Let me clarify... I didn't believe in Christianity/Jesus/God from birth to the age of 17. I became a Christian at the age of 18. Given your gullibility regarding the considerable number of paranormal stories and logic/natural law defying ideas you embrace it does not surprise me that you easily accepted the paranormal story of christianity at age 18.

What paranormal are you talking about? I had personal experiences with the Almighty God, and it was so real that it changed my course in life from an ancestor worship, and Buddhism to a Christian. Do know how difficult it is for a Buddhist to become a Christian? You have no clues what you're talking about.
If you continue to hardened your heart against the Almighty God, He will hardened his heart, then you know what happened to Pharaoh in the Old Testament, he end up in the bottom of the Red Sea.
Nathan, is it wise to threaten people with your God?

Nathan, is it wise to threaten people with your God? NOT a threat but it's the truth and is the outcome for the unbelievers, the tares vs the wheat; the Sheep vs the goats.
Hebrews 3:12-19 Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.
13 But exhort one another daily, while it is called Today; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.
14 For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;
15 While it is said, Today if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.
16 For some, when they had heard, did provoke: howbeit not all that came out of Egypt by Moses.
17 But with whom was he grieved forty years? was it not with them that had sinned, whose bodies fell in the wilderness?
18 And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not?
19 So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.
It sounds like a threat to me Nathan. After all, all the Christian God is, is your belief. That doesn't make it true. So anything that is quoted from the bible is suspect also. It seems counterproductive if you want people to believe in your God, to threaten them with his wrath and unreasonableness.

What paranormal are you talking about?Alien beings that you claim live underground on Venus would be considered a paranormal belief. It is not normal, NathanB.This is what you believe. There is nothing you can offer to verify your story any more than a christian becoming a serial killer because god told them kill. NathanB, you have to know that as the result of not believing in any deity or deities I also do not fear them.

It seems counterproductive if you want people to believe in your God, to threaten them with his wrath and unreasonableness. It is a loving, kindness warning NOT meant as a threat... In Acts 9:5 God/Jesus said to Saul, who persecuted his followers, Then the Lord said, “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting. It is hard for you to kick against the goads.”It is a threat. It is the same threat that christianity has used for centuries on the 'stick' side of the 'carrot and stick' equation. "If you turn your back on god he will turn his back on you and damn you for all eternity." Out of love s/he will sentence you to the most pain that humans can imagine. Is there a difference between eternal life and eternal death? Can eternal anything be a good thing?

Alien beings that you claim live underground on Venus would be considered a paranormal belief. It is not normal, NathanB Nothing is normal when it comes to the LIVING God. God/they are NOT normal beings. You're a human being, who don't believe in the existence of God so you don't believe in paranormal, supreme beings, angels, devil, fallen angels, ETs. Exactly.. They are abnormal and if I was not responding to you I would not have seen just how crazy the things people can sell to the gullible.

Is there a difference between eternal life and eternal death? Eternal life= Live forever with joy and happiness Eternal life= Die forever with sorrow and regrets Dying is not a long term event. And all evidence points to the conclusion that we indeed do die forever. (I assume your post contained a typo) I think that says it all. It was a story, not a description of anything.

Nathan there are many profound mysteries in the world. I mentioned one to you regards how Tarzan got into the hollow earth. One which interested me, once, was that crocodile in Peter Pan (you know, Tic Toc.) He swallowed an alarm clock and it kept on ticking for years. Everyone could tell when Tic Toc was nearby because they could hear the clock through the Tic Toc's body, and through the water. Like, how was it wound up every day? Any ideas? Here's the actual video www.youtube.com/watch?v=OjlSAEgeTo4

Exactly.. They are abnormal and if I was not responding to you I would not have seen just how crazy the things people can sell to the gullible. Anyone can read about God, angels, the devil, and the fallen angels, the hybrid race of Nephilim in the Bible. Millions, billions of people on earth have read it, many believe it. Yes, I can read about all that, I read about a lot of things, both fiction & non-fiction.
I read myself to sleep every night.
However, I don't believe everything that I read

Nathan doesn't believe everything he reads either. Otherwise he would now know and understand that there is no hollow earth or gold mines on the moon etc.

