YUP Lacks it there too. Now we know where this mindless ranter wanders about. Hey ABC has pics listed. I wonder? Also there seems to be a link that was listed on the ST group which pointed to this group for which the BERT Collective was suppose to be. The more we look the more deception we see in the good 2x2s.

I have already explained the last time someone posted these links because that's the level of thinking of some, that during the 2001 General Election I was offering comedic relief on the ABC forum by playing the part of an extreme conservative. Many of my compatriots "got it". Unless you understand the context of my country, the political issues of the day, and the matters about which the election was campaigned upon, you are not in a position to appreciate what the humour was all about.
You've also posted links to a family geneology website that I posted to years ago. What kind of sicko are you? What does this prove? And why are you attempting to put my unprofessing family in the public glare? How can you lack so much human decency?
Now that you apparently know my name and have trawled the internet looking for my footsteps in cyberspace, perhaps you can tell me YOUR details so someone can reciprocate the favour.
Or perhaps you prefer to play the role of the pervert peeping through the hole in the tool shed, whilst remaining hidden from view.
Like "Reality", you show abnormal interest in my personal life.

Could it be that you are providing comedic relief on this fourm by playing the part of a professing person? Now we "get it"! Ha! Ha! You are a most funny fellow when we understand the context.

C'mon you guys. Don't you have lives?
First of all, it's GIT, NOT GIS.
Secondly, who cares what his political or environmental views are? He's as entitled to his as any of us are entitled to ours. And he doesn't need to explain anything to anyone.
Grow up.
(I am an ex. I am no defender of the "one true church thing", whether it comes from GIT or whether it comes from Pope Benny.)

No, it is GIS (glory in self). Because he only talks about himself and how frustrating it is for him that we don't bow in his presence.

You know, what it comes down to is, if you don't want people to know about you, don't type things on the internet.
In two instances recently I have become very aware of this.
#1. In my job search, I've come acrosss a number of companies that are looking for people to work in such a "tracing" industry to supply information to others.
#2. Over these past 4 days I worked for the California State Bar Association at their 2007 convention. (my work: scanning attorney's, judges, etc. into their classes and general other "stuff"). One of the classes I sat for was about this very thing and the area of prosecuting and defending issues in cyberspace. VERY interesting! And again, what it comes down to is, if you don't want it made public and put it "in public"!
Best regards, Edy

It appears that Apples was right on. GIT's posts in other forums was not private, but the person who posted the links was private. The Admin (if that's who really posted the IP info) is not to be trusted to keep private information private. He will give up your private info if he alone deems it is warranted.

However, due to the level of mistrust on this board, you may want to consider responding to this type of thing immediately, before this kind of speculation arises. Thanks again. Thanks "Trust Matters" I appreciate your advice, every new experience is a learning one! There is a fine line between freedom of speech and personal attacks/protecting personal information of a private nature. GIT obviously felt that the mark had been overstepped in the original post. For all here, please use the "report to admin" button at the bottom of each post (if a member) to report your concerns and give me the benefit of your wisdom. Again I repeat what it says at the top, my policy is "strict privacy of personal details" and I will adhere to it without fail. Admin

I'm sure you will agree that more hard feelings are NOT what is needed here.

I'm amazed at how little people know about how easy it is to get IPs, e-mails, IM conversations, etc..
I saw someone on a political board post with the deliberate intention to track IPs. This person's post included a link to an empty .gif that was hosted at his website. He watched the hits on that empty gif file and knew the IP of everyone who read that thread as each reader's PC loaded the empty .gif. You could not see the empty gif file unless you turned "display pictures" off in the advanced browser controls. I did that, saw the .gif , and its properties showed where it was hosted. I'm on the internet with pictures turned off quite often and have seen this done quite a few times.
I don't have the time or energy to do this but can see how easy it would be. If someone did this here on this thread, they would not only know the IP of every poster, guests included, but even the IP of every person who reads the thread.
What this means is that IPs are really not private personal information. That is why the advice is to never say anything, even as a "guest", you would not want to repeat in a courtroom in front of your mother.
