well that might be one interpretation of the story but it wouldn't necessarily be fact.....you can go to any grave you want and its not full of unbearable heat and depending on how and when you were buried it maybe wet or not also the same for the worms that dieth not....its to my understanding that paradise was hell adjacent with a chasm between the two.... Paradise is heaven. Abraham’s bosom in the grave was a place of safe keeping for those who had been godly during their lives on earth. Yet they were captives in the grave “until” Jesus visited them in the belly of the earth, preached the gospel to them, released their spirits and they followed a Hesus into Paradise after his ascension. www.blueletterbible.org/faq/don_stewart/don_stewart_149.cfmJoh_3:13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven. paradise isn't heaven and lazarus was clearly in paradise/abrahams bosom BEFORE Christ resurrected... www.devotions.com/2011/01/bible-indicates-paradise-was-once-part-of-hades.html

What a screw-up of ignorance. Sorry - it's just insufferably disputable. It's a screw-up of ignorance because you are a doubting Thomas, an unbeliever and living under the rock.Pinnochio strikes again.

King David knew that the graves or Sheol or Hades was where people were put when they die. And that their flesh would rot and decay away. He knew that because there had been graves where nothing but bones were found years after burial of a body. He didn’t say “hell” as Christians speak of it now. Those verses are speaking to the fact that God’s Son’s body would not seek corruption or rot and decay as is usual. Other words David was foretelling about Jesus’ resurrection! The children of Israel knew nothing about the “hell” of which Christians speak of these days. *** Adam and Eve knew where HADES was because that where their souls would end up after death because of their sins in partake the forbidden fruit/Serpent/Satan. Adam and Eve must have told their children of their DARK fate in HADES and about the coming Messiah/Christ who died for the sins of humanity to deliver theirs souls from Hades. Genesis 3:15 King David had a Revelation after Jesus/Messiah had paid the the ransom price on Calvary, his Spirit went to Hades to rescue all Old Testament believers who were STUCKED there because of sins. God the Father raised up Jesus and all of the believers STUCK in Hades and HE opened heaven to Welcome all of them home. No, Adam and Eve understood they’d be captives of death and bound in the grave. As were all people, until Jesus descended into the belly of the earth, preached the gospel to the graves(Hades,Sheol) captive people that’d been God-fearing people while alive in earth. The “HELL “ that is eternal is the lake or pit of fire. There really is NO hell like a punishment place until after the resurrection. The story of Lazarus and the rich man is not about living in Paradise in Abraham’s bosum; it’s about the fact that those who will be saved are Abraham’s children whether they’re Gentile or Jew. The idea of a feast was the fact the Jews ate with their head resting on their next lying neighbor at feasts. This speaks to the nurturing of peace and hope that comes to those who were godly in earthly life but still were captives by death in the graves, Hades, Sheol. They could not go to Paradise until after Jesus was crucified for the sins of the world and was resurrected himself. Death held them captive in the grave but nurtured on Abraham’s bosom with hope. The Bible says not all of Israel is God’s Israel. Jesus told the people that Abraham was glad to see his day. Abraham had received the promise of Christ, and from his captivity in death’s grave he saw the birth of Jesus and was glad!

It's a screw-up of ignorance because you are a doubting Thomas, an unbeliever and living under the rock. i think you said this : King David had a Revelation after Jesus/Messiah had paid the the ransom price on Calvary.... Peter wrote the blood of the Lamb/Jesus was SHED BEFORE the foundation for sins of humanity.you probably should have said this: King David had a Revelation THAT Jesus/Messiah WOULD PAY the the ransom price on Calvary most probably understood what you said but some around here will sting you on technicalities.... Thanks, Wally.... I know what you are saying and I agree with you... The Old Testament believers had a revelation that the Messiah was going to pay the ransom price for their sins, and they had waited in Hades for him to come and rescue them from that place and take them to heaven to be with God and Christ.

