Quote from Kim's blog: "The 'HIPPY' capital of South American Oh horrors....! "I'm afraid it is true..!!! Everywhere you look the streets are full of 'dread-locked' hippies carrying impossibly large backpacks! Every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, they have an art fair...where all the hippies come out and sell their wares. It is very interesting to see all the things that they make. Leona and I walked down to it this a.m.....and enjoyed watching all the people. Yes...'people watching' is quite interesting....but it makes me cringe to think of trying to preach the gospel in this town. We have to make our way past all these visitors....to try and find the 'real' people who live here. It is going to be interesting." Source: kim2far.blogspot.com/search?updated-max=2009-02-05T16%3A27%3A00-02%3A00&max-results=6And another quote, with more insight regarding the locals: "Yesterday we went down to 'la feria' for which this area is famous. It is always quite interesting. It is held right at the base of 'El Piltri' in a big park that is called 'Plaza Pagano'. The name itself always makes me laugh because 'pagano' means 'pagan'. So, when you see all these people with their wares and ways, I can't help but think that it is so very aptly named." Source: kim2far.blogspot.com/2009/02/aqui-lo-magico-es-naturalparque-pagano.html

hyenashabitationhieroglyphics.blogspot.com/ This is an interesting read................especially this part. "I'll hear what I need to change, what I need to grow in, what I need to cut off, whom I need to love more and/or less."

Are you really surprised that they don't wish to have their blogs posted here on the TMB? I kind of figured that they would have went private some time ago, but they just recently became aware of this I guess. Although never a violation of privacy since they were public blogs, still this isn't really the type of forum that workers would normally like to have their personal thoughts and actions made known. Too bad, as I enjoyed reading their blogs on occasion as I am sure others did also. Scott

I think they've perhaps had their collective heads in the sand IF they think they can post blogs etc. on the "web" and remain private....regardless even if they limit their visitors to 100 people....that still makes it NOT private!
I'd advise them if they want to be private, don't get on the internet or pc at all!

I wonder if the time they spend on the blog is time spent serving God? I think we all know the answer to this question, but I could be wrong, maybe their blogs have brought someone to salvation

This is an interesting "worker" blog. Here is a story told by Dale Spencer of the "One True Way." kpinney.blogspot.com/

On this worker blog you can read about a worker who used a wireless microphone, led the singing AND spoke. Some of this might make Bert's list. lmprice.blogspot.com/

Just to clarify.. this is not a worker's blog. It's the blog of a mother of a worker who is in the country shown. Apparently the worker had opportunity to travel with her parents a few days. I don't think that is so unusual for those in foreign fields.
