Interesting observation about that in this article"It's not that Trump was tougher than President Biden, but that he was more erratic:
"The sheer unpredictably of Trump, his anger at being defied or disrespected, his willingness to take the occasional big risk (the Soleimani strike), all had to make Putin frightened or wary of him in a way that he simply isn't of Joe Biden."

I'd guess China does the same with Taiwan shortly.

I am more of a Hawk than a Dove when it comes to freedom or independence with countries. Can the US police the whole world? Well we used to for about 70 years but with those in charge now probably not.

Well we used to for about 70 years but with those in charge now probably not. If Ukraine in was part of NATO, then the USA along with other NATO force should come to their aid to fight Russia. Short of an all out nuclear war, I don't see how the USA can't protect all the rest of the world all alone. The USA is only about 4% of the global population, China has 5 times more people. By 2030 China is projected to have a larger economy than the USA. The USA's way forward is to cooperate with other NATO countries. The biggest challenge for the USA is to find a mutually beneficial relationship with China. Russia has now cut itself off from the rest of the world. Until Putin dies of old age, or is replaced, only then can the USA and Russia again work together.

Ukraine just recently passed/relaxed the law for their own version of the 2nd amendment to help citizens help their military against the Russians invading forces(too little too late). I suspect after this war(if they win it) is over they'll rescind that or try to.
A very big I told ya so is forthcoming....
Our forefathers were extremely smart....

Putin knows in the USA there are more guns than people, so any invasion of the US by Russia would not be at all like the Ukraine. But what worries me is; During any Russian invasion of America, how many Americans would side with Putin? I think that number is not so small.

Trump could conscript the People's Convoy to provide a fifth column.

Your "Hawk than a Dove" thing did not "throw" me wally.
I would just like to hear a forthright plain statement from YOU, WALLY, -as to what YOU would do different than what President Biden and the U.S are doing in THIS particular situation with this Russia-Ukraine issue.
Do you think that President Biden and the U.S. should declare war and send U.S. troops into Ukraine, -the largest country in Europe, to fight Putin?
Do you think that it would be worth the consequences which could be World War III ?
No need for a "Hawk or Dove" thing. A simply Yes or No will do.

FYI The US now has 90,000 troops in Europe I didn't know how many but I did know that we have a lot of U.S. troops in Europe.
I was just asking wally did he think that President Biden and the U.S. should declare war and send U.S. troops into Ukraine to fight Putin.
Sending those troops to fight Putin could be like the war that nearly destroyed Europe before.

You seem to like confrontation more than harmony with other people.
Perhaps the reason is that it makes you feel fearless?

So Russia invading a country is harmony?

So Russia invading a country is harmony? Fallacy, wally. Reply to what I said instead.
Don't put words into my mouth, wally.
I was referring to the way that you react to issues.
You seem to revel in confrontation rather than harmony.

Putin is the one throwing the term around according to the linked article. In the US, self-declared Neo-Nazis are Right Wingers.
