I knew you were sick, I didn't you were so bad, I'm so sorry that you are in so much pain Dennis. I pray that God strengthens you. Katie must be a God send. God bless! Thank you, ma'am. Perhaps "decrepit" is a better word than "sick" which implies a possibility of getting well. This is a one way trip down hill! Smile, once I was young and strong, no longer. The grasshopper is becoming a burden.
The pain results from peripheral neuropathy, autonomic neuropathy, untreated spinal injury while a worker, pedestrian victim of an uninsured drunken driver and subsequent arthritis from many injuries.
Yes, I have been saying Katie was/is an answer to prayers for over five years. Indeed, she IS a Godsend to me. She is away today for continuing education.
Thank you for the blessing.

Since Rational has equated me to Simpleton, guess he figures people must beware of me also. Would that be an ad hominen attack? First let's look at the post to which you are referring: @simpleton and you should get together. I understand he has degrees from 3 colleges, one of them an Ivy League school! In no way does this equate you with @simpleton. Since each of you has posted your accomplishments regarding your education I was suggesting you might have enough in common that getting together would be enjoyable. I am certain that people can make up their minds regarding other posters. The probability of me making an ad hominem argument is close to zero. If you are going to quote, please do so accurately.

How is the health Dennis?? You have been at deaths door for many many years. I guess you come from hardy stock Thank you for asking. Mostly bedridden, sometimes able to walk a few steps, rarely without twin arm canes. Every trip to the VA facility reminds me how fortunate I am. Yes, hardy stock, mother died just shy of 91, father only a little past 92. I am on about 16 medications which keep me alive, controlling severe pain well enough to keep me from choosing the "death with dignity" route.
There has indeed been many times I have barely been able to survive. Even surgeons have no idea why I am still alive. Just my lot in life, and no, I have no idea why. Been unable to drive safely for a number of years now, so to avoid harming another, I no longer do so, lest I pass out while driving. Most of my problems have been traced back to Q-A exposure. I have no idea why two women have loved me so.
On the other hand, I KNOW why I love(d) them. Wonderful souls, great people. No, I have not deserved them! Pain keeps me awake at the moment, and I do not abuse my narcotics waiting (rather impatiently) until time arrives to take the next prescribed dose. Spend many hours and even days without human contact. Working now on training little "Tyke's" daughter. In so many ways she is much like him. Katie has given up on all our other livestock.
Yes, Others have it much worse than myself, I know, nobody has to point that out to me.
DJSo sorry to hear, Dennis, although it is nice in a way to understand the specifics. Thank you for telling us. Sweet to hear your gratitude.

He haw Dennis. Who is the donkey??? Have you forgotten? I think you are, since you are using it as your identification. No shame in it, Jesus rode on one, and in scripture one was able to talk.
