Its all about connections, pleasing constituents, buying influence, favoritism, party loyalty, raising money, lies and fraud. I don't need to study something that's thrown in my face everyday.. In fact, I'd prefer an escape from it.  |

Yes, I know the reference, I just don't consider politics to be science. Its not a physical observation of factual substance. Its more a study of unscrupulous human behavior as relating to government. Calling politics science is tantamount to calling something religious science, economic science, or historical science. A method of human control and persuasion is not a scientific study, but more of a systematic psychological endeavor. Of course, science can mean accumulating knowledge of any subject, so perhaps I'm just bandying words, but traditionally science is about inquiry, discovery, hypothesis, theories, and laws.. jmo