Maybe because of the color? The moon is made of yellow cheese not blue cheese and from earth it can look a bit like gold, don't you think?

Yes colour might have something to do with it. Sometimes the moon does have a bit of a yellow tinge to it. Now and again I have seen a red moon, there was a cracker one last year. I think that is caused when the gold miners on the moon have a riot about the pay not being delivered on time and there is that much blood spilt that the surface is just covered in blood. Hence from earth we see a red moon.

How did the tree living, eucalyptus eating, slow moving, Australian Koala get from Ararat to Australia? How did the South American tree sloth get from Ararat down to South America?

Why did he destroy so many innocent animals and birds and fish? the ark was noahs testimony to his faithfulness to Gods word... i dont think he destroyed the fish but as to the animals and birds God obviously wanted a clean slate with just a remnant saved again noahs testimony was taking care of said animals and birds while in the ark.

Well I'm saying fish too because if you mix fresh water with salt water, and the fish are used to either or, they likely died too? After all the entire globe was supposed to be covered with water so that would mean all the water that existed would be mixed wouldn't it? God didn't know before hand Noah was faithful? I still don't see any reason he had to drown all those innocent animals. If I was God and I could move animals around at will, I would have picked a piece of earth, put them all there, fed them and kept them alive until it was time to move them back to their various continents of origin.

Salt water fish would have not had the time to adapt to the infusion of the fresh water and the fresh water fish would have balked at the salt. When Noah was loading all the animals that breathed air into the ark did anyone see the whales and/or dolphins? They would have been difficult to keep alive!

Then how did they survive after they got out of the ark? Everything would have been destroyed. Even if they took seeds on board with them they would have to wait for any of it to grow so they could eat. Why do some versions say that Noah took 7 each and another version says he took 2 of each. The story is a revamp of the Sumarian myth of the great flood which was taken from earlier sources, likely oral in nature. I have no problem believing the region had a great flood, but the whole world? No way I can believe that. www.livius.org/fa-fn/flood/flood2.html Noah's family brought a lot of food in the Ark, so they had plenty of food to survive after the flood of water is gone. The story world wide flood is found around the world.en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_flood_mythswww.earthage.org/EarthOldorYoung/scientific_evidence_for_a_worldwide_flood.htm en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_flood_mythsYes, that is interesting, Nathan.
Notice they are MYTHS
wiki "The flood myths or deluge myths are, taken collectively, stories surviving from human prehistory, of a great flood which has generally been taken as mythical. These legends depict global flooding, usually sent by a deity or deities to destroy civilization as an act of divine retribution. Flood stories are common across a wide range of cultures, extending back into prehistory."

We are all doomed when we start quoting Wiki. I have been trying for some time to modify the entry on camels in the bible - without success. No matter I present my case that camels were domesticated centuries before Abraham.
Remember, Wiki type people say that there were no camel trains back then, no King David, no Solomon, no knowledge of the Iron Age, no nation of Israel 1000 BC, no such thing as racial Jews etc etc etc etc..
ps re flood story "borrowed from Sumer" Abraham himself hailed from Sumer. The bible didn't need to "borrow" stories - it was Sumerian itself at an early stage.

Quote - "You're confusing me greatly. If the Bible didn't need to borrow stories, then why did it borrow stories. Who said they were original Hebrew stories to begin with?"
The people of the bible were firstly Sumerian, then Hebrew, then Jew, then Gentile. Thus the bible's stories are about those people. A Jew didn't "borrow" stories from a Hebrew. A Christian didn't "borrow" stories from the Jews. And Hebrews, Jews and Gentiles didn't "borrow" stories from Sumer.
It's a kind of trinity thing - Sumer, Israel and the Whole World.
