Hi Spidey & Zorro,
I must agree with you, that systems are interchangeable and malleable but our souls/spirits are not and therefore are judged individually. I see many good and true Christians in other belief structures and although I don't agree with their form of worship I can easily see the hand of God on and in their lives and praise God that he knows the individual hearts of men and is compassionate to wards all. I long ago came to the conclusion that there are going to be many in the F&W fellowship who are going to be disappointed at the end of life to find they haven't achieved what they thought was salvation and are going to look on with many misgivings as others from different forms of worship are taken into the Lords bosom. It brings it right down to our individual relationship and service to our Lord.
Cornsilk, Hi my friend how are all the move preparations going? Have often thought of you and this big step in lifes journey that you are taking.
Love and care to all.

I have to second what Spidey is saying... I have also recently left and if anything, Jeff was a reason NOT to leave. He was honest and open w/ me and willing to try and answer my questions. Like another post recently said, the responses from so many others are NOT like Jeff's...I suppose that most people just don't know what to say, but I think it's sad that people can't discuss the issues. Actually, i think it's more than sad, (it's scary!) but Spidey has already dropped the C-bomb a few times on this thread so I won't go there today.
For the posts regarding the denial of exclusivity: Are you serious?

When so called Christians discuss their fellow humans in this manner, it is as if they spit into God's face. We are created in His likeness, Everyone is conceived in Divinity. Discounting anyone because they aren't in a certain belief system, designed and controlled by MAN, underscores how LITTLE they understand that which they profess to know. We are born with a sinful nature, not a divine nature. Christians talking about the world is a normal thing. It is from where they came, and how they viewed and understood things. After being born again the perspective and focus is different, but you have to be born again to understand it. A tiger cannot tell a cow how to be a cow, so how can a non-christian tell a christian what they are "supposed" to be like. Its kinda funny when the secular world sticks their nose in to God's business..........................haha
