Waking Up on the Wrong Side of Bed.
A nun, sister Sarah, wakes up one morning feeling great, she gets out of bed and decides to go to the kitchen for some breakfast. On her way over there she runs into sister Jane and she says, "Hi sister Jane," to which sister Jane answers, "I see you got off on the wrong side of the bed this morning sister." Puzzled, sister Sarah did not understand what sister Jane meant by that so she ignored it and went on.
She's passing by the garden when she runs into sister Roberta and says, "Good morning sister Roberta hope you're having a great day!" Sister Roberta answers, "Good morning sister Sarah, I see you got off on the wrong side of the bed today."
Sarah was now really anxious to know why everybody she meets keeps saying that when she feels so great, and so she decides to go and see mother superior, who was in her office. She enters and asks mother superior, "Holy mother, everybody keeps telling me that I got off on the wrong side of the bed, but I feel great!" The mother superior replies: "That's because you have brother John's shoes on."

The Protestant reformer Martin Luther denounced priestly celibacy as a universal policy, argued that it kept clergy and laypeople apart, and was opposed to the Word of God and against Christ because such vows violated the freedom of the gospel and made religion a matter of rules, status, orders, and divisions. A lot of the damage caused to the 2x2 Church has been caused because of unfounded rules. It has brought them into disrepute, big time. Did you know Martin Luther/RCC was a celibate monk like Jesus! He left the RCC celibate ministry got married and started his own Protestant denomination Lutherans and they allowed their preachers to have wives like himself. Luther in the 16th century started the new Trend for 50, 000 plus Protestant denominations preachers, pastors, ministers, missionaries and so on to be married and that is the way for most preachers the last 500 years to now. Most of the 2x2 workers follow Jesus The New Test preacher model/pattern as celibate preacher example Read Matthew 19. This way the preachers don’t have the burden of life, and the care for family weight heavily on their shoulders. The celibate pattern was established by God the Father, who send forth Jesus that way as the example for God’s preachers, but he allowed a few to have wives in the ministry, like Peter and others. However, Paul, Barnabas, Timothy, Silas, Mark, Luke and many like them had chosen to follow Jesus example as celibate preachers for kingdom sake. Matthew 19:21.

There could have been hanky-panky, but that would not be recorded. We know that there was a bit of hanky-panky that went on with Workers. And they were just following the lead of the 2x2 founder William Irvine, who was active in that regard. There is always a lot of pretence with religion, talk the talk, but not walk the walk.

God has a better plan for me…. Be an Internet worker! For 30 plus years. 😁Less politics to deal with in the ministry, I don’t have to preach the party line Jesus is NOT God, or the Trinity is the devil doctrine, we worship only God the Father and NOT Jesus, the Holy Spirit is NOT God but a force, Jesus is our elder brother, he is NOT God and so on. I don’t have to deal and bogged down with CSA within the Ministry! Like the workers are facing these days. I can teach Jesus Christ 21st century gospel message to mankind, to people at work and those I come in contact with while I can. Time is short! Jesus is coming very soon, the message has to be preached before it too late. I have a great respect for the workers, who are staying true to their God given/calling as celibate servants of God. My hat 🎩 if of to them! 👏👍 I had been celibate worker for 8 year ! NOT an easy life to live but it’s very rewarding to see and make life changing experience in people lives, which bring joy, peace and happiness to them and theirs families.

Not God's plan, your plan of convenience. Be honest, just a cop out to blame God. I am sure if there is a God, then God would not be interested in such trivia.

"The Celibate pattern was estalished by God the Father" is a complete lie, manufactured by William irvine, and proprogated by those can't read or are willfully blind.

Logically, any itinerant preacher traveling from place to place and house to house couldn't very well drag a spouse along. Even if a married couple both preached, any children would need a permanent place to attend school and all. So the practicality of being single with no distractions would make sense. Considering all the hardships that Paul experienced, its no wonder he said that it was better to remain single.

How does that fit with Luke 10:7? Remain in the same house, eating and drinking whatever they provide, for the laborer deserves to be paid. Do not move about from house to house.

Amen to that. Married workers without children are fine, they have their place in God’s ministry! But children enter the world without their consents and that can put great burden on the married workers with children to move from homes to homes. That was why God the Father sent Jesus into the world as unmarried preacher of the gospel as an example for His apostles to follow. It makes their lives free from the cares of family challenges. If his apostles decided to marry and have children, they will face many unnecessary hardships for theirs and children lives. Like Paul has suggested it was best for him to remain single like Jesus as Itinerant preacher of the gospel.

We read in the gospel Jesus moved and stayed in the homes of his followers like Zacheus, Mary, Martha and their brother, and so on. In the book of Acts we read Peter stayed in the home of Centurion. Paul and his Co-workers moved and stayed in different homes of disciples like Lydia, the Jailer, Philip the evangelist and the disciples homes during his 3 missions journey. Can you explain these reasons to us?

Did you give up all of your Possesion like Jesus and the apostles to follow Jesus as an itinerant preacher without owing a home for yourself. If you haven’t done that then you are NOT an apostle. It’s nothing wrong for you to stay in the friends homes as a visitor.

The workers go from homes to homes of the friends every week, most of the year that’s Itinerant because they have many homes to visits. They preaching 2 times a week, having Bible studies with non-believers and believers, they feeding the lambs and sheep, visiting the elderly that can’t attend meetings, those who are sick, in the hospitals, in nursing homes and so on. That is a full time schedule! Sometimes there are problems among the friends family like death, sickness, marital problems, that the workers try to comfort the families. Having the funerals of the friends. The overseers suggests where the workers be for the year but the Holy moves the workers around due to circumstances and situation arise, for 5 years I had more than 1 companion, and move to 2 to 3 different fields in a year. Yes, some overseers have their own agenda, which are NOT good but God is in control over all.

