I follow with what is happening. An ex-worker, not by choice, 'a brother in tribulation'! I, like G.T. have not changed my beliefs, G.T wote it so clearly. The Spirit helps us in our weaknesses. Let us find similar happenings in The Bible. Joseph. Had God judged his brothers then and there, they would have had 'no hope'. Jacob never found comfort after the loss of Joseph, they wouldn't ever forget it, it made them never ever want to hurt their father or brother again. We must see that God 'allows' things to happen and if we let Him work, we will all win. God was working in them. 2 Peter 3.9. God is not slow, He is not willing that any should perish. 1 Sam. H.& E. went to Shilo to worsip because God's name was there, they could not go another place although they saw all the immoral things that 'the priests' did. God did not overthrow them immediately, Samuel grew up during this time. Difficult times no doubt! Later God wiped out Eli's whole family, because Eli did not rebuke them . The Exodus. They all experienced the GREAT DELIVERANCE, the Red Sea,The Cloud, The Pillar of Fire but when they came to Mara, what happened? It wasn't what they thought! The waters were bitter and they blamed MOSES!! Was it his fault?? NO. God wanted to show what was in THEIR hearts. How do we come out of the BITTER experiences.? Job. 42 chapters about ONE man completely misunderstood and judged severely and unjustly, were they elders, His friends and acquaintances forsook him. God tells US why this situation arose, but THEY did not know. The enemy of our soul, the devil is seeking whom he may devour, wants to hurt and destroy our fellowship, how do WE come out. Don't let him win. Find your own situation in The Bible and it will work qualities that will sustain you. Our faith must be tested as through fire. Is. Jer. Ezek. Warned that 'THE PRIESTS' had led the people astray, they oppressed them!! Difficult times? It happened over a long time. The faithful ones had to suffer because of the unfaithful, take Daniel for one. God did NOT abandon them, God worked amongst them, they were still HIS people. Sometimes, sad to say GOD had to reduce their number, 'a little remnant were saved'. God's ways cannot be searched out. Rev. . Eph. Church saw what some of us see today, but they themselves had a serious problem! We can see all the bad that is going on but if we don't see that God is pointing at something lacking in US, we can get into deeper trouble. Jesus knew the enemy was trying to destroy their faith. Some prophets, apostles and others felt they were ALONE and they were, in the experience but God showed He had many who had not given in to wrong (bowed the knee for Baal) but they were kept hidden. The time wasnt ripe for them to come forward. Think how difficult it was for David and Jonathan. David WAS anointed, in secret, but God waited a long time before he could be crowned. It wasn't Davids place to to kill Saul although many thought he should. David showed he had great respect for God's anointing in himself and IN OTHERS. From start to finish we read of all the problems God had with His people, they were still HIS. Let us ALL walk by the same rule, lets take the 70x7 rule for forgiveness and with Matt.18 to show us the consequenses and last but not least John 17. May they all be One. It's US who have to make it work, individually.

They should get all of the workers, who were kicked out of VN under Darrel T. supervision back in VN. They would have known the people and the language already. Good idea Nathan. Who were all the workers kicked out by Darrel Turner?

1) Uncle Hoa was anounced “didn’t have any part in the work of God in VietNam” by uncle Lyle’s letter.
2) Uncle Châu also was anounced “didn’t have any part in the work of God in VietNam” too. By Lyle’s action, sent him to Cambodia again this Feb 2014.
We are all happy that the authority have interfered into VN 2x2’s affair, and uncle Châu has to stay in Viet Nam, instead of going to Cambodia as they arranged. We do know that there will be more changing in the coming days. Just believe in God and see what will happen. Yesterday uncle Hoa returned to my house for asking my husband help him solve some trouble in his tablet. Later uncle Châu also came to my house for the same reason. He lost the Bible progam in his tablet, he want my husband to install the Bible progam for him again. While uncle Chau rang the bell, we was in the first floor, uncle Hoa was in the ground. So uncle Hoa opened the door for uncle Chau. They met together after a long time. I felt full of joy to have both of them in my home, even just a very short time.

