Two pork recipes, but one is best on the stove top. And my recipes are a not based on fixed amounts, I just kind of do it and see what happens, so if you're a stickler for details - sorry!
1) This one is really NOT gourmet cooking - you use a stuffing mix.
Place pork chops in oven at 350. Follow the directions on a stuffing mix, first saute some chopped up apples in a pan with butter. Add those to the stuffing. Add the stuffing to your pork chops, and cook until the chops are done and the stuffing gets nice and crispy around the edges.
2) This one is on the stove top and is VERY yummy!
- Saute pork chops in olive oil in a large fry-pan. Add minced garlic, fresh rosemary, salt and pepper. Make sure pork chop are browned on both sides, then scoot them over to the sides of the pan.
- Add one or two cans of navy beans, drained, to the middle of the pan, with all of the sauce that's been created by sauteing the pork chops. Add more garlic, rosemary, salt and pepper to the beans and mix it all around. Let it all cook until the chops are done and the bean mixture gets a little crispy on the bottom (stirring the beans and flipping the chops as needed).
- If your pan is too small to do all this at once, cook the chops until almost done, then set them aside on a plate while you cook the beans in the pan, then scoot the beans to one side and add the chops back in to warm them up again.

Juliette those sound delicious! Here's one that I found on-line... allrecipes.com/Recipe/Baked-Pork-Chops-I/Detail.aspx INGREDIENTS • 6 pork chops • 1 teaspoon garlic powder • 1 teaspoon seasoning salt • 2 egg, beaten • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour • 2 cups Italian-style seasoned bread crumbs • 4 tablespoons olive oil • 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup • 1/2 cup milk • 1/3 cup white wine DIRECTIONS 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). 2. Rinse pork chops, pat dry, and season with garlic powder and seasoning salt to taste. Place the beaten eggs in a small bowl. Dredge the pork chops lightly in flour, dip in the egg, and coat liberally with bread crumbs. 3. Heat the oil in a medium skillet over medium-high heat. Fry the pork chops 5 minutes per side, or until the breading appears well browned. Transfer the chops to a 9x13 inch baking dish, and cover with foil. 4. Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour. While baking, combine the cream of mushroom soup, milk and white wine in a medium bowl. After the pork chops have baked for an hour, cover them with the soup mixture. Replace foil, and bake for another 30 minutes.

I like to get fancy on occasion, but my favorite (well, my favorite is to do this with pork tenderloin! but...pork chops are good too!) is just to lightly coat them in shake and bake, grease the bottom of a pan, and bake em! Good for you baked and yummy with just a lil salt and pepper on top of the shake n bake! Another thing I like to do with pork... all 3 of us here like it....either mix mustard and ketchup together or use bbq sauce...spread it over the pork chops and then place thinly sliced onion over THAT while it all bakes for about an hour...yummy! M.
