For me, at least. .. They even teach to turn the other cheek to people like uoY.
Very funny. Perhaps you could tell us all what the workers teach about grace.

Suffice to say that by many of their living example they have taught me a lot.

In that case, perhaps you could share with us what YOUR beliefs are regarding grace; IE what YOU have been taught.

Maybe a new thread would be better . Personally, I would rather observe the practice of the preacher, than to hear the endless rhetoric, even though some of it helps.

"The only passage in the entire bible that explicitly delineates the doctrine of the Trinity is found in 1 John 5:7-8. However these verses are not authentic. It came from a homily in the 8th century and was added to a Latin text and wasnt even translated into Greek until 1520. However the Council of Constantinople and AD 381 and Chalcedon in AD 451 emerged with explicit statements affirming the Trinity." (this comes from Daniel Wallace who is the worlds leading expert in ancient Greek and director of textual criticism at the Center for the Study of New Testament Manuscripts) The bible however does contain these four truths: 1. The Father is God 2. Jesus is God 3. The Holy Spirit is God 4. There is only ONE God. Therefore the 3 must be ONE. Yes, I agree... but I will continue on to say.
Godhead= God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. These THREE Divine Beings are separate individual but One in harmony, One in purpose, and One in Unity.
Jesus like Adam and Eve... Two shall become ONE flesh ! It is a very beautiful to behold when a husband and the wife are two different human beings but they become ONE in Love, One in unity and One in harmony.
Likewise with God the Father, God the Son Jesus and God the Holy Spirit.... 3 separate Beings but ONE God in Love, One in harmony, and One in Unity. (I John 5:7,8)
Ignatius: (A.D. 105) Jesus Christ was with the Father before the ages, and in the end, He was revealed.
Justin Martyr: (A.D. 160) The Son of God is older than all His creatures so that He was a Fellow-Counselor with the Father in His work of creation. This is He who existed before ALL, who is the eternal Priest of God before the ages.
Melito: (A.D. 170) We worshippers of His Christ, who is truly God the Word, existing before all time. Being at once both God and perfect man, He gave us sure indications of His two natures.. He concealed the signs of His Deity! although he was the true God existing before all ages.

There are so many apparent contradictions as to this question. Jesus talks about Him & The Father as One, and then prays to His Father as if His Father is outside of him. There are many of the faithful, as well as theologians who will read the very same scriptures...and come up with something different. Do you really think it essential for salvation to come up with the right answer?

I sure hope it isn't, because I can't seem to come up with the answer. To be quite honest, it all just confuses me! I've tried and tried to understand this concept and I can't. I've prayed about it and still no revelation. So, I've accepted that this is something I don't understand. I mean, I know all the scriptures that point to this, but my feeble human mind can't comprehend it!

'Ask and it will be given unto you.' Or does that not apply to this matter?

Or, "If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you." Anyone rearrange their local geography lately?

I guess my faith is that of one tenth of one atom of a mustard seed . . . or less. The only way I move material is with a skidsteer.