If CB is the new overseer, things will continue to get worse.
CB was once quoted as saying "this ministry will never apologize." He also stated at convention to young people "make me proud of you when you come over to Vietnam, I don't want you to ruin all our hard work." It doesn't take a genius to discern where the future is headed in VN. I don't know Peter Hawkins, maybe he will help moderate things.

I have read the workers list in 2014. Who and where they will stay for their work throughout Vietnam. I realize three things. 1) Uncle Hoa was anounced “didn’t have any part in the work of God in VietNam” by uncle Lyle’s letter.
2) Uncle Châu also was anounced “didn’t have any part in the work of God in VietNam” too. By Lyle’s action, on the Vietnamese list of 2014 didn’t have uncle Châu’s name.
3) For Darrel couldn’t come back to VN, so he was arranged to be in Laos, near the North of VN. Then Cường a young brother who was recruited to be Darrel’s hand is in Hanoi. (The North, easily for Darrel to send his control from the distance). Sister Nhung, another hand of Darrel was arranged in Hoi An (The centre). At this place they had a big gathering month ago without uncle Châu. They had about 75 people there, mostly from the north, a few central and a few from the south.
There were 14 workers there, including Dean Bruer (MT/WY) and a sister from the Philippines.
With Lyle gone and Darrell's banishment from the country, the "responsibility" has gone to Colin Brodie, with the help of Peter Hawkins (no mention of Chau). Tường Ân also a great help to Darrel is in the city of Cần Thơ (South VN). I wonder the reason why she is in Laos now. Maybe a short visit with Darrel. We are all happy that the authority have interfered into VN 2x2’s affair, and uncle Châu has to stay in Viet Nam, instead of going to Cambodia as they arranged. We do know that there will be more changing in the coming days. Just believe in God and see what will happen. Another one of those 'spiritual leaders' who lead through intimidation and dictatorial styles. Why would they ever apologize? We can see through reading about this situation, the Alberta situation, the scandals among US overseers being booted out for sexual impropriety, convicted workers..... and the list goes on..... What is there to apologize for? They appear to be perfect in every way!!! That is hilarious..... to someone outside of the fellowship. Like I have mentioned.... the members get what they allow, and that is why there are more and more members who are refusing to support any but those workers that they personally know to be trustworthy and deserving of the position of spiritual advisor. We have seen in Vietnam, how about half of the members have turned their back on such unGodly attitudes, and the fruits of their fellowship has now gained several new members which have joined them in their walk with Christ. I am thoroughly enjoying what has been shared here by people I consider to be brothers and sisters in Christ. It sounds like the foreign workers are the ones that have ruined the hard work that has been done by the native ministers of the gospel there. Most young people would probably be welcomed with open arms to fellowship with the golden friends there. It seems like there were a few in the pictures that MT shared with us of their gathering on the rubber plantation. Looked like they fit right in with the group. I thought it was nice to see them there!

If Uncle Hoa and the 100 golden friends don't want to return then let us part ways in good terms. This is a rather late effort to imply parting on good terms --- 2x2ism has belligerently broken down every Christian principle these folks have striven for, it has indecently pushed them away from their closest friends and families, and then showed utter contempt for every effort these folks have shown to live simple basic Christianity -- Now when these intruding workers have to leave with their tail between their legs, say "Let's part on good terms"!! Is there no decency at all in 2x2ism? I have discussed with uncle Châu this situation, for he persuated us to return to the fellowship. We are still in God Way and serving God as before, deep believe that Jesus is THE WAY, and Jeus Christ is the same for ever. Who are changing out of Jesus way, they should return their step unto THE WAY OF JESUS, have written in Bible. The 2x2 in VietNam bringing many changes to Vietnamese churches, so they are the people should return, to become one with us, with Jesus, with God in heaven. John14:6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ [is] the same yesterday and to-day, [yea] and for ever.

