Teenager, when did you last hear a worker preach about loving our neighbour and explaining who our neighbour was ? Also when did you last hear one dwell upon the parable of the Samaratan ?

And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves, And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves. And the blind and the lame came to him in the temple; and he healed them. IN THE TEMPLE IN THE TEMPLE Not in the living room of a house. Jesus went to the temple. He was, afterall, Jewish... Jesus taught everwhere; NOT just in a prescribed building. The apostles and early Christians often met in the Snyagogues' courtyards...hmmm.. isn't that interesting.? And the apostles went from house to house. That was practical at the time and still is today. Pracitcal, safe, and the best way to really get to know the sheep and feed and care for the sheep. As long as we are in the human form, we will not be PERFECT! We can strive for the ideal, but we will always be at war with our carnal flesh that demands so much. I like simplicity. Keeping it simple makes more allowance to focus on the spiritual needs/nurturing.......afterall, why do we seek God/fellowship in the first place? It's because we feel the need for some sort of spiritual ediffication. If too much time, effort and money is spent on natural provisions, I fear that the spiritual part gets neglected.** jmo, just my take.

A rather amazing habit that 2x2s have is to disqualify everyone else on the earth for the privelage of service to God, except those who go to 2x2 meetings and proffess!!!
Wonder what they use for a definition of self-righteousness!

Workers are quite militant in defending their exclusive right to determine whoms service God is 'allowed to accept' -- and whoms sincere service God must reject!!
