Yes, a System-Minded highly respected individual on death row would have to be a wake-up call. They would say that it's the victims fault.

Or, the perpetrator was dumb to get caught - as has been said about other perps in Australia It was said that Bruer should have been more careful with his laptop. God obviously is not good at cleaning laptops and phones or giving instructions to do so. It's more becoming to teach about the length of ones dresses or hair.

The workers that said that, by all accounts one senior, and the other an overseer, raised something interesting. Are there skeletons in their own closet? Are they familiar with clearing a browser cache, or app cache? And if so, why?
What they said really does need to do the rounds, and they deserve to have support withdrawn.
Even if a cache is cleared, it can usually be retrieved with some forensic techniques. I am intimately familiar with a number of cases of this being done, CSA, fraud, and banking are all examples of forensic IT being used.

I have a feeling that wiping a laptop/phone so as to prevent the discovery of a crime would amount to conspiring to pervert the course of justice. In this neck of the woods that is an indictable offence with a maximum penalty of seven years in the slammer. But it will be the victims fault. It always is.

Certainly here, you can get indicted under that clause for flashing your lights to warn an oncoming vehicle about the presence of a cop or camera, even. It's a handy clause, because sometimes when there's little evidence, but you know who cleaned up after a crime, you can pursue that line.
I think some of these older types have no clue what CSA can actually be, and how it can be much much more than an inappropriate touching. I suspect they haven't been confronted with the full details of what can happen, and the damage, both physical and mental, that is done.

Thanks for update. The team are doing a great job [br Interesting- Florida USA has just brought in death penalty for child rape from 1 October. That law is going to be found to be unconstitutional. Not to defend such ofenders at all, but: The US Supreme Court has ruled that you cannot have the death penalty if the victim is not killed.

Likely it will be challenged and will fail for the reasons you have stated. nypost.com/2023/04/19/florida-passes-bill-oking-death-penalty-for-kid-sex-crimes/
