However, with that privilege we should recognize our responsibility to be accurate, to be sure we can separate what is "true" and what is only a "rumor'.
AND to be sure of the truth of the story, you must trust the person telling the story!!

Wally, - you know & I know and everyone else hearing what Biden said knows that was not what Biden meant to say and he corrected it immediately.That is why we ALL know we can never rely on what you say. No matter how convincingly you try to state it, we know that it will have something that isn't true and should not be there much like the worms in some of my peaches that are ripening.gaffe: -an unintentional act or remark causing embarrassment to its originator; a blunder:

Making a mistake when you're giving a presentation isn't going to ruin anyone's day. You can acknowledge the mistake, and be sure to correct yourself, but do so and move on.
It proves you are Human, that is the important thing. Sincerity in what you say is the main thing. If the heart is right, the mouth will get it right as well. Decent people will ignore any slip ups.

Trump never made gaffes, all his crazy comments were deliberate.
It is not always easy to recognise a cold-hearted person because they can hide very well behind various masks. While you cannot change them, you can always change yourself and work on strengthening your boundaries so you can better protect yourself from their negative intentions.

You don't seem able to understand the difference between a "gaffe" and a "fact."
You can't seem to understand that when someone makes a "gaffe" that it was NOT what they meant to say.
In fact it is often it is just the opposite of what they meant to say, -as it was with what Biden.
As for what Trump said, -I didn't think of Trump as making a "gaffe," -but rather that Trump actually believed what he said & and therefore it was
NOT a "gaffe."
But please do keep on posting, wally.
Gives me a chuckle to go to sleep on.
