“Every time you feel like mocking a person you disagree with politically by implying that they are mentally ill, I want you to instead imagine you are talking to every single person who actually is mentally ill and telling them they are worthless. That's how it makes mentally ill people feel. Doesn't seem very progressive now does it?” ― Ariel Howland

Religious freedom, you understand.

Instead of Religions freedom, I find Humanism a much better option.
IMO it recognises all Human rights.

Have you tried it???.
“Who are you to judge the life I live? I know I'm not perfect -and I don't live to be- but before you start pointing fingers... make sure you hands are clean!” ― Bob Marley

The benefits of a growth mindset might seem obvious, but most of us are guilty of having a fixed mindset in certain situations. That can be dangerous because a fixed mindset can often prevent important skill development and growth, which could sabotage your health and happiness down the line.

That can be dangerous because a fixed mindset can often prevent important skill development and growth, which could sabotage your health and happiness down the line. Christ never promised a rose garden in our journey on earth. There is a solution for that though: 2Co_12:9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

That's how it makes mentally ill people feel. Doesn't seem very progressive now does it?” ― Ariel Howland I am genuinely concerned that Biden is mentally ill. It concerns me that the most powerful figure in the free world, whose words and decisions matter to millions of people, doesn't possess his faculties. It concerns the members of his own party as well - they are starting to understand what they've done. When someone's 'gaffe' has the power to trigger a nuclear war, and lives hang in balance on the highest scale and level, it isn't unreasonable to call him out. And evidence of his decline in the form of these 'gaffes' are all that we have to go on by way of electing. If I knew or even suspected that his comments were part of some greater strategic plan, I'd not be worried. Maybe he just appears to be out of his mind, and it's all a ploy. It wouldn't be the first time it's been done. Given his tendency to read directly from the teleprompter and to wander into the White House Lawn even as the secret service points to the path he should be taking, it doesn't seem like he has a master plan of any kind. And this is very concerning. From 2016-2020, the constant, incessant and increasingly hysterical cry was that Trump was a [insert every imaginable description, true or not, doesn't matter]. The cries for decency and reasonable discourse were few and far between, when naked sculptures of Trump were displayed in US cities in 2016 ( www.theverge.com/2016/8/18/12538672/nude-donald-trump-statues-union-square-los-angeles-indecline ). And despite what the US press has made him out to be, Biden is not a saint. Not even close. He opposed bussing that facilitated school integration (as his own vice president reminded him when she was running against him in the primaries). His reasoning? If integration happened in schools too quickly, he was worried children would grow up in a "racial jungle" (Biden, 1977). He co-authored the 1986 Anti-Drug Abuse Act, which amongst other things created a two tier system of penalties and thresholds for crack and powder cocaine, despite the drugs being pharmacologically similar. Crack cocaine was penalized more heavily, for less possession. The reason? Black folks typically used crack cocaine, white folks typically used powder cocaine. The veterans I've talked to absolutely despise him. For very good reasons. Plus, he has stated that the only reason he ran for president was because Trump wasn't quick enough to condemn white racism after Charlottsville (he condemned white racism many times, including the racism of Charlottsville here -> www.youtube.com/watch?v=0qD47QFFkTU ). Plus, Biden ran ads about how he was going to be tough on Putin, who was 'a bully, just like our president'. How's that been working? Mockery is the only tool we have to make sense of the current madness in the states. Mocking our political leaders is the last and best expression of free people - the cry of the serf against the tyrant. I wouldn't have it any other way. I didn't mind the mockery and jokes about Trump, as long as they were fair and not untrue. I laughed my head off at SNLs sketches about him! Objectively, Biden has plenty to disparage, and he's the one who wanted the job. Against the better judgement of Obama, it is worth mentioning. Just consider for a second that anyone who suggested that Biden was mentally ill prior to the election (I did) was thoroughly dismissed as "ageist". Now the question has shifted. The question you ask presupposes that Biden is mentally ill, and posits that we shouldn't mock mentally ill people. I agree nearly always, except when they have chosen to occupy the position of leader of the free world, and their mental competence makes the difference between rich and poor, war and peace.

Are you sure you know what that actually means? Absolutely. Why do you ask? You are using a music/film term in a debate that has no music/film in it...just sayin Segue: (in music and film) move without interruption from one piece of music or scene to another: an uninterrupted transition from one piece of music or film scene to another. -oxford

That old "always say the right politically correct thing or you're a racist" hammer keeps hitting the fingers of the Democrats trying to swing it.

That old "always say the right politically correct thing or you're a racist" hammer keeps hitting the fingers of the Democrats trying to swing it. However, we see what happens when we have a politically incorrect president. There IS something incorrect about it.

Biden during visit to Israel:
"To keep alive the truth and honor of the holocaust" smh
He did correct it to horror a couple seconds later but that didn't change the reaction of the Israeli's...
