simpleton I have no clue who you are. You come across to me like a fella not a female. Does God have a gender? And does it matter? The character of god has both female and male characteristics. There is no gender to the almighty as far as I can asertain. I was referring to you having a female face. It doesnt matter really. Im old school and think that I should behave on here as I do face to face. I couldnt pull off acting a bloke and frankly find it amusing when people try it on. Vice versa. |

I am almost sure it is not that worker, he would not redicule the friends and the fellowship and elderly folks in that manner. Reminds me of what is written in Matthewv7: 3-5 "And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in tine own eye?" People living in glass houses should be wary of throwing stones. There is a good reason for that. However, human nature being what it is, we are very careless in observing and dealing with such matters. |

God is love God loves all men.
Men are responsible for evil not God.
But, if God ordanied ALL things, even before the Earth was made, then God KNEW all that would happen, how evil would prevail and many of mankind would suffer extreme pain from illness and abuse.

Well I rekon that the friends and workers have got it easy. We all should be glad that the teachings of the church are so open and the restrictions of lifestyle and dress are a matter for the individual

I dont know of anyone on this forum who particularly condones Islamic lifestyles; I think the ex friends have a right to tell of their experiences and to point out failures; that is how we learn of mistakes and are in a position to investigate and correct them if necessary in order to make any necessary improvements and encourage others to stay in. Admittedly some folks are bitter and may be justifiably so because of the treatment meted out to them by others. Before we pass judgment on others, we should get hold of and examine all available evidence, then place ourselves in their shoes, so to speak, and then form an opinion as to what we consider to be right or wrong. |

I do put myself in the shoes of one who once professed and now questions the bible and all it represents.
I too cannot understand why people choose to "love" a God who killed at will and to prove a point. I cannot understand a man tying up his son to kill as a sacrifice to his God. I cannot understand how Job could ever forgive a god who killed his wife and children.
My concerns are not with the friends or the workers it is my inability to come to terms with the meaning and the purpose of life.
And I dislike intensely the sanctimonious attitude of those self proclaimed intellectuals who attack the workers and praise their pastors

There has indeed been many times I have barely been able to survive. Even surgeons have no idea why I am still alive. Just my lot in life, and no, I have no idea why. Been unable to drive safely for a number of years now, so to avoid harming another, I no longer do so, lest I pass out while driving. Most of my problems have been traced back to Q-A exposure. I have no idea why two women have loved me so.
On the other hand, I KNOW why I love(d) them. Wonderful souls, great people. No, I have not deserved them! Pain keeps me awake at the moment, and I do not abuse my narcotics waiting (rather impatiently) until time arrives to take the next prescribed dose. Spend many hours and even days without human contact. Working now on training little "Tyke's" daughter. In so many ways she is much like him. Katie has given up on all our other livestock.
Yes, Others have it much worse than myself, I know, nobody has to point that out to me.