I hope the Americans will let uncle Chau be the leader, and they come in as helpers to Him... With the foreigners, they have the world wide connection of the workers around the world. They can be of a great help with the friends trust funds, bringing in workers from other countries to help in VN, sending the VN workers to other countries for conventions, rotating workers in and out of VN, etc. There we have it --- It is the money that is the issue!!!! No wonder 2x2ism is falling apart where ever it goes these days. Seems that the example that Minh Thanh shared earlier today works well without the trust funds of North American. And by the sound of things the money issues from Darrel Turners days only compounded the irritations. It is the 'worker rotation' that is the major problem Nathan, it has been only used as a weapon!!! -- And Nathan, since when is the convention system part of the teaching of Christ? Seems to me that the work of God in Vietnam WITHOUT 2x2ism works far better, and is much more in line with the spirit of Christ than 2x2ism ever is. Why would anyone want it back again to interfere in the wonderful work that we see there now? It has been clearly proven how well things work, once the ugly leaven of 2x2ism has been removed. I agree, Edgar! The sweetness of the fellowship MT and uncle Hoa and MT's husband and many other friends was sweet to read about...there was not squabbling for "place", "control" or "power"! They truly have shown what the sweet Holy Spirit can do for those who are supplicant of the dear Lord! I fear that with more US and Canadian workers regardless of who they are going in and having to bow to LS' overseership will do nothing but continue the onslaught of expense these poor dear VN people can bear! Trust funds from American friends? nThere should have NEVER been such a thing happen! It is not the will of God that some country gets enough money to be able to pound evil will over the heads of a people who are struggling to make life worth living by learning about their Saviour! I'm hoping the authorities that are well aware of Chau's difficulties will soon ban the Canadian and US workers from coming into the country! They have done nothing but cause problems all the way around....the latest of problems is this "demanding" of the friends to be fixing "dinner" for the workers.....these dumb bunny Canadian and US workers don't seem to have their head screwed on straight! I'm ashamed of them all! And I suppose they'd say the same about me...but at least I'm not over there taking up the dinner that runs a family into having nothing for themselves for another unseen time...likely to last until they get another demand for "dinner".......Too bad these foreigner workers have to think of their bellies first! After they get the best dwellings and the best motorbikes....sheesh!

Why the need of American control and why the need of American money?? ~~~ Where do you think Jesus and the apostles get their foods to eat? Without MONEY they can't travel, eat, and find a place to sleep....It was through free willing offerings, donations, from his own followers and strangers in Luke (8:1-3)
Paul and his co-workers traveled in ships, through many places, cities, towns, and countries! in their 3 journey in the book of Acts. It takes a lot of MONEY! to take the gospel of Christ to ALL nations until His return.
Uncle Chau is getting older, one of these days he will be no longer to continue in the work. Uncle Hoa is no longer a 2x2 worker for 4 yrs now. We have only 1 younger native brother worker, Cuong. He doesn't have a respect from the Vietnamese friends for some of his unwise behaviors. We NEED the Americans to help Uncle Chau to rebuilt and sending more Vietnamese brothers workers on the staff. So, someday they can be like Uncle Chau to have the responsibility of the work in VN.
Nathan, quit dreaming! It will never happen once the Western developed nations take the fellowship over in VN! It won't happen in a month of Sundays, that any VN native worker will be allowed to take over. Look at other underdeveloped countries....can you name ONE country where the "overseer" is a native? I can't.....I've thought a time or two maybe they'd let one of the more experienced native workers be overseer in his own native country, but it hasn't happened in 116 years yet...so I suspect that you dreaming of a native worker becoming overseer in VN is purely "dreams"..... The workers that have been sent to VN have displayed little understanding of the nature of the Vietnamese people! They are NOT like proud Canadians nor overproud Americans....they purely enjoy the "simpler" life and I think that is the reason they are able to connect with our God and Saviour....they don't have all the rattletrap things in our lives that take up so many peoples' dreams of owning everything that the world has to offer. These folks are blooming spiritually due to their values in life, their way of life.... I see this advent of increasing the foreign workers in VN as another way of pushing the folks into just turning completely aside for the workers are distressing even those who are trying to be faithful to the foreign workers! And likely it will end up killing uncle Chau in the long run...this is an elderly man who they've distressed to the max! They all should be ashamed of themselves for treating him like they have and now who knows what kind of evil they may do to him now that the authorities have stamped down hard on them to leave Chau in VN! I can almost see the smoke out of LS' ears over here! Why in the name of God's love did the workers not utilize Chau and Hoa in the way that they had done for years when others were not able to get into the country. Why are not these foreigner workers showing the love of God the way they deal with these older workers? IF they would have gone in there with humble minds and loving hearts they would have allowed Chau and Hoa to show them how they learned to deal with all situations within the VN country....how to keep themselves safe when upon treks through the forests and other unpopulated places.....now the workers have not only put themselves to risk but they have put anyone who may well travel with them! It is just evident to many people that the "love of God" is not with those workers who have been sent in to "take over"......

