1. Create as much mayhem and doubt as possible 2. Resign prior to his term ending. 2a. Pence becomes president, and pardons Trump for any federal offense since Trump cannot pardon himself 2b. Trump can say that he wasn't "defeated", and can perpetuate a narrative of fraud and rigged election. 2c. Pence eases the transition for Biden/Harris 2d. Since Trump isn't the incumbent, he isn't obligated to attend the Biden inauguration (fearing shame of being seen as the 'loser')
3. In the next 2 or so (likely stalemated and rocky) years, tweet about how things were better with Trump, his (largely ignored) accomplishments, and how the dishonest, fake news cost him the election.
4. Either attempt to buy FOX, or (more likely) start his own news organization.
5. Ivanka Trump runs in 2024 or 2028, uniting the Republican party factions due to being a highly capable woman. We will probably learn in due time (from Trump News) her major role in (for example) Middle East Peace agreements.
Thoughts?
I know people think Trump might run again in 2024 (and he may), but I see this option as more likely because 1. Less chance for him to lose 2. He's "the Boss" again, accountable to nobody 3. His earnings potential in News could put him into the 10-20 Billion dollar net worth quickly.

Also, I see a small but very real possibility that he sabotaged his own reelection, in order to do exactly what I've suggested above. He therefore knew full well on election night that he was going to lose, and has been creating a media circus ever since.

I don't think Trump will run again. He's not inclined to run the risk of being again embarrassed on such a wide scale as this election did. We know he's interested in all the pardons he can get, but what is far more frightful is the revenge he will take both before and after he loves out of the White House. As he always says, "We'll have to see what happens." It won't be his fault.

Wally, -you love to keep claiming that Hillary "whined" after her loss of the election but you have not showed us one VALLID piece of evidence for your claim.
After she lost, - I remember wondering how Hillary could be as gracious about it as she was. She conceded the election in same civil way that her predecessors had done before her and we never heard much from her for a long while.
I tend to think that your claims about this "whining" that you keep talking about must be caused as wishful thinking by yourself.

That's because he knows he won't go to prison, either. He/his company may end up paying considerable fines for the the NY state actions. As for the federal actions, his legal team will be able to demonstrate (or more accurately, the prosecutors will be unable to counter) that he was not a culpable actor in things like the porn star payoffs / campaign finance violations, hence avoiding the sentence Michael Cohen received.
He may well run in 2024 because he HATES being a loser, and winning in 2024 will save him from the besmirchment of a 1-term presidency. He could win, too, because after 2 years of Biden, the Republicans could easily win the House and keep the Senate, and after 4 years of Biden (during which Trump will be a constant presence on social media, paid rallies, and his own tv/radio show or media organisation) his base will be even more fired up, and those he lost in 2020 may well move back to the Trump side.

Trump may just go on Christmas vacation to Mar-a-Lago and not even return to the White House.
He can sluff off a lot of problems that way like not going to the inauguration for Biden and Harris. I can't imagine his setting calmly watching anyone else taking his place.

I can see what you're saying here play out too. Either way, the DC drama seems here to stay for a while.

Trump asked advisors for options to attack Iran's main nuclear site just days after sacking his Defense Secretary
Business Insider

Anonymous or not, -how could they know that much, -naming exact names like "Vice President Mike Pence, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, acting Defense Secretary Christopher Miller, and Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Gen. Mark A. Milley," if they didn't know what they were talking about?
Besides. You have posted a helluva lot of crap put out by "Anonymous " sources. Now suddenly you don't?
