lee. Hello Lee What part of my comment 'assumes no Jesus'? And the heuristic process is an antidote to religious indoctrination. Instead of conforming to force-fed religious claims, the individual who inquires from a platform of common sense, and a respect for evidence and facts, soon discovers there is not one iota of evidence for the supernatural dimension.

We contend with governmental “thou shalts” or religious “thou shalts”.
In some societies we are privileged and or cursed to contend with both.
How is our contending and reconciling with these not a heuristic process?

How is our contending and reconciling with these not a heuristic process? You have a rare condition that permits your active vocabulary to outclass your learning-based education.

That’s sad if that is true of people today. I was working last week and overheard one of our customers using the word in a business conversation with his team. Later I looked it up with my boss and thought “hmm...”. Decided to place it in use again.

As in other nations are less virtuous or of less virtue? Not at all, whereas their constitutions, founders and successors are distinguished by a Christian balance between freedom and responsibility.

They share things in common but not everything. Islam is still weighted in the idea of submission, which expresses itself in a blind or unconditional allegiance to authority. Christianity idealizes the idea of a voluntary allegiance in polity and theology.
