Maybe he was born & raised in the Scottish Highlands.
Perhaps that is even why he calls himself mountain?
Therefore he may never have seen something thing called a "newspaper" and those hills caused too much "radio" static to be heard accurately (even if by chance they HAD a "radio." )
So how could that young man have been aware of what we know?

Have you been to Mississippi, Mountain? You may already know that the southernmost tip of a mountain range that once cut up through Norway via the US Eastern States and the British Isles is located in Mississippi, USA.   Many thanks for posting this Matisse. I didn't know that either. That would be when the world was in its antedeluvian state? I have never been to the States, despite Mountain originating from there. However, a cursory look suggests that the Days of Peleg were before, during and after the account of the Tower of Babel and the scattering abroad of man throughout the Earth. This suggests a geographical distribution of mankind, not a geological separation of a land mass. |
