Stranded on a lonely island... makes sense I guess... The heavenly New Jerusalem will be coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. Revelations 21:2. š The old earth and its universe and all the planets, stars etc will have passed away. As God said in Hebrews 1 that Jesus will fold them up as an old garment, no longer useful for wear. š

Hmmmm, Maybe itās Mercury thatās the bright and morning star., depending on the stage of its cycle as well as the cycle of Venus. They neither one are stable as bright and morning stars for their cycle works off each other and the sun. Thereās times theyāre the night stars which indicates theyāre the lights of darkness. Thatās not kosher for a Jewish bright and morning star to be relegated at any time to be the star of nights or darkness. That just doesnāt jibe nor considered kosher. |

John the apostle was NOT stranded on a lonely island but he was a prisoner banished by the Emperor for preaching Jesus Christ gospel. So just ignore the accusation then? Claiming to be the Son Of God proves the Diety of Jesus. Jesus is claiming to be equal with God, he say's he is one with God, In God, God in Him, He says "I AM", Claims to be pre existent, They try to stone him more than once, They accuse him of calling/making himself God. Paul says In him ALL things were created, in HEAVEN and EARTH, Visible and INVISIBLE THRONES, He was before ALL things. Thomas say's to Jesus "My Lord AND MY GOD" Jesus told Pilate "My Kindom is not of this world" Jesus claims to be the SON OF GOD. All these things confirm the Deity of Jesus, The Jews Recognised this claim and Eventually Crucified him for it. No they don't mean that he is God, the Jewish leaders were baring false witness against him so they could accuse him of blasphemy because their hearts were full of wickedness and envy. Jesus didn't say that he was God, but the son of God and they used that against him, falsely accusing him of blasphemy to have him put to death. As for him saying he is one with God, he says that he is at one with the father and then he also says that those who belong to him are also one with him and the father, as seen in John 17. And that doesn't make them God because they are at one with Christ and the father does it? It means they are no longer of the world and their minds are on the higher things of God as Jesus's was, and their hearts and minds are at one with Christ Jesus and the father and they are all one through Christ by the power of the Spirit. As for his kingdom not being of this world, he also said that those who belong to him are not of this world either. So that doesn't make him God. John 17:13 And now come I to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves. 17:14 I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT OF THE WORLD, EVEN AS I AM NOT OF THE WORLD. 17:15 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil. 17:16 THEY ARE NOT OF THE WORLD, EVEN AS I AM NOT OF THE WORLD. I regret that this is your perception. May I ask how you reconcile how Nathan defends and condemns the 2x2 church at the same time? Few people have such vast amounts of knowledge at their fingertips as Nathan does. What knowledge? With the internet we've all got it at our fingertips but we have learned to discern truth from fiction. Some of us are educated and don't believe everything we read on the internet. You aren't reading it right then. Jesus clearly says he is the bright morning star. not that he lives IN the bright morning star. As the creator of worlds he knows all too well that to say that is ridiculous since he made all the planets solid not hollow. |

Did he now? Try reading what John wrote two verses later. Also try and get an understanding of the context from the preceding chapters. A completely different analysis emerges. ** If Thomas had said it incorrectly by calling Jesus God and LORD.. Jesus should have said I am NOT God so, don't call me that because that titile belongs to my Father ONLY. Jesus did NOT correct Thomas and Denied He wasn't God either. Jesus went on to BLESSED Thomas for his confession and admitting Jesus is His Lord God/Redeemer and Savior. Thomas was seeing two persons in Jesus at that time, for the first time. Only a short time beforehand (Ch. 14), as fixit patiently pointed out, Jesus had told the disciple that from henceforth they would see the Father (in him). Go back and read what fixit so diligently quoted. After the resurrection, Thomas saw Jesus, his Lord, and God the Father as his God in Jesus, just as Jesus said he (they would). Furthermore, only two verses later, John recorded that these things (and others) were (specifically) written to show that Jesus was the 'Son of God,' NOT God or God the son, etc. (Virgs) |

And since the sun is a star, and Jesus the "bright and shining star" was revived after 3 days, it is proof positive that Venus was a Virgin. I think if we study Nathan's words very carefully, nowhere, and I repeat , nowhere, does Nathan state that the 2x2s are wrong on anything, even when he very clearly makes bold pronouncements to this effect. What he is alluding to is that he and the 2x2 church are in total alignment with their beliefs, only they don't know it yet. That's what I am reading into the situation and it helps me to reconcile some of the things he says which appear to be the opposite of 2x2 beliefs. Sometimes you just have to think things through a bit more before it starts to make sense. I do believe you're right mountain. He's right and they just don't know they're right yet... Oh what a tangled web we weave when we practice to deceive... I'm sooo confused lol |

When Venus rises, it means the sun will follow very soon (in a morning, usually within an hour or two, sometimes just a matter of minutes). Christ's comingāand in a broad sense this could apply to both his first and his second comingāmeans/will mean God's light is about to shine forever on the universe, making all wrongs right, wiping away all tears, and fulfilling Revelation 21, with the creation of the new heavens and new earth, etc. On a long dark night, the appearance of the morning star means daybreak is imminent. In the long dark night of suffering on earth, Jesus being seen as the morning star means the eternal morning is about to dawn. Hence, Christ as the morning star is a picture of great promise and hope. In one of my books I call Jesus the Morning Star and several readers have gotten very upset, wondering why I would give Jesus a name that belongs to Satan. They are of course referring to Isaiah 14:12: āHow you have fallen from heaven, O morning star, son of the dawn! You have been cast down to the earth, you who once laid low the nations!ā The point is that Morning Star was a name for Lucifer before his fall, and there is no inconsistency with two very different beings called by the same name. Lucifer was a creature of beauty and power. Christ is God, the Creator, beautiful and powerful beyond measure, the one Lucifer rebelled against. But the name Morning Star is not taintedāit is Satan who is tainted. Obviously this is the case, or Morning Star wouldn't be used of Christ as it is in Revelation 22:1-15, nor used in a positive way as it is in 1 Peter 1 and Revelation 2. Christianity has been here since Jesus day, but the first church has not.
Belief and worship continues to this day as he said it would. His church exists in born again believers. Where 2 or 3 are gathered in my name there I am in the midst. No mention of a church started nearly 2000 years later by a man from Ireland named William Irvine.
I thought I was in the first church but later found out this was a lie which was used in order to gain converts. It is just another man made denomination. God does not see denominations but the hearts of men and women. His church is everywhere, not just some small unknown sect.
Christians believe that the truth is Jesus not some man made denomination.