Oh. Colin Brody. Oh. I would have to agree with you. Can you spell “downward spiral”? The only time I had Colin in my home was in a poor student apartment, decorated (cheaply) with aquariums and a marine theme, fishnets, etc… Part of the décor was a print of an old sailor with a pipe in his mouth. Colin walked into the apartment and glommed right on that pipe. (If I had been the more sensitive type, I would have taken that picture down, never for it to be seen again.) Fortunately, I was far too rebellious. That picture still hangs in my laundry room. I have no warm fuzzies where Colin is concerned. I have way more warm fuzzies with Dale. Yep. Unless Colin has learned a lot. Hey, redemption can happen anywhere, right?(!) Yeah.

Nathan, do not say that Jesus took donations etc. He sent his apostles into the country and he told them not to take a bag or a scrip, etc Also we do not read about 'donations" being taken or counted or distributed until way up into Acts where all sound their possessions and had things in common, except for the poor widows who were not seen to.... Jesus got his money out of the mouth of a fish, Nathan! Do you not remember when Peter had told the tax man that yes, he and Jesus paid their taxes. And when he told Jesus, Jesus said that because they both had been born free, that they didn't have to pay a tax, but to keep things peaceful, Jesus told Peter to go to the sea and catch that fish near there and look in his mouth and take out that coin and take it and pay taxes for Jesus and himself! Now I don't think that fish was willingly giving that money for a donation but likely was very glad that since it was undigestable by fishes that someone had the grace to remove it from his mouth!

This would put some authorities right on the path to evicting some very unwanted foreigners! These authorities do not want foreigners sneaking in the backway as these foreigner workers are doing! This is pure unadultered sin in what these Canadian and American workers are doing....to go against the orders of the authorities and then kick the poor man out they have done their best to get rid of.....

Yeah, that very well may be the case. I have had moments of connection with him and appreciation for him. Long ago. However, I do think he probably sold his soul over the Bob Larsen/Marion Crawford/etc. mess. That is the problem - if you ignore the "still small voice" - it gets fainter and fainter - until you really can't hear it anymore.

As for the BL/MC fiasco......well....that may well have been a turning point. At some point, it's not uncommon for people to have to make a choice between a system and their integrity, and that may well have been Dale's Waterloo. I'm inclined to believe (without evidence but with a gut feeling) that the choice came earlier than that.

Yeah, they did that didn't they? And then it appears that they found jobs, preached the gospel, set up local churches and then left. They kept in contact, but went on to spread the gospel elsewhere. The golden friends seem to be doing quite well with spreading the gospel there in Vietnam. I seriously doubt if there are foreign workers that are trekking through the rubber plantations with a bus load of fellow Christians who have pooled their resources to go have a fellowship meeting with other Christians. It seems as if the foreign workers are 'takers', and that the fellowship of golden friends are 'givers'. Guess which group I would be attracted to if I were there?

That is the problem - if you ignore the "still small voice" - it gets fainter and fainter - until you really can't hear it anymore. The further up the hierarchy they climb, the more system-obsessed they become. Its a form of idolatry, and yes, the still small voice gets fainter and fainter.