Paradise has always been in heaven. Jesus’ death and resurrection was the victory over death that had made captives out of those who’d died and were buried in graves. They had to hear the gospel in order to be saved. So Jesus descended into the belly of the earth and preached the gospel to those who’s been godly during their life in earth. Other words, they weren’t “saved” until after Jesus visited them in the graves because they had not heard the gospel story “finished.” We can’t precede them, they had to go the same process we all do though they were held safely in Abraham’s bosum until after Jesus was crucified for the sins of the world. They could not have been in Paradise because they had not been covered by the blood of the Lamb. Wally. Think about it! Paradise is in heaven. Edit: How can you figure Paradise is where someone is captive in a grave, though his head is was on Abraham’s bosom. That doesn’t make sense. Or you dont know what Paradise is.

Satan keeps all humans souls in the inner earth/Paradise or Abraham's bosom where ALL the Old Testament SAVED believers dwelt until Jesus came to rescue them from there and take them to paradise in heaven. Hades is in Paradise where the unbelievers like the Rich man stays until the judgment day to be judged by God and Christ.
At Calvary's Cross, Jesus said to the REPENT thief, "Today thou shall be with me in Paradise/That is inner/below the earth where all souls must go AFTER death. Jesus died and his Spirit went to HADES so he could rescue all the believers who had been there since Adam and Eve.
Wally, is correct. No soul of mankind has entered the paradise in heaven before Jesus had paid the ransom price on Calvary. ALL humans souls believers and unbelievers MUST go to HADES! paradise in the inner earth for believers= Abraham's bosom. The unbelievers go to wait in the place of torments, sufferings and regrets like the Rich man had experienced.
The bodies go to the grave/Sheol and return back to dust but the souls go to paradise inside the inner earth for believers as a temporary place to dwell or Hades for unbelievers to dwell inside the inner earth! until they face the judgment of God and Christ wrath.

Wally and Nathan. Isaiah 61:1-3 The office of Christ
“The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives(preach the gospel), and the opening of the prison to them that are bound: To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heavin as; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.”

Everybody else that died was put in a grave. Those who’s been god-fearing were resting on Abraham’s bosom because he was held captive there also. The temperature is 72 degree all year round, and that was why Adam and Eve were NAKED because the temperature is perfect and they didn't need any clothes to wear inside the inner earth.
After they sinned God cast them to the surface of the earth, before sending them to the surface God killed some animals to make clothes for them to wear because on the surface the temperature is HOT during the days and COLD at nights (type the sacrificial Lamb of God/Jesus had to be killed to cover for their sins).
Luke 16 was Christ/God given us humans a glimpse of what is INSIDE the INNER earth! Souls of men and women are HELD captive by Satan. That is one of the main reasons He came down from heaven to die for our sins so HE can SET US FREE from there/Hades.

Jesus did go to heaven on the first day of the week, the day he result. He told Mary to tell his brethren that he was as going to their God and his God, etc. Then later the same day in the evening he appeared to his Apostles. He had to have gone because he had to present himself as the blood sacrifice for sins. Also he had to lead those souls from thiose graves at some time to heaven. He had to go first as he was the first born of the dead. This is why those captive souls in Abraham’s bosum as well as Abraham Himself were captives of the grave by death. Jesus had to rise and enter heaven first as the firstborn of the dead.

You’re the one who doesn’t comprehend about Paradise. Eden was closed off with a flaming sword, so it’s out of the picture. Paradise is where all is peaceful, calm and still and Irest beneath his care. We do not have rest until we enter into heaven after death on earth.

