Age 79 of WI died April 24th, 2008. Her 2 daughters Arlene and Eleanor are in the work.

Arlene and Eleanor are laboring in what field? Tis nice to have a few details .... Eleanor worked for a long time in Poland and for conventions, also preps she was in Germany. In this time (approximately 2000- 2005) was Tammy Carr her companion. Where she is now, I do not know. bluesky

Helen Lorraine Leszewski, 79, of Eau Claire, formerly of Thorp, died Thursday, April 24, 2008, at Oakwood Villa in Altoona.
Services for Helen will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 27, 2008, at Fuller-Speckien-Hulke Funeral Home, 3209 Rudolph Road, Eau Claire, with Terry Ault and Perry Pearson officiating. Burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday, April 28, 2008, at East Thorp Cemetery in the town of Withee in Clark County.
Helen was born June 20, 1928, to Lester and Lois (Dissmore) Stockwell in Anacortes, Wash. She married John James Leszewski of Thorp on July 10, 1947. John died Jan. 18, 2002. Helen worked as a dietary aide at Midway Hospital in St. Paul for many years.
She is survived by her three daughters, Eleanor of Poland, Arlene of Missouri and Julia of Stanley; one son, Stanley of Owen; three grandchildren, Ami, Tori and Jett; and one brother, Wilbur (Myrtle) Stockwell of Pittsville.
Helen is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and a son, James.

I think she helped care for an elderly friend in our area in the late 80's/early 90's. She was very kind. I never knew she had children. I guess I was to obsessed w/my own teenage life to learn much about her.

I know Wilbur (Myrtle) Stockwell, and I went to school with Ami (g'daughter) at UW-River Falls. andy
