Ive tasted of that inexplicable joy and I sure don’t want to miss out on that. That joy is complete in Jesus! But will it be able to keep lasting is the big question? At what point does extreme joy become agony? since God and Christ are eternal i ASSume the conditions surrounding them like joy are eternal...

nathan. I am sure there are accounts of extraordinary events recorded in books other than the bible, which you and I would agree are fictitious Nathan. Do you believe that Mohammad rode into heaven on a white horse? I do not consider that claim sourced from the qu'ran, nor the supernatural biblical references to be credible.

Christ/God from heaven/Venus incarnate in the REAL person Jesus a human being/God. He would NOT tell us something if it were NOT TRUE. It would make him a liar and God does NOT lie.Do you believe that Mohammad rode into heaven on a white horse? I do not consider that claim sourced from the qu'ran, nor the supernatural biblical references to be credible. I don't read the Koran or know too much about Mohammad. I have studied the life of Jesus/God so, I can tell you his teachings but Believe or NOT is up to you.

So do you suppose God will create another planet some time in eternity so he can play his war games on it? He was the god of war, remember.

I believe they have WARS for a VERY, VERY long time/billions of years or longer, with Satan and 1/3 of the fallen angels in heaven and throughout the Universe, trillions galaxies and Zillion planets in each galaxies. After 1000 yrs reign with Christ and the Final Battle of Armageddon/Israel soil with Satan and he will be cast into the Lake of Fire and with ALL of his followers forever, then there will be PEACE forever in the New earth and heaven with His people.

According to the Bible, you are wrong. I didn't mean anything. I was wondering if you had any thoughts about what god might do outside the period of the big bang creation.

But will it be able to keep lasting is the big question? At what point does extreme joy become agony? It’s not extreme. It’s hard to explain and yes it’ll be for all eternity. There’ll be peace and serenity with that joy. It’s just A condition man doesn’t find on earth. Prince of Peace! I believe that it is because mankind has problems & often doesn’t find a lot of joy on earth. This has caused mankind to created the stories of an "after life" where there will be "joy peace and serenity."
Nearly all religion/cultures claim an "afterlife." For instance; Valhalla “the hall of the fallen” the resplendent hall of the god Odin was just one
www.mythencyclopedia.com/A-Am/Afterlife.html
Cultures the world over recognize that every life will end in death. However, many claim that some invisible but vital part of the human being—the spirit or soul—continues to exist after death. In some traditions, the individual possesses more than one soul, and each of these may have a separate fate.
Religions throughout the ages have included a belief in an afterlife, a state of being that people enter when they die or a place to which they or their souls go.
Myths, legends, and religious texts offer varying visions of the afterlife. These images reveal much about each culture's hopes and fears for the afterlife and often contain lessons about how people should live their lives.

According to the Bible, you are wrong. I didn't mean anything. I was wondering if you had any thoughts about what god might do outside the period of the big bang creation. hmmm could you show me the verse that says "God of war" Hi Wally, Here are verses talk about God the Father and Christ are the God/Elohim of wars...
Exodus 15:3 "The LORD is a warrior; The LORD is His name.Isaiah 42:13 The LORD will go forth like a warrior, He will arouse His zeal like a man of war He will utter a shout, yes, He will raise a war cry He will prevail against His enemies.1 Samuel 17:45 Then David said to the Philistine, "You come to me with a sword, a spear, and a javelin, but I come to you in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have taunted.Rev. 19: 11-20 11 And I/John saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he/Christ that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. 13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. (Jesus is the Word of God John 1:1-3) And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. 15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, King Of Kings, And Lord Of Lords.17 And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God;That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great. 19 And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army. And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.

It's said nature hates a vacuum but God, as he was considered in Israel did too.
The key idea is vigilance.
Changing anything in yourself or in the world requires vigilance.
Just maintaining means victory sometimes.

That is also ASSuming that God is always joyful. He obviously isn't since he himself says he's prone to anger, vengefulness etc. Not aspects of joy imo.

