Hi @partaker , not really wondering, just that I'm sure it was you that advised me to press the ignore button some time ago, then just a few days ago you did a 'note to self' on a similar idea.
My thoughts are shim, simpleton, is already alive and well on this forum and under the new name behaves slightly worse than most are used to under 'shims' usual identity.
Pretty or not the simpletons are probably here to stay in some form or another.....what can be noted is from the intended discord of simpleton's posts a beautiful harmony has been the result.

simpletons u are rightly named. u need to think about your getting to the older set. in fact wash out your mouth, i would advise a good brand of soap. u see i do have a measure of kindness. but dont miss with our older set. lol What makes you think that age entitles you to more respect than otherwise? I'm very curious as to your logic. I tend to think that age allows for all your faults to be visible. All your selfishness. Says the young one, whose faults and selfishness are yet to be revealed  |

It's a fabulous way to start a relationship. I so do love the aging gracefully crowd - or as they are known around my place, the greedy healthcare-gouging refusing-to-die crowd. You say you believe in God. Yet this post shows that even though you say you know him, you don't! No one belonging to God would say those things. How many of you have an entire thread spanning over months dedicated 100% to you? Seems to me that I'm quite a celebrity on this this forum. The amount of mental resources and time you all have spent on me is incredible - speaks to your boring lives and to my brilliance. Many thanks! Actually you should be thanking me for all that I've brought into your lives. Gene in particular is so hot and bothered about me that he wants to try to pick me up in a bar. Partaker is so consumed with me that he has moved from not participating to setting up an account just to be able to interact with me. The clue to Simpleton's short fuse is possibly pretty simple. On the topic kneeling to pray, Simpleton's encouragement to participate in painful worship indicates this is his forte.
Simpleton presents as if he is in pain: irritability; irrational thought processes; quick to anger; intolerance of others; anti-social tendencies.
Just picture him sitting at his computer on a bed of nails, with one poor hand submerged in bubbling, boiling liquid whilst reciting the beatitudes or Gregorian chants (google may have fed me the wrong info there), these punctuated with the bitter responses he types using his one able and free hand.
I propose we show this person some compassion; we may not agree with his mortifying style of worship, but when you consider this as a plausible reason for his abrasive, even volatile character, it does makes you feel sad for him.

However, I doubt it was because of your "brilliance."
Many people draw a lot of attention to themselves.
However, it isn't because of their "brilliance," or desirable qualities.
According to the list of people who had the most written about them, Stalin of was 8th. Mao was 12th and Hitler (remember him?) was number 13th.
So, it really isn't important how much you were noticed but why you are paid any attention.
Then there are some people who really do see themselves as "brilliant", intelligent etc.
They have a mental problem known as Narcissistic personality disorder or Megalomania.

For years and years I have visited these boards and it is reasonable to say that I have been astonished by the lack of humility and Christian grace that many, professing and non-professing, display in there posts.
Bert and Nathan are not "normal" professing folk. I think workers would be applauded by their posts.
Many of the so called exes display a complete lack of Christian goodwill toward professing people. Many display arrogance and self gratification in a bid to show how intelligent they are and how much more enlightened they have become.
Many are yet to find a denomination that is suitable to there high standards.
How some are so entwined in wanting to know what saints and workers are doing completely mistifies me.
For Elizabeth Colman to be interested in the monatory affairs of the friends and workers is completely and utterly "non of her business".
You walker away. Stay away and mind your own business.

You must understand that 2x2ism is founded and comprised of lies - very visible lies. The lies about no human founder, the lies about the Gospel stipulating only pair-wise ministers, the lies about the denial of the trinity, the lies about grace, etc. All of these lies are extremely easy to discover by a little bit of reading. Heck, even just a once over reading of the Gospel of John would set all of these lies afire. So, when 2x2s do not acknowledge that these lies exist, it is extremely dogmatic of 2x2s. That non-rational dogmatism is very frustrating for everyone else. How is it possible to have a rational discourse with someone who refuses to accept the Gospels as being more important than 2x2 'doctrine'? Obviously, it's impossible. And so, I'd say that by 2x2s being dogmatic and intellectually dishonest, they elicit anger and frustration in others. Many ex-2x2s just want to help their former brothers and sisters read the Gospels for what they are, but 2x2s refuse to do even that. It's an impossible situation. |
