What are some careers that workers have stated that a "true child of God" wouldn't want to work?
Bars, beauty salons, video stores, TV repair, selling religious books, distilleries, etc.? Some friends buy stocks while others think the stock market is gambling. It's a strange religion, boys!

Christmas Light Installer This is a great seasonal business that specializes in providing the labor for holiday decorations. Once a year an opportunity to make excellent extra money arrives--installing and then later removing decorative outdoor Christmas lights for people who just don't have the time or the energy to do it for themselves. I recently went to a spring dinner party at the home of a distinguished couple in their late 70s. Although it was May, the house was still hung with colored Christmas lights outside. These folks and others like them, busy or not quite in physical shape to remove their own lights, are your target audience.
There are fancy decorating firms who will (at great cost) come in and design a complete holiday fantasy for high-end homes. These companies supply the lights and other decorations that they use. The startup costs and design talent involved with that type of business are extreme, but a market remains for offering your services to the lower end of the holiday spectrum. ;D

I am in fellowship with the F&W (professing to be a Christian) I have a job Operating at a power station, I work 4 on 4 off so miss 2 out of 8 Sunday morning meetings when on days and 4 out of every 8 Sunday eve missions and the same for Wed eve missions when working day and night shifts. I also have a Sunday eve meeting in our home when the missions close over the convention break. I don't have a prob with this and all the workers who have ever been in contact with me don't either.
I know personally Nurses, Doctors, Airline hostesses, pilots, lighting contractor(who specializes in effect lighting such as Christmas lighting), security guard, farmers, Electrical sales people(white-ware, brown-ware, entertainment equipment), Electronic repair technicians, restaurant owners etc etc. All of whom go to meetings and "profess" and all who periodically need to miss meetings and none that I know of have been approached by the workers in any negative way.
It is encouraged to choose a career that doesn't require Sunday work but it is certainly not frowned upon nor received in a negative way at all in this country. I would however expect those that choose to live for the Lord to choose careers that don't encourage or supply things that they themselves don't believe in. To my way of thinking this would be hypocrisy.

Easier to go the other way: what is acceptable.
The work. Health field. Farming or ranching.
Alsmost anything and everything else can be suspect.

It sometimes depends on who the person. The workers treat different people different. We know that soem poeple have a TV adn the workers say nothing while other poeple get the meeting taken out of their home for owning a TV. Not everyone who has a stereo gets told off by workers, some do some don't.
Seems to depned on who the person is adn who the worker is.
Many professing families frown on these occupations.

Even farming can be suspect if the need should arise to work on the fields on Sunday. (although it is OK for cattle farmers to do what needs to be done) The Sunday stop on working in the fields makes "Jesus only is our message" a rather dishonest hymn for 2x2ers to sing!!

Equally reliable are the folks that can't resist a shot at me personally, when the enormous inconsistancy and dishonesty of 2x2 doctrine becomes impossible to explain!!

I know personally a worker who used to be a doctor. Your grammer is awful. You should've said: "I know personally a worker who used to play doctor."