The Bible speaks about the saints entering into their eternal “ rest”. Now it’d be kinda like retirees thatve spent their lifespan working and learning everyday. But then they retire and soon grow tired of the lack of activity like what they’ve been used to. So they look for things to do and to learn to keep their minds and bodies busy. The difference being, in eternity there will be no deadlines to make one nervous about getting something finished nor will their be things like wild storms and 500 year floods to delay or completely cancel out some intended activity, etc As to building houses, etc. Being in a constant leaf or bough tabernacle would be alright as there is no severity of temperatures, wind, ice, snow etc to have to worry about. The feasts of the tabernacles are the feasts that will be celebrated during Jesus’ millennial reign. I'm sure there will be plenty to do at first. But like retirement, after a period of time you're just done and ready to go. But if what you believe is true and you never get to escape consciousness, it would eventually become pure hell! That's how I see it anyway. Why do people want to exist forever anyway? What is the tremendous draw it seems to have? I am more than happy to just end when I die. I see no value in continuing forever. If I were to remain after you have gone I for one would miss your ability to communicate in a clear, concise, logical manor on a variety of subjects. So please don't go running off and leave me here to sort through all this confusion on my own.

That is TRUE but once he put Satan in the lake of fire forever and all of his followers on earth with him, then God will ONLY KNOW happiness and joy. The chief trouble maker is gone forever, the time of peace and joy will go on forever. God has no more enemy to worry about, no need to be upset, angry, revenge to be needed.

Then New heaven and earth would be HELL again if those guys ever get out. God throws away the key in the lake of fire with them, so they can't get out ever again. ONLY God can kill the spirits so, He might. God said He will take care of them and they won't bother anyone ever again.

NOW he intercedes with the Father and shares with him the trials of being human. Daily.

Those who identified the church they now attend showed they are open and confident and anyone who is considering leaving the 2x2 group can make comparisons and contacts if they so choose to..
So why is it that some of the most vocal ex 2x2 members continually evade answering even simple questions such as naming the church they now attend?
Their evasion is even more puzzling given they have previously highlighted the tendency for workers and other 2x2 members to avoid answering questions and their comments regarding the refusal to answer questions include:
- they don't answer because they are not supported by scripture - that 2x2 are taught not to question -that those who ask the questions don't have the right spirit - the person ignored questions because he only wants to promote his own views/interests ( on TMB) - that Jesus encouraged questioning and provided answers in contrast to the 2x2 practice
The practice of ignoring or evading questions by some ex-2x2's, who have been outspoken in their opposition of this same behaviour in the 2x2's, is probably explained by the same reasons listed above?

ONLY God can kill the spirits so, He might. God said He will take care of them and they won't bother anyone ever again. The fact you believe that your god has human emotions is very telling. Most Christians believe my God/Christ incarnates in the human person Jesus that lived on the earth 2000 yrs ago to die for our sins. He will return again to rule and reign on the earth. This event was foretold by Enoch, the great grandfather of Noah and promised by Jesus also.
Jude 14-15 And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.
Jesus said in John 14:1-3 " Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also."

Maybe. Christian confidence isnt a perfect thing. The minute we say we're saved by Jesus we add that we're saved by our faith. Well that is a work, or a mental exercise or feat. Some of us manifest ourselves more capable that others. At this point we're back to square one in terms of a theology: Namely, our salvation is based upon our behavior or works.

It was the angels that knew and lived with God that were upset with God, enough to start a war. What's to stop more angels in the future from doing the very same thing? Just because Jesus now knows what it's like to be human really doesn't address the unhappy states of his angels. I don't see the connection.

The fact you believe that your god has human emotions is very telling. This is a common mistake humans make. Putting God in their image and not understanding we’re made in his, spirits. So all the emotions God has, anger, disappointment wrath etc. aren't really human feelings, they are Godly feelings? If we're like him then why is it when we get angry, or jealous or disappointed people say they are human feelings then?

Just because Jesus now knows what it's like to be human really doesn't address the unhappy states of his angels. I don't see the connection. Satan started the war because he wanted to be God! The angels Satan had with him are those who had been assigned to help him as he had been a major angel. Their loyalties were with Satan. It says that God’s angels(Michael the arch angel and his angels) won the war in heaven by “they overcame him(Satan) by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. Everything changed when Jesus was crucified. His blood cleanses the sinners, frees the captives, overcomes Satan and his angels( note Michael had his angels also). Having suffered being tempted just as any human is, Jesus’ intercession with the Father is ladened with understanding. He s could say to the Father when the Father is angry over some human’s sins, “ But Father! I died so that sin is covered by my blood and our forgiveness.”

We have spirits too that harbor these same feelings but we use human reasonings.
