The Covid vaccines approved in the US are no more experimental that the cars you drive. And way safer. 4.7 billion doses administered so far. 36.67 million per day. I wonder how much of the freedoms he speaks of were given up by those who went to war and those at home in war time? WW2. Yes, Covid-19 is simply another war that must be fought in order to enjoy the freedom to interact in close proximity to others without the fear of deadly consequences.

They aren't historically safer than any of the approved vaccines That graph is irrelevant. Covid vaccination is historically safer than unvaccination.

Can Americans even fight a war these days?
Some on TMB seem to be terrified of a tiny needle that can hardly be felt.

Its not safer for an unvaccinated person who will never contract covid.. If I've already had covid as I suspect, how does a vaccine with potential side effects make me safer? Your risk is not mine.
You know, I announce that I'm trying to get vaccinated and all I've gotten is condemnation? Even though its the J&J vax, it ought to be recognized as progress and make ya'll feel safer from the big bad Dan.
I'm going in Wednesday at 4:30 for a one shot attempt again. This time I'm going to be very forceful and demanding. If they haven't expedited the jab within 15 minutes,
I plan to drop my pants, bent over the counter, and tell them I'm not going anywhere until I get a needle in my a$$..

Oh my! -how terrible! : I feel so sorry for you!
What could possibly be the reason that "all (you've) gotten is condemnation,?")
It couldn't possibly be that the reason that you are getting the vaccine NOW is because YOU want to fly somewhere but in the past you balked like a mule at doing anything that might keep the virus from spreading to your "fellow-men/women" and children?
uhm, I wonder?
What do you think?

So they had to give up somethings, no freedom to buy those. Material things are not anything like freedoms and rights. And rationing did not stop them from buying anything just less of some things. I just got done talking to my 91 year old Aunt and 85 year old Aunt and 89 year old Uncle and they confirmed what I understood about World War Two.

Here is a woman who lost her freedom to ignorance.
A 21-year-old Florida woman was accidentally killed after a toddler allegedly shot her in the head during a video call, police said on Thursday.
A member attending the same work-related zoom conference call alerted police when they saw the woman – identified as Shamaya Lynn – fall backward with a loud noise and saw a toddler in the background, Altamonte Springs police said in a statement. The toddler found a loaded handgun left unsecured by an adult, say police.

I think you've got my number..... Yes, the only reason I'm getting vaccinated is because of government threats to prevent unvaccinated people from traveling. I resent the inconvenience and am being forced to play ball by an over-bearing government that seems hell bent on eliminating individual choice. I believe every individual is capable of determining their own health risk and should have the freedom to decide whether a vaccine would be beneficial or detrimental to their health. Remember, I already have natural immunity, so its more likely a vaccine could make me sicker than getting the virus again. People with natural immunity have T-cells that can produce antibodies for over a year, while your vaccine last 3 to 6 months. That means that I'm already less contagious than you are.

Duh I didn't know he could use the gun A toddler wouldn't know how to "use" a firearm. This is a case where he probably grabbed something he saw that was "interesting" his finger hit the trigger and mom is dead. The mother/father should have had the firearm locked up, unloaded and safety on a case of pure negligence or reckless ownership and control. They are considering charges for the other parent and dimes to donuts if they do press charges you are gonna hear those terms not ignorance.

You still don't get it. Vaccination, mask wearing, social distancing is to protect your fellow man, not just you. www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/testing/serology-overview.htmlAntibody testing is not currently recommended to determine if you are immune to COVID-19 following COVID-19 vaccination. Antibody testing should also not be used to decide if someone needs to be vaccinated. Exactly, they went to war to preserve freedom.. The result of that sacrifice was that they didn't surrender freedom.
When the USA was finally dragged into WW2 after Pearl Harbour there was German Submarines waiting off New York and other Eastern USA ports. The reason being is that they could see freighters leaving for the UK against the city lights. There had been a request to use black out curtains and turn off street lights but that was an affront to the freedom of the people. So ships got sunk and men and women died because some people liked their freedom. Cargoes of much needed weapons and munitions went to the bottom just so people in the USA could have their street lights on. That is the same attitude I see today in the USA. The stupidity level has not changed.

I think that that the real reason Dan doesn't get it is simply because Dan seldom seems concerned about the rest of humankind.
This view that he & others have about "individual choice" & "freedom" is just a cover for them to do whatever they want without any concern about how their actions affect their fellowmen.
Although many of these people profess to be "Christians," -they seem to forget the commandment of Jesus on how to treat one's neighbor.
PS: Would they would be happy living in a world where there was no restraints on whatever they wanted to do, -in other words where there were no laws at all?

It is ignorance on the adults part not the child, thought that was obvious. No it wasn't and that is not how the law works... Not how the law works? you have to be joking? A women has lost her life because of sheer ignorance and you worry about the law? What about her? There seems to be a great lack of empathy in the American society these day where having a loaded gun is more important than a persons life.