The Garden of Eden (Hebrew: גַּן־עֵדֶן – gan-ʿḖḏen), also called Paradise, is the biblical "garden of God" described in the Book of Genesis and the Book of Ezekiel.[2][3] Genesis 13:10 refers to the "garden of God",[4] and the "trees of the garden" are mentioned in Ezekiel 31.[5][5] The Book of Zechariah and the Book of Psalms also refer to trees and water without explicitly mentioning Eden.[6]
The name derives from the Akkadian edinnu, from a Sumerian word edin meaning "plain" or "steppe", closely related to an Aramaic root word meaning "fruitful, well-watered".[3] Another interpretation associates the name with a Hebrew word for "pleasure"; thus the Douay-Rheims Bible in Genesis 2:8 has the wording "And the Lord God had planted a paradise of pleasure" rather than "a garden in Eden". The Hebrew term is translated "pleasure" in Sarah's secret saying in Genesis 18:12.[7]

The Garden of Eden (Hebrew: גַּן־עֵדֶן – gan-ʿḖḏen), also called Paradise, is the biblical "garden of God" described in the Book of Genesis and the Book of Ezekiel.[2][3] Genesis 13:10 refers to the "garden of God",[4] and the "trees of the garden" are mentioned in Ezekiel 31.[5][5] The Book of Zechariah and the Book of Psalms also refer to trees and water without explicitly mentioning Eden.[6] The name derives from the Akkadian edinnu, from a Sumerian word edin meaning "plain" or "steppe", closely related to an Aramaic root word meaning "fruitful, well-watered".[3] Another interpretation associates the name with a Hebrew word for "pleasure"; thus the Douay-Rheims Bible in Genesis 2:8 has the wording "And the Lord God had planted a paradise of pleasure" rather than "a garden in Eden". The Hebrew term is translated "pleasure" in Sarah's secret saying in Genesis 18:12.[7] Pleasure and Paradise are very different words

You STILL don't get it or comprehend what is going on. It was in the Garden of Eden/Paradise INNER earth WHERE Adam and Eve forfeit their SOULS and all of their human children souls to Satan! He became god of all humans souls. And that is WHERE Satan keeps all souls there until the day of judgment. Well, Jesus came down from heaven and paid for our sins on Calvary so he has FREE the Old Testament believers and the New Testament believers souls do NOT go HADES but after death but our souls go directly to be with Christ and God the Father.
I do get what went on. When one is held captive, it sure cannot be Paradise. That’s as simple as 1-2-3!

Paradise on earth is the Garden of Eden and that is INSIDE the inner earth. I have told you folks for years, God has created the earth within the earth... Like the baby in the Mother's womb or the baby chick within the egg. So, Billions intelligence beings who God has created on/in zillions planets in each Galaxy can live on the inside and also on the surface if the temperature allows to do so.

Actually as far as facts go it's more likely to be false.

This is Spanish for "what will be, will be." This is something you say when you are stuck in a hopelessly unchangeable situation, but have come to accept, or even embrace the unchangeability of it all. This is similar to the phrase "It is what it is."

In Ezekiel 47 we read about the healing of those waters except for the marshes and Mirey places. This is when Jesus reigns his millennial reign. The tree(s) of life will heal the waters, they are evergreen, bearing fruit 12 months of the year. The leaves are also the healing of the nation’s. Abraham’s bosom is a place of comfort for those who had faith in God’s promise to Abraham about the coming Messiah. Some people call it a paradise but it does not match the descriptions of Paradise. Jesus said that the Son was in the Father’s bosom while he was on earth. He could not have been there physically because he was on earth physically. Being in someone’s bosom is a phrase that one is held in love there. It doesn’t mean one is in Paradise or actually in that person’s bosom. As Abraham had full and strong faith that God’s promise of Messiah would come, those that had faith like Abraham rested in Abraham’s bosom. A place of comfort. The believers in God’s promise to Abraham about a Messiah had to wait and hear Jesus’ gospel which means he had been crucified and their sins were forgiven them. They couldn’t be saved without the blood sacrifice of the Messiah. They were saved “by faith” but many didn’t see or know their salvation for many years so they rested on Abraham’s bosom or rested on their faith that the Messiah would save them bound in the graves by death. The difference is they were saved “by” faith, those since Jesus’ day are saved “through” faith. But all have to be washed by the blood of the Lamb.
