Kathryn Kimball Mizelle, 33, receives a lifetime appointment to the federal bench eight years after leaving law school.
The youngest U.S. district judge nominated by President Donald Trump was confirmed by the Senate on Wednesday evening to serve in the Tampa division of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
Mizelle is married to Chad Mizelle, who is the Trump administration's acting General Counsel of the United States Department of Homeland Security, a Trump campaign volunteer and a close ally of Stephen Miller.
But of course Trump isn't "packing the court." Oh no!

You correct, wally and furthermore the term is only about the U.S. Supreme Court. In the present climate in governmental politics there have been a lot of questions raised as to the way the courts positions are filled.
The one I sited is an example of some of the problems we are seeing.

STAY IN MY HOME MY BUBBLE Comedy 🎭 Yeah Bill Maher good , controversial ! Jimmy Fallon , James Corden and a few others . We need to laugh during this time so much . It is good therapy . Any thing that is full of air doesn't sink. Course we know that most everything that Trump says is indeed just full of air without any substance, -so matter what he keeps floating to the top.

First you say he'll have no power, then you proceed to tell all the ways he will have power. You didn't mention his real power -- holding rousing rallies to promote conspiracy theories and fan the flames of WASP bigotry. But write a book? He doesn't even read books. Let him suck his fans dry.

The rest of it, yes, that can be powerful if he stays good at it. What frightens me more is why people VOTE for it.

Now here's something worth watching: Trump's pardon list before he leaves the WH.
Today, Michael Flynn -- confessed to lying to the Vice President about Trump's Russian connections.
The proposed list even includes special son in law's father, Mr. Kushner. What did HE do? Autocrats don't normally have this option before they exited. Only in the good old USA.

Since he hasn't cared one whit about what happens to the country or people, it is most likely is revenge because they had disagreed with him.
I honestly don't think that he knows even who all those people are nor understands their positions, such as former Secretaries of State Madeleine Albright & Henry Kissinger.
They have volumes of information & understanding about world wide situations that others simple don't have because of their experience .

Bob, -can these last minute positions like this one that you posted be rescind ed or canceled by the Biden administration?
Treasury Secretary Mnuchin is moving $455 billion of unspent stimulus money into a fund the incoming Biden administration can't deploy without Congress.

I don't know -- possibly can, I suppose, but not fast enough to prevent whatever damage they can accomplish before a new government can deal with them. The timing makes the whole thing look suspicious.
