Over and over again I see Nathan posting as if those who have departed are all just trying to pick apart the F&W. I see some very slight of hand in Nathans answers. I find many Nathans responses hypocritical on the forum. Now being from OR I have first hand knowledge of Nathan telling F&W that he believes the TTT website and this forum to be of the devil and those exes who post here are fallen away and of the devil. He believe that God made these sites to pull away the tares. He has told friends that more then once. I wonder why he continues to have contact with tares who he considers lost? Nathan you are not honest with others nor with the friends.

wait wait wait a minute.
Ex-2x2s are your brothers and sisters in Christ? You say this in reply to a post where it is claimed you said exes are fallen away and are of the devil, without denying the claim?
out of one side of your mouth you call them brothers and sisters in Christ, and out of the other side of your mouth you speak of them, in so many words, as tares.
And no, you are not here to keep in touch with anyone. You are here to defend your set of beliefs and help people not fall into the exes 'trap'.

He loves us like brothers/sisters in Christ, but he can't give straightforward answers to simple questions without twisting words around.
Sorry, I don't buy the "love" comment.

If he loved us he would be forthright, upfront, open, and honest with us. So far I have not seen Nathan be any of these things on here.

There's always three sides to every story eh?
Well, I notice that Nathan isn't like mentioned above. He gets into trouble with a few harsh exclusivists for his comments about "other Christians" such as those on this site.
I've never heard comments from him like you suggest. In fact I suggest that they are false.

We might not agree in our beliefs, understanding anymore but I still consider some of them are my brothers and sisters in Christ. What kind of brothers and sisters in Christ? Worldly? Prodigal? Previously you have stated the former members of the workers' church are cut off from the branch....pruned from the vine by Jesus. Would Jesus prune a believer from the vine?

I've never heard comments from him like you suggest. I agree. I have also never heard comments from Nathan that were not twisted to fit his agenda.

I agree. I have also never heard comments from Nathan that were not twisted to fit his agenda. And you don't have an agenda with your The Lying Truth webiste? To share the truth about the truth with others. Tell me nathan, what is your agenda on these boards?

I never said I didn't have an agenda. Having an agenda in itself is not bad. I see, nathan, by your comment, that you did not deny twisting words to fit your agenda.

Also in John 15:2, it says, "He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit,..."What does this mean? Note that it says every branch IN ME, so we know it is refering to those who are IN HIM, not to unbelievers.
A quote from Bruce Wilkinson's book "Secrets of the Vine" explains:
Quote:"In fact, in both the Bible and in Greek literature, airo never means "cut off"."
He says that a clearer translation would be "lift up" or "take up" as airo is used in Matt. 14:20 referring to the disciples "taking up" the baskets of food.
Quote:"Lifts up" suggests an image of a vinedresser leaning over to lift up a branch. But why?"
In the same book, a vineyard owner in northern California explains:
Quote:"New branches have a tendency to trail down and grow along the ground," he explained. "But they don't bear fruit down there. When branches grow along the ground, the leaves get coated in dust. When it rains, they get muddy and mildewed. The branch becomes sick and useless."
"What do you do? I asked. "Cut it off and throw it away?"
"Oh, no!" he exclaimed. "The branch is much too valuable for that. We go through the vineyard with a bucket of water looking for those branches. We lift them up and wash them off." He demonstrated for me with dark, callused hands. "Then we wrap them around the trellis or tie them up. Pretty soon they're thriving."
As he talked, I could picture Jesus' own hand motions when He taught in the vineyard that night. He was showing how the Father makes sure His crop comes in full and sweet. When the branches fall into the dirt, God doesn't throw them away or abandon them. He lifts them up, cleans them off, and helps them flourish again."
The dust and dirt and mud are like the sin we collect in our lives. It prevents the air and light from getting in.
First Secret of the Vine: If your life consistently bears no fruit, God will intervene to discipline you.
I found the message from the vineyard owner and from Bruce Wilkinson particularly helpful in understanding this passage.
Blessings, Linda

Did you say those words that the first poster wrote Nathan, I notice that you did not deny it.
that "TTT website and this forum to be of the devil and those exes who post here are fallen away and of the devil. He believe that God made these sites to pull away the tares."
Did you say those words to someone else or not Nathan or is the person lying. If exes are of the devil then so are you, because you call us your brothers and sisters.

Nope, I did not say the exes are of the devil. The original comment was: "I have first hand knowledge of Nathan telling F&W that he believes the TTT website and this forum to be of the devil and those exes who post here are fallen away and of the devil. "Nathan, will you also deny saying that exes are "fallen away"?

you are in no position to chastise me anyone for avoiding questions. If you wish to receive an answer from me, then you can answer my question first.

My understanding of the term is irrelevant to your inability to answer. I've given several opportunities for you to reply, and you avoided them each time.

nathan, you are in no position to chastise me anyone for avoiding questions. If you wish to receive an answer from me, then you can answer my question first. How can I answer your question if you don't know what is the meaning of "Fallen away" that you're wanting me to answer? It is claimed that YOU said it... It is not claimed that Ilylo said it... How he defines the word DOES NOT MATTER... How YOU define the word DOES MATTER in the context that YOU may have said it. Do you deny the claim?

How can I answer your question if you don't know what is the meaning of "Fallen away" that you're wanting me to answer? Come on, ilylo..... what's fallen away are you talking about? You asked a question but do you know the meaning of the question are you asking about?
