It sounds to me that you’re looking for problems not solutions. Viruses are alive - this virus has changed. Because people are so bloody skeptical - and not getting vaccinated - the virus continues to mutate and run rampant. I don’t know what the vaccine availability is like in your area. It makes me wonder though - you’ve had months to get vaccinated and then when people aren’t at your beck and call - you are inclined to walk - and blame. I am inclined to think you are an anti-vaxer. Otherwise you would have gotten it by now instead of looking for excuses and making anti-vax posts.
I'm relatively certain that I've already had covid, so natural immunity has protected me. Your correct, I didn't and don't completely trust the safety of the vaccines, but enough time has passed and broad scale use has not demonstrated high odds of dangerous side effects. Although I saw my sister get horribly sick after each of her shots. If not for the threat of interfering with travel plans, I would not get vaccinated. I'm not impatient, but standing around for 45 minutes seemed ridiculous, and I saw 2 other people leave who had been there before me and were waiting longer. Just horrible service, it should have taken 5 minutes.
Sorry, -you won't have any sympathy from me if you do have to "eat your plane tickets!"
Such a sweetheart..

Yes, -always a "sweetheart!" That's me to a T ! You can always count on me, Dan!
PS: -just a suggestion, -but you might try a little butter & maple syrup on the airplane tickets and pretend you are having breakfast on the plane as flies over your head.

I get that the vaccines lesson the severe symptoms of covid, but they were hyped to be 95% effective at preventing infection. Now researchers estimated that the infectious rate for those with two doses of a Covid-19 vaccine are only 49% effective at preventing the delta variant.
I'm not anti-vaccine, I even tried to get inoculated at Walgreens last week, but even though I had an appointment, I couldn't get waited on, so after 45 minutes of waiting, I left.. I may try another place next Wednesday, but that will be my last attempt.. I plan to fly in Oct & Nov, so I mainly want to be prepared in case this thing worsens and the airlines refuse to fly unvaccinated people? I can't afford to eat the plane tickets.

I was greeted by a staff member, given a form to complete and a brochure of information, and sat in a room full of people. The jab lady called my name and I got the jab in a private room, then went back to the waiting room until my name was called to say its OK to leave. I left with an appointment card for my second jab three weeks later. All very orderly and easy, and all paid for by the government.

No I wouldn't... You had to go through miles of paper work, wait for hours behind a room full of others, and then had to wait for hours again. Socialism sucks, the whole purpose of an appointment is to avoid waiting. Capitalism would do in 5 minutes what took you all day to do, and you still need to do it all over again. Government doesn't wait on you, you wait on it, there was nothing efficient about what they put you through. And the paper work was likely disclaimers and waivers agreeing not to hold Pfizer or Moderna liable for serious side effects? A real confidence booster
You know that Fauci helped the Wuhan Institute of Virology with NIH funding to work on “gain of function research” on SARS-CoV-1 animal-human interface.
In other words, your essentially very grateful for governments giving you a "free" experimental vaccine for a disease that they financed, manufactured, and allowed to spread worldwide!
That's like thanking the person who punched you in the eye for a cold pack they gave you to reduce the swelling.

Your political dogma is making a fool of you. Nothing political about it.... Where did the virus come from and who helped pay to create it are important questions. Your content with, "whoops, accidents happen", but not everyone blindly follows like sheep.
The only thing political about any of it is the governments attempt to censor all dissent, silence questions, and label everything not inline with what they're spewing as misinformation. I believe that your real problem Dan, is yourself, -and it all came about from your first trying to deny that Covid-19 was lethal, -then denying it was spreading rapidly, -then NOT closing your 'non-essential' business that might have helped slow down the spread, -then NOT getting the vaccine when you could have done and now that YOU want to fly somewhere and you are running into problems you have to find an excuse as an reason to blame someone else or something else for your own actions.
I'm running into no problems, I just didn't anticipate that my government would deny personal choice, revoke freedom, and try to force everyone to take an experimental vaccine.
Every business is essential, people depend on them for their livelihood. I've made no excuses, I believe I've made the correct choice (for myself) at every point.
I never denied covid was deadly to old or unhealthy people, only that the risk to all others was no more than the risk of catching the flu. More kids under 17 have died from the flu than covid. And closing my business would not have slowed down the spread of covid, because no one there caught or spread it.. That's a fact.

Dan, I hardly have time to help you much with your ignorance. Our medical centre is a privately owned company, owned by the doctors who work there as far as I know. There was only one form to fill out, not hard at all. There are legal reasons for that and I suppose it helps to make sure people are not getting more doses than they should. The Covid jab is fully funded by our socialist government. I tend to be pretty awake to inefficiencies and nothing stood out to me as needing improvement. There only seemed to be two staff and they do a jab every 2 minutes. You're asked to wait 20 minutes after the jab to make sure there's no adverse reaction. If there was an adverse reaction due to your uninformed 5-minute timeframe, can you imagine what the anti-vax idiots on social media would do with that? I mean, one adverse reaction out of the 36.67 million daily doses would be a big deal for those who are too stupid to participate in the 4.7 billion doses administered so far.

So? Dan do you know what you just said actually means in terms of research on how virus work?
I very much doubt that you do.

Exactly, they went to war to preserve freedom.. The result of that sacrifice was that they didn't surrender freedom.
