Pretty acoustics. However, with my hearing difficulties I couldn't make out a word they were singing. Loved the acoustics though. Thanks slowtosee.

Went to my first hockey practice with the next generation, my oldest grandson. I had forgotten how much I love being in a hockey rink watching the kids learn how to skate and play hockey. He is six and hasn't skated much, but he hung in there and did awesome! He really wants to play hockey and watching his hard work to achieve that goal was so inspiring for me.

www.google.ca/amp/s/www.cbc.ca/amp/1.5350426 Some people we know lost their experienced pilot son in plane crash lately. Plus couldn’t find his body. A group of Hutterite volunteers , from area I grew up, found his body the other day , Those guys are unreal. They drop what they are doing and go all over , and help in a major way . The leader of the group was a little boy , when a girl on his colony drowned and he remembers standing on the shore watching a dive team recover the body and he felt a “calling” he could maybe help like that sometime . Through the years , he gathered funds And support and equipment etc, and has been instrumental in recovering many bodies . A while back , another family shared how totally blessed they felt , as they were watchibg the Divers searching for their drowned family member , and some Hutterite ladies were singing hymns on the shore doing what they could to be a support. Two summers ago , a person drowned here one evening , and those guys heard about it on media , and next morning they were on the scene offering their help , had drove all night . Just felt inspired and thot I’d share We can all contribute to society , no matter our beliefs or non, and be a help in difficult situations. Each one of us , has unique opportunities to do something. Thanks for what you do , wherever you are , to lighten the load fir another . Alvin Edit - I was made aware yesterday that, in fact , it had been the RCMP divers that found Jonathan , not the Hutterite team as I erroneously stated , although they were there and helping . My mistake

Can completely empathize with that young man, having spent many years (well over two unpaid decades) in search and rescue often becoming “search and recovery.” (Sad sigh.)

Thanks Wally, remember it is a dirty duck, that dabbles in the same pond. Where should they 'dabble'?

The reason there are homeless is the pyramid.
The pyramid is what we all are at some level: selfish.
This leads to a conflict of interest with the truth.
The other aspect of the pyramid is the very rich.
The pyramid religion of the very rich is to preserve their material favor.

We share song leading responsibilities at a small church and this morning is my turn - One of the songs chosen is “come thou fount of every blessing” I can relate to the lyrics , written a few hundred years ago , and I think the “ autobiographical “ last few verses of the song apply to me . Maybe , someone else can relate , and also be encouraged by this song . “Prone to wander “ m.youtube.com/watch?v=g3w9nvXuVnk

“So shall ye say, having said and done all, I have only done that which was my duty to do.” Those words I can heartily say today, wish it could have been more...

Tiny Buddha @tinybuddha When your head hits the pillow tonight, remind yourself that you've done a good job. You're headed down your path at your own pace & with every obstacle you are trying your best. Be patient with yourself & remember, big things are achieved not all at once, but one day at a time.

“Do not be dismayed by the brokenness of the world. All things break. And all things can be mended. Not with time, as they say, but with intention. So go. Love intentionally, extravagantly, unconditionally. The broken world waits in darkness for the light that is you.”

Thanks guys. Enjoy reading posts on here. Really to be honest, I find some things Atheists/agnostic say & 1 or 2 Christians say inspiring but in general I often wonder what the seeking soul/ lost sheep would find inspiring on this proboard. Because basically it’s predominately taken over with proclaiming a load of nonsense and then people stand up to the nonsense written.

Everyone is a Genius. But if you judge a fish in it's ability to climb a tree, it will spend it's whole life believing it is stupid. Albert Eisenstein.
So true. We all have our strengths and if we judge each other by one method only, the strengths outside of that narrow window will appear to be stupid and ignored. Always look for good and strength in others. It's there and when you find it, it changes how you view the person imo.

imagine to an “ onlooker “ to some of the “ discussion” ,( term used loosely )we participate in on this board , they would be reminded of a “robot call “ like this one - there is NO God , uh , ya , my third eldest Lorissa , she is very smart ....yes ... yes ......funny you should call .....she mentioned the other day there IS a God ..... well... yes yes yes ....... I have considered .... what did you say your name was again ........sorry ,....I can barely hear you ...,,sir ..... Enjoy m.youtube.com/watch?v=UiHeKnd8w7gm.youtube.com/watch?v=ILnMbIibiic
