Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord. 6:12 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof. 6:13 Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God. 6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace. 6:15 What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid. 6:16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness? 6:17 But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you. 6:18 Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.

Any church that teaches that we can't do anything and that God doesn't see our sins is a false church. The Bible teaches us to turn from sin and obey the word of God, and that we are judged on what we do good and bad. God looks at the heart and he looks at how we treat others and we are being judged in the here and now.
And Jesus said, those who lose their lives for his sake will save their lives. Losing your life is death to self, which means not living to please ourselves but live to please God and turn from sin obey his word and do good, having a kind and forgiving heart like Jesus and we will love our neighbour (care for those we meet, that we see in need in our daily lives), caring and sharing with those who need it. This is to live by the will of God and in doing so we truly follow Jesus.

Those who are born again of the Spirit are acutely aware that their very life and future depends on the fact that Christ dealt with their sin and enabled them to enter into the Father’s presence because of what Christ did for them on Calvary. It is simply impossible for us either to please God or even approach Him without acknowledging our complete reliance on His death in our place. The verses in John that you quoted underscore this eternal truth. Of course those who are born again of the Spirit will want Him to work to make us more like Jesus - it is His work that we rely on and Christ’s righteousness alone that saves us. It is not our work nor our righteousness.

Great verses. Both passages highlight the need for repentance and forgiveness of sins in order to be right with God and that (v10) the Spirit gives a person life because they have already been made right with God. As Paul points out earlier in Romans 5, it's impossible to be reconciled with God or made right with Him (justified) unless we accept Christ's precious sacrifice in our place and the perfect offering of his life that he made for us. If we do that (and the Spirit has to change our vile bodies to even make that possible in the first place) we receive the gift of life and the indwelling of His Spirit to guide us, change us and constantly point us to Jesus, who is our righteousness. Jesus said that the Spirit would convict people about sin, righteousness and judgement (John 16:8-11) - the verses indicate Christ's central role in these three things. Romans 5: 6-11
You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God’s wrath through him! For if, while we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his (resurrection) life! Not only is this so, but we also boast in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.

Of course those who are born again of the Spirit will want Him to work to make us more like Jesus - it is His work that we rely on and Christ’s righteousness alone that saves us. It is not our work nor our righteousness. Well that's not what Jesus taught, Jesus taught that we are to do the will of God and that we are to lose our lives to save it. This is death to self. Jesus taught that we are to deny ourselves, and take up our cross to follow him, and in doing so we partake in the sufferings of Christ. Which is to turn from the ways of this world and loving the high places and loving people looking up to us loving the praise of men, and become humble and lowly, and if the word of God is established in our hearts, we should be humble and we will want to turn from sin and the ways of this world because we love God, and we will see that we are no better than anyone else. Those who belong go God are lights in a dark world and this is because they walk with Christ in their hearts. So his life should be seen in and through them, his light should be shining through those who belong to him. You are all death of Jesus, that's all you talk about, and as you said that's the core of your Christian beliefs. The core of my beliefs is the life and teachings of Jesus, and obeying the word of God and following Jesus in word and deed. And in doing so we become a doer of the word and not a hearer only this is what it is to truly follow Jesus. And those who are truly raised with Christ will live it out and walk the walk of Jesus and live by the will of God. It's not a do nothing gospel, we are clearly taught to be doers and if we are being guided by the Spirit then we will be being prompted and taught to do what's right before God daily in our hearts. So many say Jesus died for me and there's nothing I can do, and then they carry on living how they please. But God should be changing our hearts to be more like that of Jesus. It's not just repenting, it's repenting and being converted, those who are converted are dead to their old ways and alive in God, loving him and living to please him, turning from sin and caring for others when they see in need in their daily lives. This is truly living by the will of God, and those who truly love him will obey his word, obey the gospel and do the works that please God.

Why were they instructed to do no work on the day of atonement?. When you talk about works, what do you mean? What works do you believe we don't have to do? Anything that you think makes the blood effective. If you think you can do something to make the blood effective that is trampling on the blood of the lamb and you don't believe it is enough. You can repent, do the will of god and what ever other thing you can think of. If you can make the blood effective by those things what is Christs sacrifice for?. What do you need Grace for?,You can do it yourself. Or Christ has already done it. Accept it, or reject it, it is already done. Finished. Tetelestai. It's a gift!. Romans 10:3

Romans 10:3 Can you give me the verses you are referring to regarding the trampling on the blood of the lamb please? By the way, this is Romans 10:3 Romans 10:3 For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. Our own righteousness is when we put ourselves before God and love the praise of men, when let people say how good and lovely we are when we know God and we know we couldn't have done it without him. Self righteousness is when we glorify ourselves. But those who have the righteousness of Christ will glorify God and live it out as Jesus did. And the blood of Christ, which is the life of Christ within, cleanses those who love God and live by his will and obey his word. God gives his Spirit to those who obey him and without the Spirit we can't overcome the flesh.
