Kind of hard to know what would've happened in 8 years with a booming US economy. Bill Clinton gave us a surplus instead of a deficit with a strong peacetime economy. Here's his plan to eliminate the national debt in 12 years. Were Clinton's supporters gullible? clintonwhitehouse3.archives.gov/WH/New/00BudgetFramework/appendix1.htmlClinton of course was extremely fortunate to govern when the US was an unparalleled superpower and was experiencing a housing and internet boom. He didn't inherit the legacy of 20 years of failed foreign policy and forever wars like Trump. So many variables. If people believing that Trumps peacetime economy could eliminate the debt are gullible, what adjective best describes people who think Ukraine could win a land war with Russia? Both scenarios seem far fetched, but only one of them doesn't get half a million people killed. Good to see that we're now in agreement that war is not necessary for a strong economy. Sometimes war is just necessary though. Take look at what happens when an emboldened agressive Russia gets it's own way: This Is the World If Ukraine Loses

Sometimes war is just necessary though. Take look at what happens when an emboldened agressive Russia gets it's own way: This Is the World If Ukraine Loses It's ominous that the thesis is - the EU is failing to provide all the artillery shells needed... to push Russia back.... to achieve simply a stalemate. And that's from a Ukrainian. Why isn't the author fighting? Because the author is Victor Pinchuk, a billionaire about as rich as Donald Trump. Is his son fighting? A 32 year old Ukrainian male? Of course not. You can check his Instagram and YouTube profiles if you're curious. So this billionaire wants your money so that children other than his can die in a forever war. Biden recently approved a 200 million dollar Ukraine package, and the US has sent billions. This Ukrainian oligarch could donate over a billion to the effort and still be a billionaire. But no - that's not how being rich and powerful works. You want to know the most F-ed up part? Scroll down to the chart showing Pinchuks net worth. www.forbes.com/profile/victor-pinchuk/?sh=268e1dd27935He nearly DOUBLED his fortune during Putin's invasion of Ukraine. His 2020 net worth: 1.3B USD. His 2021 net worth: 2.5B USD But HE needs YOUR money. He's getting his. Keep the war going!

GDP growth under Trump was nothing special. And he added a lot of debt in the process (after promising his gullible base that he would eliminate the debt over eight years). 31/12/2010 - 2.7089 31/12/2011 - 1.5499 31/12/2012 - 2.2807 31/12/2013 - 1.8419 31/12/2014 - 2.2878 31/12/2015 - 2.7064 31/12/2016 - 1.6675 31/12/2017 - 2.2419 31/12/2018 - 2.9454 31/12/2019 - 2.2944 31/12/2020 - (-2.7678 Recession) 31/12/2021 - 5.9455 31/12/2022 - 2.0616 thehill.com/blogs/ballot-box/presidential-races/275003-trump-i-will-eliminate-us-debt-in-8-years/True to character, he was pampering and enriching his base so he could lower the boom when he got elected again. We're about to see if he worked it well enough!!!!!