In that case shouldn't Paul have had it easier than some of the others? I say yes! Easier than the Married apostles with wife and children to care for and make them happy! When there was NOT much money to buy presents, toys for the children and new clothes for wife. Money is always tight, you know too many mouths to feed and more rooms to have in the homes for the friends! To worry about. 😁 At Corinth the believers stopped supporting Paul and his co-workers because there was a report going around he was a false apostle read I Cor. 9 Paul didn’t want to offend them so, he worked as a tent maker to support himself and his co-workers to feed themselves. The apostles were often get persecuted, beaten so it would be very difficult for his wife and children to witness the father suffering.

The workers aren't Itinerant, they are given an address of a convert and stay in the same area for the year. They don't move around from place to place preaching the Gospel as Jesus did but go to where the overseer tells them. As we know there are a number of questionable overseers. So they are pastors not apostles/ evangelists. Jesus would roll over in his grave (so to speak) at some church started by Willian Irvine 125 years ago claiming to be the only true church. We are seeing the fruits of it and it's not good. It's hilarious some of the answers you come up with. You forget we were born and raised in the group.

What happened in 1800s? I posted 2 letters written to me explained it from one of the workers George Gitten and a friend in 2001 on ex-worker board the Title Is William Irvine the founder of 2x2 in 1897? When I Google "William Irvine the founder of 2x2 in 1897" I get this: www.tellingthetruth.info/founder_index/who_when_start.phpThe claim that the Vaudois Christians make of having existed since Paul is a claim made by one of their preachers, Pastor Henri Arnaud...in the 17th century. There have been references that speak to their existence as far back as the early 1100s. So...either Paul lived for over a millennium, or the claim that they existed since then holds about as much water as the 2x2 church claiming the same thing. I mean, if you wait 1000-1900 years, you can make any claim you want because there is no way to refute it. Just saying "see, you can't prove my claim as false," does not automatically mean your claim is true. Lack of counter proof does not validate a wildly false claim. If it works like that, then: Unless anyone can show me verified and documented proof to the contrary, an advanced life form, far more developed than humans, colonized Jupiter in 1354 AD and have developed cloaking technology to hide from human's prying eyes. This isn't intended to be a personal attack. Just an observation that any current religious institutions claiming to go back "to Jesus" is just out to mislead people and coerce them to give the church leaders money.

This isn't intended to be a personal attack. Just an observation that any current religious institutions claiming to go back "to Jesus" is just out to mislead people and coerce them to give the church leaders money. For crying out loud in a bucket, how many times does one need to refute this nonsense? The Vaudois Christians, also known as the Waldensians, are a Christian movement that emerged in the 12th century. They were founded by Peter Waldo, a wealthy merchant from Lyon, France, who renounced his wealth and began preaching a life of poverty and adherence to the Gospels. Evidence Against the Vaudois Christians Existing Since Paul: Historical Records: The earliest historical records of the Waldensians date back to the 12th century, with no evidence linking them to the apostolic age or to Paul. Historical documents, including those from the Roman Catholic Church and various secular sources, place their origins in the High Middle Ages. Peter Waldo: The founder of the Waldensians, Peter Waldo, lived in the 12th century. There is no historical connection between him and the early Christian communities established by Paul. Lack of Continuity: There is no continuous historical or doctrinal line connecting the early Christian communities established by Paul to the Waldensians. The early Christian Church went through many transformations and schisms, and the Waldensians represent one of the later reform movements rather than a direct continuation of Paul's ministry. Evidence For the Claim (Though Limited and Largely Disputed): Waldensian Claims: Some Waldensians have historically claimed that their beliefs and practices are a continuation of the original apostolic teachings. They argue that they preserved a purer form of Christianity that predated the corruption they perceived in the Roman Catholic Church. Reformation Era Writings: During the Protestant Reformation, some reformers and Waldensian leaders asserted that their movement was a continuation of an ancient and unbroken line of true Christian believers. These claims were part of a broader effort to legitimize their break from the Catholic Church by asserting historical continuity. Oral Traditions: Some oral traditions within the Waldensian community suggest a lineage dating back to early Christianity. However, these traditions are not substantiated by historical evidence and are often seen as part of the group's identity and self-understanding rather than factual history. In conclusion, the claim that Vaudois Christians have existed since the time of Paul lacks substantial historical evidence. The consensus among historians is that the Waldensian movement began in the 12th century with Peter Waldo and that their claims of ancient origins are more ideological than factual.

Mad props to you for doing much more research into them and having a more solid mountain of evidence than I did! What is funny is that the claims made by the Vaudois/Waldensians about being "the original" are the same made by the 2x2s...and the Catholics...and all 3 groups couldn't be more wrong. Ahhh, humans!

The apostles/workers are Preachers, teachers, Evangelists, pastors, ministers, missionaries, some workers have met gifts than others! To be apostles you must learn and know how to preach/teach and relay the message so the listeners can understand Salvation comes only through Jesus; it is Jesus who saves! After they have many converts they must learn to feed them and protect them as pastors! they appoint church elders the responsibilities to feed and cares for the lambs and sheep of God. Yes, many of you born and raise but don’t fully the understand the miracles of how it works.
