I have no problem with your definition of pedophilia, and I agree that when it can be defined as such, it is a horrible an extremely destructive disorder Okay. So why post about general sexual improprieties on a thread about pedophilia? The two are entirely unrelated. Your post about something that has nothing to do with the topic at hand, is far from constructive and serves no valid purpose. nancy, Edgar isn't having it both ways. He simply can't seem to help himself when he perceives some sort of chance to jump in and add to the pile - even when what he brings up is of zero value to the issue here . . . which is the criminal act of pedophilia. |

Someone asked about Tim's past. I do know that his father committed suicide after he found out his cancer was terminal. As mentioned, he also stuggled with depression. We received our letter in the mail yesterday.

Not true at all - and there is no basis for your assumption about my supposed issue of bashing "the exes". Take a glance in the looking glass ~ your comments about current members of the fellowship in general stand out as some of the most divisive on this board. And the only one attempting to change the focus here was you and your unrelated-to-the-topic posts earlier. No dreaming here. I'm wide awake. |

Let us address the issue of --sexual misconduct--not just in friend and worker circles but the population in general. What is sexual misconduct? According to the SOTS 11th bylaw, sexual misconduct is inappropriate or deviant sexual behaviour. The severity of the misconduct can range greatly from simple pettiness to molestation to intercourse; behaviour deemed sexual in nature and not consensual between two adults. Sexual misconduct does not always involve physical contact. It can be inappropriate sexual, lewd, or suggestive language which we all know is a show of DISRESPECT!
Sex was created by God to occur between husband and wife for pleasure and procreation. Why is this so hard for people to understand? This is part of why the SOTS was first organized; to bring purity back to SOCIETY and encourage temperence in other areas of livihood, such as alcohol consumption, and lewd activities such as porn and prostitution.
Included in this purpose is the utmost responsibility of the citizenry to ACCURATELY report crimes to the proper authorities. FAILURE to do so only brings further damage to the community we are bound and honored to take care of. We are ALL to be good stewards - not only the land, but of ourselves and of each other. Allowing things to go on that are destructive only attracts moths which bring rust and decay. The body may look fine for awhile, but inside is a slow death.
You might as well just go and stand on the railroad tracks in front of a slow moving train.
Now, on to my other soap box: which is that of false accusations and spreading lies and dirty smut amongst the clergy and congregants of the fellowship. Shame on you if you are making up lies and shame on you if you are accusing one person of sexual misconduct while failing to address your OWN! SHAME , SHAME , SHAME ! SOTS bylaw # 13 states that all reporting of misconduct must be done with the utmost HONOR and INTEGRITY. Examine thyself before taking your grievences to the board of purification.
