"Thou shalt not murder"...You should quit misleading people Redback... In the 10 commandments my Bible says thou shalt not kill. KJV In the Hebrew and more than a few English translations it is murder. This has been known for decades if not centuries... If in some fantasy it was "kill" that means God directed the Jews to commit many many sins in the OT which would be contrary to the 6th commandment. New International Version “You shall not murder. New Living Translation “You must not murder. English Standard Version “You shall not murder. Berean Study Bible You shall not murder. King James Bible Thou shalt not kill. New King James Version “You shall not murder. New American Standard Bible “You shall not murder. NASB 1995 “You shall not murder. NASB 1977 “You shall not murder. Amplified Bible “You shall not commit murder (unjustified, deliberate homicide). Christian Standard Bible Do not murder. Holman Christian Standard Bible Do not murder. American Standard Version Thou shalt not kill. Aramaic Bible in Plain English You shall not murder. Brenton Septuagint Translation Thou shalt not kill. Contemporary English Version Do not murder. Douay-Rheims Bible Thou shalt not kill. Good News Translation "Do not commit murder. International Standard Version "You are not to commit murder. JPS Tanakh 1917 Thou shalt not murder. Thou shalt not commit adultery. Thou shalt not steal. Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour. Literal Standard Version You do not murder. New American Bible You shall not kill. NET Bible "You shall not murder. New Revised Standard Version You shall not murder. World English Bible "You shall not murder. Young's Literal Translation 'Thou dost not murder.

The workers only allowed the King James version. Guess they still preach from it.
If we kill someone, that is murder.

That was a big mistake, you are now reaping the result of a bad decision. We are doing just fine thank you....We are the most successful country the world has ever seen because of it. This just proves how out of touch with reality some people are. The most successful country where children are not even safe to go to school.... Where people can't even go to Sunday morning meeting without carrying a gun ! Yep doing fine!

"Thou shalt not murder"...You should quit misleading people Redback... There have been many times since Natie was in time out (and now banned) that I could have sworn it was Natie posting under Waldo's name. Obviously someone climbed out from under the rock Natie was sitting on.

It's pleasant not having to wade through the endless lies about hollow planets and secret nazi bases that he had been sucked into believing. There are many con artists out there and one of their most effective tools are the gullible people that repeat their nonsense.

I don't believe that has changed but could be wrong....

So they are given to you or sold to you? Do the workers still try and control what Bibles you have? Do they have their own versions? Reminds me of the JWs who have their own Bible and their congregation has to buy them.

It can be seen as a way to keep members away from Christian bookshops so they don't read anything which might enlighten them. Control tactic. Selling merchant on convention grounds. Sounds like selling in the temple which tables Jesus over turned.

I wonder do they sell swords at convention too? Luke 22.
Do you take your gun there Wally? How many people are there carrying guns in their pocket at convention? Sounds dangerous as anyone can take it when you're asleep.

I've never bought or seen a bible/hymnal being sold at convention or gospel meetings this is done through the workers/friends outside that time frame.

They were always sold from a car trunk which was parked on the convention grounds in front of the meeting tent between meetings on a Sunday. Are you saying they don't do that in the US? How do you buy them then?

How do you buy them then? I’ve never known bibles or hymnals to be sold at the convention I attended growing up. My sister and I were given bibles by one of the workers and my parents were given hymnals. The fact that my parents gave money to the workers probably means they bought and paid for the Bible’s and the hymnals. No?

It just strikes me funny the way you talk about it!

Who protects all the people that stay on the Convention grounds @wally ? Do the owners of the Convention grounds have security guards with guns protecting everyone ?
