Thank you, yet you fail to show me where in that "link" does it say "it is poor form to bump your own thread... ", the "keyword" being "your" own thread! I would suggestion that you "register" your nickname, so that you can edit your "mistakes"!! Prolly considered good "netiquette" to do so! In the mean time, get off my back.

Eddie was right- Thread bumping, which in its most open form is simply a post consisting of the word "bump", is commonly considered a breach of netiquette and some moderated forums forbid it. Users may get around that by posting what is ostensibly a genuine reply. Sometimes this will mockingly contain the word "bump" in it, such as *Is wandering the forum when he bumps into this thread*. It may also take the form of a trivial question or response such as "Anyone?", rather than using the word "bump" which makes clear their intention. In other instances, bumping is used to keep threads deemed important from falling off a front page. In this case, bumping would not be a breach of netiquette; to the contrary, it may be seen as a necessary if mundane task to be performed. However, many forums now have features allowing administrators to make a thread "sticky", that is, the thread will remain at the top regardless. BUMP is sometimes used as a backronym for "Bring Up My Post/Postcount" or as a recursive acronym "Bump Up My Post". From en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bump_%28internet%29not that it really matters... Karl

again, sorry I would suggestion that you "register" your nickname, so that you can edit your "mistakes"!! Prolly considered good "netiquette" to do so! In the mean time, get off my back. Generally, when a common word is quoted it indicated that the writer is attributing some special meaning to the word in quotes. Could you fill us in on what meanings you intended to attach so we an more accurately know what you are attempting to tell us? Also, I could not find a meanins for prolly. Could you let us know what prolly is and why it would be considered goot netiquette. Thanks in advance.

It is okay to poke fun of other when that is all you have experienced in life for yourself. It is great for your self-esteem to put others down, I wish you the best.

Sorry couldnt resist I JUST HAD to bump this completely rediculous argument about "ettiquite" The guy asked for opinions/comments he bumped the thread, which I DIDNT know was supposedly bad form in an attempt to have his thread seen AND to the best of my guess STILL HASNT GOTTEN any opinions/comments on his original post. So my opinion, ITS BUNK and most likely a lousy attempt at humor