It seems as if the foreign workers are 'takers', and that the fellowship of golden friends are 'givers'. Guess which group I would be attracted to if I were there? In the past if we had secular friends, or someone we could contact with such as relatives or neighbors, we often told them a little about The Love of God through His given SON (Jesus Christ) if posible, then we were waiting for the visiting of workers, introduced for them. That was how the work of God improved in Viet Nam. Friends and workers closely together in telling the message of GOD. But in the Canadian overseer time, many workers were called, they had their own field, not much work to do. In an elders' meeting, Darrel mentioned that :" Friends are not allowed to tell the message of God, should bring them to the workers. Only workers had the authority to speak to unprofessing." Now, we feel free to speak out how we love, and serve our God, not only by words but also through our life. We are very happy to preach out The Love of God to others freely.

For many years I was keen to share my faith with others but workers and system-minded people squashed my enthusiasm.
Now I don't feel I can recommend the ministry to anyone until its willing to address the issues.

A most wonderful letter from Bau (86 years old) that came this morning. www.2x2vietnam.info/NewLetterFromBau20140212.htmTo me, it is an amazing privilege to share in his friendship, and in his spirit of determination to stand 'solid' to the calling that God has called him to. Read his poem about keeping our steps 'solid' on the heavenly course set before us. Such a strong and beautiful contrast with the advise of some here who would suggest the virtue of trudging in the mire of 2x2ism, even when it is clear that it only leads to instability, division and failure. www.2x2vietnam.info

Many 2x2s workers believe like Darrel T.... AND I disagree with them and their own interpretation. Here is why! We read in the book of Acts Jesus sent Ananias to heal and bring the message of hope and welcome Saul/Paul to the fellowship of believers. Ananais was a first century bishop - ordained - one of the seventy disciples. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ananias_of_Damascus

Yesterday, my wife (Minh Thanh) asked uncle Hoa:"How did you know the website Telling The Truth?" He answered before 2010, Darrel Turner wanted to inform something for the folks in his staff, he posted the information to a website. And each worker had a password in order to access that website.
One time, uncle Hoa entered that website by google the words "workers friends" (perhaps the website of Darrel has the word "workers" and he forgot the URL address). He accidently discovered a lot of other websites regarding 2x2 religion. He read read on the internet . Some websites let him know many good points of 2x2. The others revealed new things to him. But he wasn't shaken at that time. He thought sometimes the prince inherits the throne but he can be naughty. So the church can be corrupt although it is the continuation of the beginning. The worship depends on the spirit, the heart so the origin is not an important matter. Gradually he came to the website Telling The Truth. So I can say that uncle Hoa knew the website TTT thanks to Darrel Turner

The worship depends on the spirit, the heart so the origin is not an important matter. Gradually he came to the website Telling The Truth. So I can say that uncle Hoa knew the website TTT thanks to Darrel Turner Also here in the States, the workers demanded that people quit reading the internet esp. those things written by 2x2 enemies! Many who had surfed the web before but not for information about the 2x2's started then trying to find out why the workers were telling them to NOT surf the internet and read what the 2x2 enemies had posted on their websites. Well, just like all kids when parents forbid their doing something, that is the very thing that they are going to do! So thus googling "2x2", "workers" or "Workers' church", "The Truth", etc gave up some very important facts in regarding to the History about the 2x2's. It is a shame that as the 2x2 ministry was started in the 1890's by William Irvine, a narcisstic, mentally challenged man...even he, himself stated that the 2x2's wouldn't last long....I think he saw what it'd done to him in regards to making him feel special and what it was doing to the men he'd brought in to be workers...that soon it all would be corrupt and die the death that all corrupt things die! I pray that those who are still suckered into being faithful to the workers by the threat of loss of eternaly life will somehow, someway, learn that it is only Jesus Christ that we can be saved....that His sacrifice upon the cruel tree ISS enough to cleanse all mankind fromt heir sins.
